Are you using Visual Studio over WSL or MSYS2? I have heard that WSL2 doesn't support a serial connection to the ESP32.

waste of time. as usual microsoft pushes something to sell you in their presentations. Azure IOT instead of just explaining how the cool and what can be done.

Yeah, what little info is here was obfuscated by a thick accent and some vibrant diversity. He even pulled a Todd Howard "it just works", word for word. Having developed on this platform now, I can say it's a big leap, confusing packages, samples, and frameworks that all sound the same at first, and not the best API
