I've noticed after I see lots of drone they're prepping to swarm so I watch those colonies and create extra space for them.

I am seeing a fair amount of second growth in the field and it looks to be predominantly sub clover, a great source of light honey.

Believe it or not, only a couple when I took off my glove to pick upmarket queen I had dropped!! Doh 🙄 surprisingly not actually very stingy lol

Is the frame you put the screen cage on drawn on plastic or wax foundation?

About 200 microns thick. It’s a soft flexible plastic, used in the poly tunnel industry
