You gotta go to a nice rated piercing/tattoo shop. The piercing needles they use are hollow so it pushes your cartilage out and makes room for the new piercing whereas the Claire’s piercing gun just breaks your cartilage.
I totally recommend taking the time to find a good piercer.
the one ear you have the third piercing in actually looks really good. maybe let the other side heal and get it repierced by someone else? but happy birthday!

Happy birthday Emma! I’m so sorry about your ears 😢 Claire’s messed up my 3rds toooo, I was so upset but I let them heal and I eventually did a lot of asking around my community and a lot of research and found a super nice lady who owned a amazing tattoo shop with her husband, and she did a beautiful job and my ears healed and turned out perfect. Don’t give up beautiful it all comes with time ❤ you are so amazing and deserve the world.

Leave the one in, unless it starts to hurt really and bothers you. Also don’t feel bad I have done this too! And let the other side heal. Get it done again but at a tattoo place that will measure to make sure that they don’t have it too close to your 2nd piercing. They use these things called calipers to make sure it’s even. I’m so sorry girl! Definitely understand and been there! Also I’m a very slow healer when it came to my ears healing it’s just a game of being patient and consistent cleaning with sea salt to help it heal. ❤ ps happy birthday !! 🎉

I have 13 piercings 11 in my ears and going to a tattoo shop has been the best decision i’ve ever made! But with repierecing you have to let it heal for a long time; I had to go through this and I think it would be better to take the other one out and just have two :)) Happy Birthday Girly 🩷

I haven't had any bad luck with getting my ears pierced but I did go to a jewelry store to get them done. I would highly recommend that if it's possible for you! I have three piercings in each ear and honestly love them, I also have small ear lobes!

Hope you had a lovely lovely day 🎂 I’ve had a total of 9 piercings on my ears and I’ve taken out 3 while I’ve had them (one of which were thirds that I thought was too close to my seconds). Take the thirds out if you don’t love them and if you’re not happy with them or even questioning them so that it can heal over. I think your ears are perfectly shaped for piercings and the thirds can go higher up than where it is now so that you have more space between the seconds and the thirds and it would look much better once it heals. Try piercing places like Studs or Astrid and Miyu or even Maria Tash because those places really care for your ears and holds your hands tightly through the entire process. They may be a bit more pricier but after 9 piercings I’ve realised that those places guarantee a smooth and happy process. You can also consider something called “ear alchemy” where the piercer looks at your ear shape and recommends piercings that suit your ear anatomy. I’m sorry your birthday piercings didn’t work out though!

I know you had a bad experience at a tattoo shop. I recommend doing some research on the shops around you. If they are a good shop they should not heal and hurt the way they did! BUT at a tattoo shop you can definitely ask the piercer for advice and tips on placement and jewelry to give you the best look and the look you want. Also another tip I always tell people, is I know sometimes a piercing can be so expensive but getting a good metal can really help with healing. I have lots of piercings and I have found that my body only likes 14k and titanium earrings.

honestly i would keep the one side in and let the other heal and than get it re pierced! my 4 lobe piercings i got done at the piercing pagoda and have never had any problems & all healed great! i also have my cartilage that i got done at a tattoo shop
