I absolutely love your cut/style and this gel is the cherry on top ! 💕 I learned about this gel after watching Shelly’s video so I ordered it and let me tell ya the hold and curl definition is amazing! This gel gave me curl definition/ longevity throughout the whole week and I workout at the gym 6/days a week ! I used the Pattern leave-in and the moisture it gave was 💯 and when some of my strands frizzed during the week ( more than what I like) , I used Innersense I Create Definition Styling Foam to refresh them. 😇

You should use the Alikay Naturals Crème Brûlée curling custard. Excellent! People sleep on this product for wash and goes!
I have used it during 2017 and it’s amazing. I used it for twist and it gives the best twist. I am going to pick it up if I run out of my twisting creams
Oh okay, I’ve used it for wash and go’s. Great definition and shine. I like to use Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter or Mousse Def by the Doux for twists.

Your hair looks so good with that the addition of the oil in that gel.
Gives your WNG a light shine and idk if it’s just me… but your hair looked better and better as the days went on.

I love the haircut! It’s so cute. When u say your hair was webbing what do you mean? Like when doing your wash and go? I’m noticing a ton of knots on my ends are tangling on my ends. I’m getting a blown out cut soon to see what’s going on.

Yes assets your ends if you are having trouble! If you were going to a CIK stylist I heard there is a form for that on CIK instagram page for those who are experiencing issues from these cuts
Hi sis your hair is bomb I am jealous😍😍. Why not leave it as is. It does not look damaged from here? Do your treatments weekly. I had some really damaged ends once from doing diy curly cuts 🙊. The only thing that stopped me from cutting was the fact that it had gotten way too short without realising it. I later discovered through trial and error that my hair does better with shampoos and conditioners with some hydrolysed protein. I used to avoid protein thinking I was low porosity. Anyway long story short I was going to stretch for 1 full year otherwise I would have gotten bold. My hair is not hard to manage at all and since starting to use products with protein 4 months ago I kid you not my ends look and feel better. I am shocked because I have always thought cutting was the answer. I have a ton of Olaplex but I think over using it in the past caused more brittleness.
For me products with a nice balance of protein and moisture vs Olaplex, Fanola fiber fix, cureplex, the redkin line with citric acid have actually mended my ends and got rid of knots 😯😯!!
Don’t cut it sis your ends are full. Just wait another 6 months.
One more thing sis, hydrolysed proteins are actually humectants. I first heard it on Afopes channel but later did research. Deep conditioners with hydrolysed protein in the first 6 or 5 ingredients actually facilitate moisture penetration in the strands. As in the proteins themselves. That is why it’s often we see some moisture treatments have a little protein in them 😬..

Yes I noticed most deep conditioners have a little protein in them that I currently use! I will definitely have my stylist examine and determine what needs to go! I don’t think my hair is as bad because I don’t see any splits! But I am going to take a closer look when I wash my hair next!
Yes Olaplex I find for my hair is okay before heat styling but if I use it too much can make the hair brittle!
My ends are full but I can still feel like a few inches don’t feel like my hair at my roots! But
I am definitely going to be reading a lot more about hair so I can be knowledgeable and make smart decisions when caring for this hair 🙌🏾!
It’s funny because my stylist is very nice she always shows you what needs to go and shows you what is happening! Then you make the decision to cut!

Yes I have a cousin by marriage and a sister in law and they tried it once and had issues and went back to straight cutting
