I will make a concerted effort to restart my Rosary daily from tomorrow. I worry because some days I don't say my traditional prayers but I call on Jesus during the day. I feel lost when I don't say my traditional.prayers.
Prayer life did not worry me it bored me. Rosaries and reading Prayers that someone else wrote addressed to someone else. I boredom turned to joy when I opened scriptures and turned my attention to God the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ. Typically one may want to start with singing one or more of our beautiful hymns, then go to the book of psalms, then read and meditate on the beatitudes, read John 17. Then as you sit in the outer courts you ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into the inner courts as focus on the throne of God.. It's an amazing experience to be enveloped in His love and experience tears flow uncontrollably.
I have my prayers in the morning, when driving I say my Rosary , put my christian songs and sing and praise Father God, LORD Jesus and the Holy Spirit and at night I do my nightly prayers
I say my prayers that I have memorized several prayers when I drive long distances it's when I say my prayers, try to say it in the mornings, noon, evenings and IN between i make it a habit to be with God as much as I can .

According to De Montfort, one rosary (one mystery, 5 decades) for children, and a MINIMUM of three rosaries (3 mysteries: joyful, sorrowful, and glorious) for teens and grownups (youth to old age). Four rosaries if you want to level up (joyful, sorrowful, glorious, and luminous mysteries).

Since returning to the Church. But I never let . My Father God or Jesus , I started to Pray the Rosary. That was difficult for me. But I do it 3,, times a week. I would like to say daily. But I'm in the Word . Plus Prayer for the lost souls. And my Son's and daughter in lawz , 5 grandchildren., out witnessing. I'm suffering from lower back pain, knee pain been 7 months since I really walked, without falling really hard. I've been homebound. I miss Mass . I watch on my phone. I'm taking a catechism. Class with Fr. Mike . Because I can't get around. I pray in the spirit. I forgot I had that gift. 14 I was Baptized in the Holy Spirit. Please Pray for my back and knees, when you said , I could have pride ubove God. I went to Pray and to read. Up on the worse sins . Thank you , Frs. I love your teachings
Praying has never been the same since1999. I see the throne of God but unless I unless I persist. He just lets others have what they want. Before 34 I didn't complain about anything. Now I do. He just used me as a sacrifice for everyone else. Much to my dismay.
I always struggle with my prayers. I never went through the comfort zone. I get tired and am doing housework, i am praying less. Does that mean i am risking my salvation. Please, father, answer my question. Thanks
Hello. Many of us struggle with getting our prayers said. Life presents us with many struggles, which can cause us to be lead away from our prayer life. However, if we offer up our work, struggles and trials as a prayer to God, He will receive them as such. Confidence and trust! God bless you.
Salve Maria! My question in regards to devotion to Our Lady vs Intercession of the saints. I’ve not felt as particularly close to Our Lady, but have been drawn and called spiritually by 2 specific saints. Of course after this podcast I could do some work on my relationship with the holy mother, but why did it happen this way for me if there was a preference on how we ask for intercession
Salve Maria! People have devotions to particular Saints for different reasons. Our Lady is a Saint, and the Queen of Saints; we can call on her anytime and she will hear us. God bless you.

Praying on my knees and focusing on a crucifix or image of Our Lord helps with having less distractions.
