I was there in January! It was Beyond Awesomeness! Meeting fans from all over the world. 3 hours of epicness. Even the wife enjoyed the show. Oh, There was Drawing!!
I think this is one of the biggest venues in Tokyo. I was at this show and that auditorium is ENORMOUS! I felt sorry for the non-Japanese speakers in the audience because the intermission was long and hilarious.
I've always liked this song (I called it their AC/DC song, because of Kanami's airy pull-offs), but they took it to a new level, with this live version. They have an amazing ability to fine-tune their songs, over the years.
The earlier version was the MV that hooked me on Band Maid. This is their newer version. Difference, Miku!! The earlier version Miku was not "up to speed" to be featured. I love this version just because of Miku, her guitar work and of course her vocals which are Spot On!!!!
What a beautiful wall of sound that was. The whole band - as always - in peak form, but with extraordinary vocal parts. Saiki and Miku: a more than perfect duo.
Puzzle, is one of my favourite Band Maid songs. It reminds me of the term I use for most of Lovebites, songs, which is relentless. You left the room before I predicted at 3:18. I though probably around Kanami's solo. You are so fortunate to have seen them twice, plus get a shout out from the Band Maid ladies. Although I do have a favourite if any of them looked at me and called me by name, it would be a treasured memory for ever.
Kamani has such a Buddha like serenity when she plays this song. Pidgeon' back up vocals to Saiki hit the feels. Misa and Akane keep the beat and the groove going.

You missed their first Dallas show at the House of Blues. It was really small. It wasn't advertised. It was in The Cambridge Room on Kanami's 28th Birthday. I didn't see you there.
OK, I can remember Akane breaking drumsticks twice and having a "timing error" once (these are ALL of her miscues so far in any moment of 2023). (And the way Akane plays she could have committed a hundred errors and it would be as nothing stacked against the jaw-dropping brilliance of the rest of her work). So, other than the entirely negligible moments just noted, when is Band Maid not firing on all cylinders? (They don't have to "dumb-down" their live performances, since any of them committing a notable error qualifies as rare). Band Maid -- All Out All of the Time!!!!!
