I pay $3 a month, true the stations I listen to also play a lot of the same artist, however there are also times when they will play hit after hit from various artists, or a string of awesome throwbacks that I forgot about so I keep the sub for now.
One would laugh if you think they're going to blame the artist for every time I call I ask what the music royalty fee is just to see what they would say and see if they give me some bull crap every time that's different. They always say it's the fee to license the music from the record companies. So I don't know who you're talking to that would blame the artist as the sole reason when they're only just a fraction of the reason why you're paying the music royalty fee besides paying the calculating amount of tax that is based on where you live.
We've never paid full price. When it's time to renew, my wife tells them that it's not worth it for the amount they want to renew it to and says she doesn't want it anymore. Then they go back and forth to settle on a price. We don't have any sports channels, we're not sports fans. But we have a lot more than 6 channels and they play a wide variety of music. They have new stuff as well.
What do you pay, if I might ask? I watch sports, mostly post season, but not a radio listener with sports. I'm nearing my 3 month end. What happens? Do they just shut it off, or Do they continue to give you the service and just send you a bill in the mail? I'm debating whether I want to keep it, but like you I don't find the value for the price that they're asking.s on considering taking one of the lower tier monthly services. Cheers

Apparently, if you didn’t know Sirius and XM are two different things. They are both satellite radio companies but one day they merged and now they are SiriusXM.
I told them I would not subscribe when they have a gay station, and a disney channel. I don't need kids flipping threw channels listening to some LGBTQ crap. I only listened to XM from 2015-2018 when we had Dish before that it was only FM radio lol. I would like to listen to XM again for the nostalgia but I don’t want to pay 😂 and current alternative/ indie music doesn’t suit my taste, in 2016 it was still good but now it’s eh.
Yes they do they make more money on their streaming service than tuners them selfs because it's easy & cheaper pay for Streaming app than active a tuner
I have noticed a fair bit of repetition myself, but it seems like every few months they cycle some new material in at least. I am upset that they have recently scaled back the number of packages that they offer. I'm just on the base tier, Streaming Music Showcase, which is no longer available.
