      There are a few ways to do this but i found this way works with a short sling!

    I am soooo impatient to try this out.. I haven't been able to work out lately due to a medical procedure (can't force myself during recovery) I miss my aerial hammock, cant wait to get back on as soon as possible!

    Any tips for it to not squeeze my leg that hard?

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 роки тому

      By squeezing your leg muscles hard, keep it strong and tight. If it doesnt work, then doing more strengthen exercises will help!

      In step 4, I was having an issue where the fabric would slide up to my thigh crease, and tighten so much that I couldn’t comfortably replace my standing foot. Leaning back a little while bringing the leg down prevented the fabric from sliding all the way up and allowed me to replace my standing foot.

    Hi love , I have a question for you; how do you prevent hand slipping?

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 роки тому

      You mean from sweats or from grip strength? I dont sweat a lot so I just work on getting stronger grip strength

    • @lidijiang5389
      @lidijiang5389 4 роки тому

      aerialpractice without sweat my hand just slipping . So how do you work to make hands strong? Thanks

    • @aerialpractice
      @aerialpractice  4 роки тому

      @@lidijiang5389 HAHA! I really dont think my hands are strong, so you can notice in the aerialist floor workout that I have, I always tried to add some for grip strength (finger tips push up, fist push up, etc). I think its from practicing hoop and gym ring as well. My hands are getting rough from just working on regular holding positions and pull ups (i cant really do it yet still) it helps with my grip on the hammock. hope this helps!

      When you do the turns and bring your leg up and you wrap around at the beginning steps it’s kind of confusing about how you wrapped your Leg around Thanks for reading my comment

      I have to agree especially when you say things like “grab the hammock” again Because you have to hold on to the silks different ways with your thumbs in or sometimes with your thumbs out You have to be very specific
