Hey Tamer, a good place to start might be with the founder of System dynamics - Jay W. Forrester : Industrial Dynamics, Productivity Press, Portland, Oreg., 1961. Urban Dynamics, Productivity Press, Portland, Oreg., 1969. World Dynamics, Productivity Press, Portland, Oreg., 1971
The only book you will probably ever need is System Dynamics by Katsuhiko Ogata (I have the Fourth Edition and our professor uses that edition too) amazing book with clear explanations and helpful tips
@@macpr0c I think it mostly depends on what branch you are looking for Ogata's books are great for engineering topics. But not really good for economics and biology. But I too endorse Ogata's book on System Dynamics. I have three of his books. Modern Control Theory and Matlab for Controls Engineers in addition to his System Dynamics book.
Awesome sir... Good explanation...any1 Can easily understand
can you please clarify why and how the positive feed-back loop is corelated with unstable processes ?
"A stock variable is a measure of some static quantity". Hmm... I'd say that it's a dynamic quantity since the stock level changes with time.
***** How about "A stock variable is a measure of some quantity whose level changes with time as governed by its flows".
I agree. but not all quantities change with time. e.g. speed of light
Speed of light is not a quantity, it is a constant.
thanks
can someone give me book titles about system dynamics? Thank you very much

Teu ngarti :(
The visuals on this video is beautiful, but have no relation to the subject matter. Terrible visual presentation. How not to make it on youtube.
if you don't understand how these images relate, research Emergence, you'll see that these patterns are often the result of complex systems dynamics
