I think the reason 173 was successful in cornering 682 is because most of 682's abilities require him to be conscious to work. While 682 could heal from a broken neck, the reason he was probably scared was because he had been temporarily vulnerable. There would be little 682 could do to adapt to Saitama, bar just turning into some sort of indestructible rock...in which case, that's just not losing, not winning. Moreover, in the Awakened Garou fight, Saitama proves that he has an even more outlandish adaptability factor than 682.
All in all, I think Saitama would be the only human 682 respects, because he is the embodiment of what 343 tried to convey to 682 as to why he loved humans: Their potential.

The Foundation has also created a machine with an AI that can destroy concepts themselves(SCP-6820). And 682 managed to temporarily overpower it and completely possessed it. Yeah, 682 is winning no concept of diff.
Knowing Saitama, he'll punch the air and create a portal and escape the Phantom Zone.
And this plan has that possibility in mind. Only as a temporary means to a greater plan.
Doomsday has done exactly this, so it's 100% doable for Saitama.

Saitama is pretty easy to understand, he's impossible to beat physically, he cannot lose on the long term, and will adapt.

The simulated reality plan is the only one that might work. It wouldn't be hard to get him into one, just make it a large building that says "Grocery Sale" outside and he'll walk in without a fuss. Then just simulate the real world and keep him unaware of the fact that he's in a simulation. Give him money, food and a decent place to live with weak monsters to fight every so often and he may go his entire life never noticing that he's in a simulated environment. The problems that I can see happening is someone like Genos breaking in and telling Saitama about the simulation or Saitama accidently using so much strength that he breaks the simulator.

Even if they DID have a chance to slow him down, Batman didn't take into account that Genos lives with Saitama, and even if he can't hope to match his master's power, he's still quite protective of Saitama. He'd surely notice the nanites and dispose of them somehow before Saitama could drink the 'beverage.'

Easy strategy: announce a huge sale. When Saitama runs off to get stuff on the cheap, have Supes or other heroes deal with the monster or criminal threat before he returns. With no monster around when he gets back (if he even bothers) he will get bored and go home.

It's just carried by his insurmountable strength.
Onto the speed bit though. He does indeed have infinite speed and I'll explain why. So during the fight against God Garou in the manga, he was capable of punching so fast that he was able to shift causality so that he could strike in effectively negative seconds so that Garou couldn't dodge. Not to be mistaken with the time travel technique that Garou showed him how to do at the end of their fight. You are however, correct that Saitama DOES have a base strength and it only starts to increase when he's fighting an opponent that's stronger than him until he becomes too powerful and gets bored, which makes his power stop rising. Based on the attacks that Garou delivered which destroyed star systems in one kick, then I'd say the fairest estimate Saitama grew from that fight is likely galaxy level. Though his speed being able effect causality and in this instance, time, is what gives him that level of speed. It's not just a claim that comes from nowhere.
@@monkeybomb1232no they quite literally show it as a means to describe how Saitama had outgrown Garou's level of power and he exceeded him so far that he got bored and stopped increasing in strength because Garou was no longer a challenge. Garou at one point WAS more powerful than Saitama, but then he started to win, and then surpassed him. His potential IS limitless, but he has to be in a position where he wants it. The whole narrative of his story is that he's an adrenaline junkie who wants to have the greatest thrills of his life through combat and now he's too strong, which is why they hint at the idea as if he had found it, only to slam him back down to square one again.
Saitama would probably be cool with being sent to the Phantom Zone, because it would mean having a lot of strong opponents to fight. Once he finishes with them, he'd get bored and breakout, so it would only be a temporary solution. The best way to deal with him is to get him on your side and to do that, all you need is to give him money without a catch, and he'd be happy. Either that, or have him join the Justice League since he is a hero, and having that kind of strength on your side would be very beneficial. Nobody would ever be a threat to Earth again, and Batman could rest easily with somebody else there to deal with the majority of problems coming his way.
If you think Wonder Woman has no weaknesses then you’re a in huge trouble dealing with saitama. As of now saitama has no known weaknesses.

Saitama has had two enemies leave scratches on him. One a normal cat, and another some kind of cat person. He also had one enemy he failed to hurt: a bug. Specifically a mosquito. By combining Saitama's offensive and defensive weaknesses together, Batman created the one enemy capable of stopping him: Catbug.
Nyan didnt actually hurt him. The scratch marks were only to show where he Tried to attack. No actual damage was made.

His only weakness is that he can be moved from one place to another. Boros knocked him to the moon. Suiryu almost knocked him outside the ring in season two. The trick is to send him somewhere he can’t escape. The phantom zone is a pretty good idea.
He can be moved, but he ALSO can move to where he needs/wants to.
Saitama power GROWS when a challenge to be solved or dealt with appears and his current power level is lacking.
Give Saitama reason to power up to escape from even the most inescapable dimension/domain/reality and HE WILL.
So the challenge is how you keep him in said place when he is shown to have both an ok brain in that head, and a tendency to end at the right place at the most critical time before the worst ending possible and twart it.

Saitama has an infinite potential, like when he fought Garou. If he's push hard, he'll just become as strong as he needs to be (it starts slow but the grow is exponential). He will just punch doomsday harder each time for as long as he can.

The plan is good, but bringing him to the king of hell doomsday might be the answer. Either Doomsday adapts, and evolves to kill Saitama or they will fight Saitama kills Doomsday, Saitama is forced to face all of hell, and Doomsday returns completely immune to Saitama’s attacks, and they will battle until Saitama dies. (and possibly remain in hell)

@@renamon303 Garou is the worst copying prodigy in fiction, comparing him to Doomsday (the being that was made to adapt to kill anything and to become immune to anything) is laughable. Not to mention Doomsday already faced foes far stronger than current Saitama who at best is galaxy-level.
Dooms day is only immune to that level of attack. What happens if that attack potency increase? Saitama can increase his level of attack. Dooms day will just keep on dying repeatedly. Saitama can also adapt and grow non stop. Doomsday doesn’t return immediately but by the time he comes back saitama is beyond that level already.

If he was killed by the same thing, he would come back faster, that's why he was revived faster than the first time Superman killed him, also Superman was forced to find different ways to kill or get rid of doomsday. Which formed a lot of OP versions of doomsday.

Been a while since i agreed with one of these kudos.
The most terrifying thing about Saitama is the fact that the only reason the whole world hasn't been completely decimated under him is because of his need to be a hero and need to be an ordinary person in his spare time. He restrains himself as much as possible because he doesn't want to hurt people that aren't monsters.
If he were a villain however, then all of that would be thrown out the window and there would be no force in almost any dimension that would stop him. Even Batman's contingency plans would be almost ineffective.
