Great lookin mini, i recommend doing something really similar with toy dinosaurs, especially for kitbashing seraphon, toy dinos have surprisingly great textures and posability (with a bit of time and glue you can normally bend the legs), if you have a 3d printer, you can print some cool heads and go crazy.
You never fail to impress, sir. As guys who knew the value of a nickel and improvised using the cheapest five-and-dime toys they could find in the formative years, I think Dave, Gary and the rest of the Lake Geneva OGs would be impressed too. New content on this channel is always a gift. Thanks again.
I came for the D&D Stories, but I stayed for the miniature mash-ups. You have great artistic touches and are approaching genius-level creativity. Plus, you make it look SO SIMPLE. I look forward to every video you put out.
@@grimmuluckgamesandcrafts8313 Me too, I just suggested some materials in case you needed to make one in a rush for a coming session (had 1 surviving Madball from when I was a kid, "Oculous Orbus" the big eye, hot glued some snake minis to the back and used it as the Mighty Max giant cyclops eye for a game a few years ago).
It's funny because the bulette was originally a dollar store monster. Gary Gygax found it in a dollar store bag marked "dinosaurs " . The rust monster was in there too.
It doesn’t really scream bulette to me, but I absolutely love the model. I can see it stomping through some ancient ruins trumping anything in its path. It looks like some strong ancient creature that cultists would summon for its brutish strength, destructive rage, and insatiable appetite.
I have tons of toy army men I find from back in the day. I think this has inspired me to find a good use for them? Do you ever make any vehicles like this?
@@MiniatureMashUp you should probably say that up front. Put up a section in the video saying you'll have a store or something for these models. Oh, also do you do requests? I think some of your viewers would love to see you make a model Tarrasque out of Army men or something
Much better than the last one, but it still doesn't look quite like a Boulette. The Boulette from D&D v3 onwards doesn't have a back fin, instead it has smooth plates on its back with a pointed one sticking out slightly. Cool looking creature regardless.
I did similar. Same shark but the other Dino. Shark came a part at seam and fit into decapitated Dino. boardgamegeek.com/image/4727619/dungeons-dragons-miniatures

Thank you.
It's impressive how much one can do with cheap plastic toys and some basic tools.
It's a great way to build up your mini collection for very little money.

Thank you. I'll make more cartoons soon.
I already built a Bulette inspired by your first version, but „everybody needs a f(r)iend“!
Great build! I like how you compare the pricing at the beginning of each episode.
Thanks.
This reminds me of wyloc making a beholder out of ping pong ball!
Thanks.
You sir are a GENIUS!!!!!!!! AMAZING as always!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
This is great and why I would love to see your spin on a beholder
If you have one of the one-eyed old Madballs toys, a few rubber/plastic snake minis and some beads laying around, it's an easy and fairly cheap build.
@@LeonGarnet I don't have any mad balls and I still would like to see Dave make one and paint it just to see his take on it

Probably start with a golf ball or ping-pong ball.

Dnd can be one of the cheapest nerdy hobbies if you apply yourself a little.
Very nice Dave!
Thank you.
Looks great, the shark seemed to work better than the whale.
Thanks.
Wow Dave, best build yet! Your thrifty solutions never cease to amaze me!
Thanks.
Great skills!
Thank you.

I really love the Nolzur Bulette but I think the one you made looks great!
Thanks.
Good looking build! Great budget mini!
Thank you.
Wow amazing
Thank you.
This is Awesome Sauce!
Thank you.
Very nice! Subscribed!
Thanks and welcome aboard.
Where do you get blades for your razor knife? That cut on the dinosaur was one of the cleanest I've ever seen.
That knife actually came with 50 blades. I think i got it at a local hardware store. It's been a minute though...
I didn’t mind the other one but gotta admit this is more eye catching
Thanks.
love it brother!
Thank you.
@@MiniatureMashUp hey make a behir brother
I really like the build. Some of my players are starting to fear the dollar store / clearance section.
Nice.
Very awesome. Much better then the first one. As I believe did it once you can do it again and do it better.
Now how about a water weir?
Love it!!
Thank you.
Solid genus!
Thank you!
That's awesome
Thank you.
It looks so good

Yeah, there are a few on this channel.

Sweet!
I'll check them out after I finish the playlist I'm on. Just finished your pirate one with the pebble texture paper.
love it!
Thank you!
Really digging all the new build videos. When are you going to sell some work on eBay?
Contact me through the facebook page and we can skip Ebay. 99% of what you see on the channel is for sale.

Hell yes!
Mashed potatoes? I can dig it lol
Cool.
Great video. What is the brand of epoxy you use?
Pro-weld.

wll looks good to me me i do the toy give a good pain job put on a bass and call a day thats me see as go
better
PVA on metal is going to flake off eventually. I would have used some epoxy to texture the base before applying sand.
Otherwise great build.
