Silph, would like to suggest doing a Team Rocket Grunt Pokemon - only run. A change up from the monotype and it’d be interesting to see if you can take over the diff regions as a rocket grunt
I saw the challenge title, and was like "Pfft, of course he can win!"... but there were way too many tight battles for comfort. I mean, a Jynx almost defeated Mewtwo? Holy crap.
I could see a Platinum run with Giratina, or Gen 4 in general with Arceus being fun too. The Arceus could be really cool actually cuz you’d be unlocking new types as you go
I loved this take on the solo Pokemon challenge. Instead of can I beat x game with a Slugma, taking the hardcore nuzlocke with an OP legendary was a fun challenge to watch
You could try Mewtwo in other generations, Heart Gold/Soul Silver or Emerald. What could also be interesting is next doing a run with the Pokemon that caused Mewtwo the most difficulty. In this case a Firered run with Starmie, Exeggutor, and Jynx. Since those three caused Kanto's most powerful Pokemon the most trouble, how well could they take on the region?
Great video, but I can't be the only one that noticed he went past the level cap during the elite 4, and just cheekily changed the level cap to 63 on the graphic after Lorelei
Last week I did a Mewtwo only run on Fire Red (minimum battles, not nuzlocked). It was a lot of fun. Excited to watch this video, Mewtwo was my favourite pokemon growing up (after psyduck).
Wow that rain dance, mystic water and water pulse combo was amazing thinking! I was initially thinking that water pulse + type boost + 2x damage would be even less than STAB Psychic but yeah you beat me there.

Weird that Mewtwo can't learn all TM moves. I thought being able to learn all TM moves was Mew's biggest buff, and also thought Mewtwo had that ability too since he is a clone. Fascinating.
That crazy Jynx battle would actually be very ridiculous if it was done in the anime. Just imagine a exhausted Jynx slaping the face of a frozen Mewtwo refusing to die.
do a flying type only run in Kanto. WIth encounters like Charizard, Aerodactyl, and Dragonite, as well as dark horses like Dodrio, it would be a really cool run with all of the type diversity. You have flying, normal, bug, dragon, rock, fire, water, and electric and ice if you count the legendary birds
I recently did a Grass Type run in Brilliant Diamond… and the RNG you need for this run is crazy, there are only six encounters, Burmy is a Honey Tree Pokémon and can male, another one is a Great Marsh encounter… Galactic Fellows have so many Poison types…try it, it’s not too easy, this run made me like Roserade, the third Grass Type I like.
Confusion only does like 5-7% less damage than mega punch and considering it’s 100% accurate with a chance to confuse the opponent you might as well have just used confusion over mega punch
That’s the one cool thing about mew over mewtwo. Mewtwo may have an edge in power, but mew can learn every tm outside of a few very specific ones like draco meteor.

@silphspecter don't suppose you'd either be willing to do a Brilliant Diamond Flying only run, or maybe at least help me beat Roark. I've been stuck on him for about a month at this point, and you found a way to take out brock in fire red. Any advice would be welcome

Nice, you could even speedrun the runs, and use different legendaries from The same game and see each one finishes the game fastest. (taken idea but good one)
Hey buddy, i've got a challange for you, a hardcore nuzlocke challange in pokemon y: can you beat pokemon y by using only pokemon sky trainers use in the sky battles. If you aren't sure with pokemon they use during battle, you can look that up on pokewiki. No mega evolution allowed in this challange, also you play after normal hardcore nuzlocke rules. Pokemon y is an easy game for nuzlocking, so this challange might be possible, but if you struggle to beat it, you can use all pokemon you can use in a sky battle. This will be all flying typ pokemon an pokemon with Levitate ( catching the first pokemon of this kind per route and so on)
Cool challenge, it definitely looked harder than I thought it would be (though probably still easier than Kricketot/Feebas) Also, just throwin' this out there; you could've used Mew for your HM slave. I are disappoint.

That disable accuracy was a complete shock to hear. Since I never used it and early games the AI always seemed to hit it.
