- Bit of a clickbait title, but with Adam Woodyatt going on an extended break, at least six months apparently, and this being Ian's most definitive departure from Walford (however will he come back from this one?), I thought the addition of Julia's Theme (which the show seems to have all but abolished these days) alongside flashbacks to Ian's dearly departed wives, children and friends was apt for the occasion.
See you soon, Ian! We really love do to hate you!

I think when Adam Woodyatt decides to permanently leave the show or when Ian dies in the future. They should do a flashback, of his life, like this one.
This is well edited and I think this is what they should’ve done to the end of this episode. It’s so emotional to see Ian leave. He did return of course but it did feel like he left forever and it was his time to go. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye, especially when he thinks of the memories when living in Walford. It’s incredible. This is like saying “Goodbye Ian!”.
Ian goes from goody two shoes, to a villain and bad man to cross.he has bad luck then good luck,upsets many folk, but these flashback are amazing, and honest of the more happy times,also there's a nutter who gets on my bus shouting he hates ian beale,maybe he should join the cast, he's seems a great actor, imagine the storylines lol

As far as I'm concerned, Ian is dead. Sharon and Phil succeeded in their plot to kill Ian by poisoning him in retaliation for Denny's death and he's laying down dead somewhere in the UK succumbed to the poison Sharon put in his meal.
