I am currently in my final year of LLB, i am one of your followers. Over time i have learnt to take initiative of my legal career by being interactive and willing to learn. I have applied this principles by volunteering myself when i have to take up roles in the LLB programme like moot court, i have been fortunate enough to even be presented with an opportunity to represent my university in moot competition to be held in Cairo Egypt this year July. One thing i learnt from this LLB programme is that i was able to learn from my own mistakes, i am greatful my university was able to present me with an opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them.
Wonderful feedback on what opportunities you have been afforded just by taking initiative. It really helps you grow and gain skills through the process. Never give up with that attitude to learn and advance in your career, because it will certainly open door for future advancement as well.
Hi Bohlale, thanks for sharing this content. And you are absolutely right, taking initiative gives one an edge in the workplace. Keep the content coming. I'll be recommending this video to the business owners I work with on their talent management needs.
This is the sort of content I need in my life. Thank you very much. I am taking away the part where I need to learn things in context. I need to take initiative and continue working on my confidence.
Yasss…always be curious abbot why you are doing what you are doing, and what happens thereafter!!! Once you know that it makes it easier to take initiative and do the next step…without being asked!!! 🙌🏾💯 then watch people change how they interact with you…you become a valuable resource!!! 🤓😉 just like that!!
Hi Sis Bohlale, ive been to 2 interviews this year but I feel like I let myself down,I get so nervous when I go for an interview and I even forget what I need to say,and it makes me feel bad.I have another one coming soon and I don't know where to start. And I feel I have the relevent experience for the job,but expressing myself is a problem....please help.😢
Hi Agnes, email me on info@bohlalepaile.com. I do offer a service of preparing people for interviews and we go through a mock interview as part of the preparation. I find that when you have prepared adequately it does help with the nerves quite a bit...so let me help you.
