I dont think this fangame sucks, the level design is because the based game was bad already, a graphical update wont change anything. Also the boss mugshots in the original DOS games were already reused from the famicom games. Still its a good way to experience MegaMan DOS if you dont want horrible sprites, controls and gameplay.
The level design here is absolutely nothing like the DOS level design. The DOS levels were sprawling, maze-like and packed with enemies (and none of them were classic enemies, either. It was stuff like rats.). This is entirely original level design.
The person making the really good looking remake that combines the two dos games made some good renames. Torch man is now weld man Wave man is now buoy man Oil man is fuel man And blade man became knife man
ALSO: Does the Japanese say monoton7? Edit: I got it slightly mixed up.. if it has the quotation mark thing in there it'd be do.. without should be to lol

I love how the intro cutscene seemingly implies that Mega Man is responsible for the rampage
