Dana, the build is sick a/f... adding that bit of black to the clear coat was very smart, it looks fantastic even on camera. Thinking I may do that on my CF hood when the time comes. I've been wanting to get the Aero Catch latches for a while now, my hood just has the basic round pin set up & that shit rattles but if that kit was an actual Aero brand part, I'd say the quality is lesser than the no name brands on eBay. I'm surprised & disappointed in the quality control of Aero-Catch after seeing this they should sponsor you for the hassle & to earn back the trust of the community IMOP.

Those style latches are supposed to be panel bonded from the other side of the hood and then the latch is actually flush with the hood. Reason why the bolts are wrong and it came with the flanges, is because they're probably aerocatch reps but calling themselves "Aerocatch"
hey bro you could always go with a corner cap side bits for the rear bar as apposed to a full rear lip

Great work brother, It's was one of my dream cars here in Chicago but, here they are all rusted and crusty from the salt. Here they are not worthy of this type of rebuild as it would cost too much dinero.
