I can't imagine anyone wanting to ride the ride after that happened. There should not have been any way to adjust the safety settings on it. If a person couldn't fit or if they were over the weight limit, the ride should not have been operable. That said, I hope that there is a memorial for Tyre Samson placed there. Such an awful tragedy. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
There was no reason whatsoever to tear down the ride. It was %100 a human error and could have been easily avoided. The ride was still %100 safe after the accident. It could have used a weight requirement instead of tearing the ride down.
Someone died there because of dumb negligent workers operating that ride.. I wouldn’t wanna get on anymore knowing that those people working that ride don’t care about me properly being strapped in and someone died bc of it. Idk why you’d be comfortable sitting in his seat. His dad had said that no other ride let him on BUT this one because of his weight so there they are happy cause he can finally enjoy a ride all for it to end in a tragedy.
This was in no way the ride's fault and should have not been torn down, that kid exceeded the weight limit (this was not his fault, he didn't know), he and his friends even mentioned before the ride started his restraint didn't lock completely and the operator ignored them. The operator needs to be charged with negligence. I feel so sorry for that kid and his family.
This was such an unfortunate situation. My heart goes out to the family in their loss, however, the notion that a memorial be placed there as a constant reminder is a bit much. The reminder, in my opinion, was the removal of this massive structure, which will never be enjoyed at this location again. Hopefully, this incident will inspire better accommodations for our larger-sized ride enthusiasts, which would go hand-in-hand with stepped-up safety measures. This whole incident could have been prevented had everyone (including the rider) followed the measures to ensure proper safety. This is not to blame Tyre, for he paid the ultimate price. The operator holds the responsibility (as they should for not properly monitoring nor enforcing the size/weight restriction). It appears they have taken the proper steps to allow closure for the family. I hope the family can find peace while they honor Tyre's memory, may he rest in peace.
I feel like the ride should not have been taken down because it wasn't the ride it was the boy's weight and height that was the problem and if the signs by the ride had been read by the boy and his friends they would have avoided this tragedy all together. I feel sorry for the parents and friends of the lost of their child and friends but why ruin the fun of other thrill seeker's who want to have fun. He was over a the weight requirement and all they will do is have the ride rebuilt later in a different park.
the ride being gone is perfectly fine 😂 there’s another down the street at universal studios and one in tampa. you “thrill seekers” will be just fine 🙄
I’m so glad the ride is finally torn down and gone, I’m glad Tyre’s parents got their wish to get that ride torn down and be gone for good! my heart still goes out to his parents i hope you get peace now that the ride is gone. REST IN PEACE TYRE you will never be forgotten. make a touch down in Heaven 🏈☁️
It was not the ride’s fault. It was the employee. And the father too, for raising an overweight teen at risk of dying because he couldn’t fit a damn fun ride. If the employee had refused the ride would be sued for discrimination.

He was to fat
Anyone that understands how rides work would ride it. Again anyone with any knowledge on how restraints work and why he fell would still ride it

Not in a society that thrives on litigation.

STFU. Yipur family would have sued also@@RedRaiderLobo20

So many peoples joy will be ruined. No need to dismantle the ride. It wasn’t the rides fault. Very ignorant.
this ride wasn’t unique. plenty others like it in the world. you’ll be okay 🙄
@@Snaomib It was the world's tallest drop ride 430 feet, so technically it was unique.
Smh. Removing it could have been avoided.
Unless it was a little white kid right? Then y'all would want it to be a memorial
