    Thanks for this video I'm Cantonese, but ever since I moved to Australia and started speaking English, I lost most of my Cantonese knowledge and it's kind of hard talking in Cantonese and in highschool I don't have an option to pick Cantonese as a language, so this video really helped me ty again.

    It would really help if you showcase different Cantonese accents, like the Guangzhou accent or Macau accents as some of them sound like a whole different language to a non-native speaker.

    Hi. Your videos are so helpful. Thanks a lot. Would it be possible to repost this same video, but also include the jyutping?... That would help so much to learn these conversations!!!! Thank you for all the posts

      I think these dialogues are part of their paid product. So no way they would include the jyutping.

    Parabéns professora pelos videos. Seus vídeos são maravilhosos, mas gostaria de pedir a professora, se possível ter nos vídeos o pinyin do cantonês, ainda é um pouco difícil para iniciantes entender alguns ideogramas, não conheço todos ainda seria uma grande ajuda. Obrigada e parabéns pelos vídeos.

    what is the meaning of 闲日 and 平日?

    • @CantoneseClass101
      @CantoneseClass101  3 роки тому

      閒日 and 平日 are interchangeable in most cases, they refer to weekdays that are not a holiday.
      But note that sometimes 平日 means "normally" or "an average day" instead of the literal "weekday"

      Mandarin and Cantonese are two different Chinese dialects, although the writing system is quite similar, the speaking form are quite different, as you mentioned.
