heyy ! I have a very similar art style to you however I often work in black and white , just in pencil , im looking to tart using markers , i got myself some prisma colour premiere double ended markers , however i am really stuggling in how to use them ? any tips ?? :)
Sorry for the late response, hopefully I have time soon to do some instructional videos. I basically try and focus in one area keeping stuff kind of wet to make blending easier. I try to move quickly between my colors.
thank you ! i've deffinity improved however the main colours i seem to only work are the easy ones, i think part of that though is that i only have 12 colours and they are all just basic, also found the colourless blender really helped! totally looking forward to more of your videos, your art is amazing ! also would love instructional ones ! ❤ thanks for the reply ! really appreciate it !
Yes unfortunately you can only stretch the blending so much. I like to have 3 of any color range, that's my rule of thumb. Sometimes I can get by if they all don't go perfectly together but yeah, the rule of 3.
Kyle Dunbar. so get basicky one light yellow , medium yellow and dark yellow basicly? .. i guess that makes sense.. haha do you buy packs or just single ? id imagine its almost easier to do singles ? :)
Tristan Calleja basically or like a brown ochre and yellow that go together. the problem with prismacolor is the color on the sticker doesn't even come close to the marker on paper. when I started with markers I got the 72 set I think ,and have added singles since then
Really awesome dude! Need to know what are you using at the end for the highlights? A white paint marker? I really love this kind of art and trying to do some pieces myself. Great tutorial and music too man. Getting that answer would help me a lot and trust me I'm not competition by any means lol...huge fan though. Thanks for the post!!
+Josh Fiebig Thanks, I'm going to try and do another soon. As far as specific colors go, I can't remember exactly. three different browns and red orange yellow for the eyes.
Creative Mustard Seed thanks my dude, it's hard to say. Art became my career in about 07. I've had my leaps in progress moments and my slower times. I should have a tutorial edited and posted in the next couple of days.

The difference between me and you is you are good at art
An artist will always be there own worst critic, but that's a good thing, it helps us improve.
Really awesome dude!

This is awesome man! What colours did you use for the skull and the eyes? Please keep making vids!
+Josh Fiebig Thanks, I'm going to try and do another soon. As far as specific colors go, I can't remember exactly. three different browns and red orange yellow for the eyes.
Awesome thanks heaps! A real time glimpse at your process would be really cool too! I love the textures that you achieve!
Dude, that looks so good! How long did it take you to learn to draw and color like that?
Creative Mustard Seed thanks my dude, it's hard to say. Art became my career in about 07. I've had my leaps in progress moments and my slower times. I should have a tutorial edited and posted in the next couple of days.
What type of pen did you use for the initial outline?
I used a couple pigma microns.
What kind of pencil do you use?
I don't use a pencil in this video. in general just a mechanical one
Rad bro
Thanks for watching, I hoping to record more soon.
Anyway you can list the colors used?
It's been too long. The blue leaves are probably brittany blue which I like a lot. the rose probably a dark red, crimson red, and scarlet lake
Good enough for me. least now I have a starting point lol
fucking cool!
Wow
which uses markers ?
Prismacolor brush tip markers.
thanks...
SP!
Bad Ass!
