Just a tip, put your washi tape onto wax paper or kitchen parchment paper. Cut out your shape with your scissors. Then the washi peels right off!

If you color over the word memories with the blue then rewrite memories in white, that might help to break up the festive feel on that spread. 🤔
Regardless though, I love this theme. It's beautiful and unique. And a great way to use up some washi!
