Buying medium size is also fine if you want the plate to cover your stomach, but i purposely went for the smallest option It does not come with pouches so you need to get them on your own. The front part of the platecarrier is totally velcro, so you can mount magazine pouches on the front easily. Alternatively it also comes with a molle front panel, so you can molle your pouches on if you dislike velcro.
