I can’t get over this song like I really didn’t know some of these Cher songs until the show but this may be one of my favorites!

Unfortunately the version of "Living In A House Divided" from the Broadway musical "The Cher Show" sadly pales in comparison to Cher's superb rendition of the song.
@ Lance Lanny. I don't know why the great song, "Living In A House Divided" was not a #1 hit song for Cher, but it did well enough to be included on her greatest hits album during the 1970's.
@ Lance Lanny. I remember reading somewhere many years ago that record producer David Geffen (who I think dated Cher for a period of time) was not happy with the lyrics to the song, "Living In A House Divided".
@ Lance Lanny. As I recall the song, "Living In A House Divided" was originally on Cher's album titled "Foxy Lady" which was released during the early 1970's at about the time her marriage to Sonny Bono was breaking up. That's why the song is so sad because it reminds fans of Sonny and Cher of the dissolution of their marriage.
