More trailers should be like this! Simple, yet informative. First time I've bought a game featured in Rock, Paper, Shotguns's Unknown Pleasures column. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some gliding to do :)
The game seems very relaxing but you also say the maps aren't huge. I could definitely see myself playing this game but for relaxation purposes I'd like very long easy maps where you can just keep flying.
to be honest, you easily convinced me to buy the game, and i really like it. may i suggest some kind of a zen mode where you can just fall through an endlessly generated map and if you get bored of the scenery, go through a portal for a quick change. the default game is really relaxing but i think some endless mode would be even more relaxing.
there is a zen mode& you get achievement when turning on zen mode

Have you conidered a VR addition? Since the control are simple and the flight/risk experience is important, it could be an awesome addition!
(And a Fan controler to add some wind when playing with the VR headset :p)

just got this game. You guys did a fantastic job, this game is fantastic.
for 2 bucks and the fact i got it in a steam sale for 50 cents is a steal and i genuinely feel bad for buying it for less than 10$
high quality, great gameplay would recommend 10/10 and its not like your gonna lose a whole lot anyways

i still play this game from time to time. its still something you can play when internet is down, or you are on the train and use laptop, great timekiller to sink some hours into.

Dear Grizzly Games: what is the name of the sound effect that plays when you go through a portal? It dates back to the early 90s at least, and I have long wondered what to call it.
From my days back in development I'm pretty sure I had that sound as part of Sound Ideas Series 6000. That was a big 20+ CD set full of thousands of sound effects, many of which you'll recognize because they've been used in games, movies and TV for decades.
The file for this one was 'magic-something' like magic portal, magic effect, I don't remember exactly.
the only thing i would like would for the gameplay to be smoother and be able to flap your wings to make it feel more smooth

You should make games for mobile devices too. Switching on my laptop or Desktop is not my idea of relaxation. I will wait for your iOS or Android port.

BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CRASH INTO A WALL??
It was so much fun at first but I quit after a few minutes because it just becomes super frustrating after a while and sucks the fun out of flying because its so hard controlling the guy. I just want a game where I can fly easily and not worry about crashing, can you guys please launch an update allowing players to do that, just fly effortlessly without worries or dying? First person view would be great too!
thanks for your feedback! we'll definetely consider that. until the next update you might play around a bit with the sensibility settings - a lower sensibility usually makes the game easier to control. also playing with a control pad is easier for the most players.
I think the same Krispy, I want to control in which direction the guy goes. Like having a "Forward" and a "Breack" or "slow down" or "Backwards" button. Could be Spacebar, Shift, costumizable. What happens in this game, is that the guy keeps going down, like there's gravity pulling him. I pull him up, but then he insists on going down. I want him to go down only if I want to go down. Still a great game though.
