I have to write hsb on Friday and I'm not even prepared. My parents wanted me to write it although I don't do it as a subject in school so now I have to resort to cramming on top of keeping up with my actual school work :/
Update: I actually ended up getting a one. Going through past papers and making notes (especially from paper 1's) really helped me.

I accept the answer given for question 4.
For item 54, I believe CXC made a mistake in suggesting that D is the correct answer. I think it should be C. Screening and sedimentation MUST take place before filtration.

It is well explained in the video. What is your answer?
The diagram indicates the movement of positive ions (particles of dissolved salts) across a membrane from an area of low concentration to an area of high concentration. Particles generally move from high concentration to low concentration so for this (the opposite) to happen energy is required. The process in which this takes place is called ACTIVE TRANSPORT. It could never be transpiration neither could it be osmosis, which is the movement of water.
I suggest you do some reading on the topic.
Is it possible that the paper can be a bit larger it's fine unable to see it clearly
