This fragrance is so fresh, manly and a huge compliment getter. No matter how many good fragrances might be out there, this is a must have in any collection.
It's my most worn summer fragrance. The simplicity and the freshness makes it for me a perfect summer scent. It also one of my most complimented fragrances.
But what about the performance projection and lasting ?

This fragrance truly is the best wake up juice I own. It really shocks you with its freshness and makes you feel awake and ready for the day.
This is the fragrance that started it all for me. I got it right as I started college and was constantly complimented by my female friends to the point where they'd come up to hug me and tell me they just wanted to smell me. I will always have a bottle of this and hold it dear to my heart. I own about 45 bottles of fragrance now, but Versace Pour Homme was my first.

I wear this cologne everyday! It's my signature scent. I get compliments all the time and majority of people ask me what am i wearing.
They seem to love the clean sophisticated invigorating smell.

I am wearing VPH today. Likely inspired by this video. I also have Chanel Allure Homme Sport - Eau Extreme....but i keep that for more special outings.
I've been wearing this for years and versace man eau fraiche. both bangers. this is in the price range of most fragrances I buy. you niche heads miss out on great buys. expand your cheapie and affordable fragrance horizons my friend.
Great vid man! I live in Costa Rica where the weather is usually 80 to 90 degrees F all year around and Versace Pour Homme is one of my most worn fragrances in my collection. It's sooo versatile, amazing scent and a compliment magnet!!! Hands down one of the best fresh fragrances ever.

I still have a 2014 bottle of this and it smells great. I had a chance to buy the 6.7 oz bottle for $45 on eBay back then and didn't. I apply 5 sprays of VPH and one spray of Millesime Imperial to the chest = PURE MAGIC. I like VPH more than Chanel Allure Homme Sport. VPH is less creamy with a fresher smell. Women and men always compliment me on how good I smell when I wear it.
VPH is the bomb especially for the price vs. the Chanel for sure
VPH is easily my most complimented scent by ladies. In my coll. it beat the likes of Aventus, BdC, ADGP, YSL L'Homme (my fav.) etc.
really? i only got one comment from the sister of my gf that i smell "weird". i wore it in the winter though. maybe not the best time for that fragrance.

Wore this one in the 00’s. Got a good deal on a tester early this year so I picked it up again. Forgot how good it is. Versace Man Eau Fraiche is a good one too, but I think I prefer Versace Pour Homme over it,

Great review bro. I could not agree more, VPH is a FANTASTIC fragrance! I love love love this. It's fresh and very masculine. In this age of sweet gourmand arguably feminine skewing fragrances, VPH stands apart. It perfectly suits my vibe. Casual? VPH. Wearing a suit? VPH. Not necessarily what I'd wear for clubbing (although you could), maybe not for date night (although you could), but for ALL other occasions? VPH babyyyyyyy!
Should be a staple in every guys wardrobe !

Haha VPH is hall of famer. If they made EDP of it. Try Salvatore Ferragamo Urban Feel - I feel it's underrated & better blended genre of Versace Dylan Blue.
I love VPH but when its swelteringly hot and humid, the mid and dry down become just a bit too cloying to me ... Otherwise, great fragrance and have had many compliments from women ... they love it and just want to keep smelling you :))

good summer scent but SMW will always be king
Notes include musk. Is it overpowering and musky like dylan blue? Honestly can’t stand Dylan blue it’s too much for me
How is the projection and longevity on you guys? I’m not sure if I should buy this fragrance.
I did 4-5 sprays for work and coworkers 6 feet away could smell it! I think it projects good for 1st hour but mellows out and stays on the skin for 5-6hrs total for me. Performs way better then most fresh scents. Also wore outdoors for bbq with a bit of a breeze and certain people could smell it from across the way. Waiting to try dolce and Gabanna intense but right now Versace is my favorite summer scent by far!!

Versace Pour Homme and Acqua Essenziale Blue by Salvatore Ferragamo are my all-time favourite blue fragrances. Not a surprise, considering the fact that both were done by the master himself, Alberto Morillas.
How is performance for both?
@@ComicmanImaginator For VPH, it lasts about 7 hours and projects for 3 on my skin (I got my bottle way back in 2011) but for AEB, only lasts for 5 and projects for about1 but a great scent.
Great fragrance. Very uplifting on the opening, love to smell it. Longevity for me isn’t that great. It will be something that I’ll always keep in my collection regardless.
I have a similar experience to you with this scent. I got it a couple of months ago as a blind buy after hearing so many good things about it. After trying it I can say this. This is the best summer fragrance I have in my collection (aside from L'homme ideal which I use sparingly). Very similar to Chanel Allure Homme Eau Extreme but fresher and more citrusey. Performance is very good on me and projection is above average which I don't mind really. My only regret with this one is that I got the 50ml bottle. Other than that, an excellent blind buy in my opinion. Once my bottle runs out, I'll get the 200ml bottle. It's that good.

it is in between Chanel Allure sport and Bleu de Chanel. For me, this smell has become "typical" men's smell in which I compare everything to. A "standard" smell on men.
I have it in my wish list but have to smell it more to decide if I'll pull the trigger. Have some great Summer fragrances already so not that I need yet another one right now :) My Summer rotation:

The tonka is not super noticeable in here. So not a problem at all

@@benshaw7660 Chanel's just has a slight creaminess to it, which is missing from the Versace. This makes the Versace a little bit more crisp & the Chanel a little bit more smooth. There's really not much in it though.

@@benshaw7660 I personally don't find the rose note off putting. It pretty much sits in the background. I think most people wouldn't be able to tell it had any rose in it at all, just us folk who smell a lot of fragrances.
Chanel will always be higher quality than Versace, as they spend more money on ingredients & allow the perfumer more time to create it than Versace (which doesn't necessarily mean anyone will like them more). The creaminess comes from the vanilla (which isn't in Versace's) & more tonka used in Chanel's.

I’ve gotten 2 unsolicited compliments on this within the last month. It’s a great fragrance, but the longevity and projection after the first hour is garbage. In my opinion

I get 4-5 hours easy.
I stick to my J.Bogart Silver Scent Pure as my summer Scent this year, almost went thru 50 ml so far. Its a cheap beast gem! Might check out VPH next year 😏

I like a lot of cheap fragrances more than Versace pour homme. It's slightly above average. Give me Issey Miyake or Nautica Voyage or even Tommy Hilfiger cologne or Acqua di Gio. Heck even Ferrari Bright Neroli is better. All cheap and amazing summer scents.

Yes me too. The longevity is not there for me.
I thought this was massively overrated. My wife seems to like it, but I thought it was about as plain as it gets. The lemon didn't feel refreshing to me, more like lemon cleaner. Then all I get is neroli and a tiny bit of the supporting notes. It's quite airy and sour, no real depth. Could use some tonka or something slightly sweet to round it out. I gave my bottle away.

For sure rather allure homme sport ! For having both but this one is a super nice freshy... i feel longevity might vary a little but i think it is a minimum 4 hours solid depends... this kind of fragrance you need to APPLY like solid 4 sprays. It is an EDT afterall 😁 good day guys!

I'm still on the fence with this one. I really haven't found a Versace fragrance that I like (tried eau fraiche, it's simply 'meh')... I think I'll go for Dior Eau Sauvage in the Summer.
If I consider Eau fraiche and dylan blue "very synthetic" (not in a good way ofc) should I give a possibility to this one?
Sauvage is like a more synthetic Dylan blue that hits you harder. It’s good imo.
