If someones looking to buy a ROEG helmet, go for MTR. Full face, MX and Jet helmets frOm Roeg are rebranded MTRs. Roeg offers more colours, MTR only has matte Black. And the MTRs were rebranded and sold as AJS helmets before...
Biltwell Gringo S here. Similar features and style as many here.
Man ! great video. I'm stuck between the gray shoi and the bullet- im nervous about the bullets top pressure you mentioned, my head shape is similar to you. hows the airflow in the bullet I live in very hot weather?
Shoei is easily the best one here...
There is a local company here in japan called damtraxx that focuses on retro helmet same as the white one and some like the bell retro ones
Nice review!
Thank you!
I’ve got the Bullit, lovely looking, but very noisy, even with ear plus!!
Other than colours & graphics - has the Bullitt had any updates since first released?
I love my Arai, it's a modern helmet, with a retro touch.
Show it pendeja
I had the AGV 3000 and upgraded to a Glamster, whole world of improvement IMO. This is a great overview but a quick ride with them on would better. I have heard despite it's great looks the Bullet is horrendously noisy for example.
I have the Bullet as my city helmet and love that the opening is so wide that I barely have to turn my head to change lines. But never use it on highways, the noise is absolutely terrible at speeds above 40km/h
Did you have the AGV X3000? Why do you prefer the Glamster. I've tried to find the X3000 but they are only available in USA and England.
@@fuglbird They both look good in their own way but the Glamster is much more of a 'proper' helmet.
Hi, will the by city rock accommodate the fitting of sena 10s communication system, thanks for any help 👍
Dang! Arai Rapide/Neo gets no love lol!
im looking for something that'll go with a moto guzzi V11 Sport, Im torn between a bell bullit or bycity lol
I have just completed 3000 miles road trip to Sturgis. I used my brand new Shoei Glamster, the only 2 complains are noise and no enough ventilation
Agreed. It runs hot too above 25c.
More ventilation = more noise
No retro helmet is ever going to be able to compete with truly modern designs with regard to noise, ventilation, weight, etc.
You must give up A LOT of all that to get the style you’re after, and these aren’t the helmet you should grab for a long road trip.
Biltwell for me.
How's the Origine Vega stand against this list in terms of comfort, viewing, and safety?
What size bell bullitt does the presenter in the video wear? Or he’s pass on wearing it?
Hallo mogy,
Tolle Aufnahmen.
No Arai Neo?
No Nexx XG100R?
I went for Axor Brute here in India, this came out from the belly of Bell Bullitt it seems...! 😃
How's the brute holding up? I've been looking at it for a while but couldn't find any real world review
@@ramanshekhar9514 its good and unique in style…wider view in front is a relief by letting in more air and also the extra outer view for that matter :)
A crime that you guys don't have Hedon on the list.
Biltwell Lanesplitter: Best bang for the bucks BUT: Noisy
Love Bell's design and black and red colors' choice, but those 3 lines, orange and yellow absolutely reminds me the LGBT flag, and I made my choice towards black and red Burgundy one.
No ex zero?
I had the Bullit. It looks great but it was too noisy after 60 kph.
Good to know!
Should be wearing earplugs anyway
@@oscarma15 The thing is that installed an Intercom to communicate with my friends. As I said after around 60 the noise was enough to not be able to listen.
@TMKYCH Never even considered that haha. It's painfully obvious I have no biker friends
The opening is to wide. Also the 3 vents on the top whistle as soon as the visor is open. I have it for the daily city commute and got myself a HJC RPHA 70 for the highway and country roads. Is not super quiet but way more than the Bell
Saddly I don’t think bycity is available I
In Australia
Hi Jules! We ship worldwide :) - Iza
no Arai concept x ?
I asked the same question. Concept X is the real Arai retro helmet. I would also like to see the AGV X3000.
That green one looks to be from Power Rangers. 😄
I wish the Glamster was available in the US...
Hi! We do ship worldwide!
@@UrbanRiderlondon Do you have a good selection with DOT rated helmets for US?
Glamster not available in US :/
Hi Charlie. We do ship to the US! - Iza

@@UrbanRiderlondon That's awesome! But as a Shoei Dealer myself I would find it hard to pay retail+ ship+Duty. LOL!
Ex-zero?
no agv 3000 ? why :)
IMO the best-looking (affordable) retro helmet out there. I also like the Hedon Heroine a lot, but way too overpriced.
Often said that’s there’s no such thing as a perfect helmet and a balancing act between pros and cons. Trying to find a decent retro full face lid for the winter and longer trips, have tried several but always turned off by clumsy, noisy visors. Tried the Torc T-1 but a howler at 20-30 mph with visor up and Shoei Glamster fits well but also fails with clunky visor that’s either open or closed. The search goes on.
Need to talk about wind noise for retro helmets. Without that the review is not that useful.
Skip the Bycity and grab a Shoei EX-Zero.
which are available in the united states?
Hi, we can ship all styles to US!
Hard to follow his pronunciation of the names of a couple helmets.
Premier trophy?
I've heard good things about the trophy
Hi, what about wearing glasses?
Hi, most of the helmets will fit fine with glasses. - Iza
D-rings....
Those motorcycle helmets are decades behind bicycle helmets.
If you ride around with one of these darth vader helemts like the biltwell - grow up. you look silly.
Bycity is shit, have one starts to dismantle itself by its own... I would not recommend it, test one for a long review and see it for yourself.
