My favorites are easily the magic plus and megaflare. Cuz I like AOE attacks

Flap lets you dodge Fira / Firaga if I remember right.
Mug gets negated by Barrier but I'm not sure if he still steals something regardless.
Charge can hit multiple times and if it does it causes lv. 3 crash.

If Mug hit a barrier, you don't steal anything but the barrier fade, so the two abilities negate each other.

And yes, Flap lets you dodge fireballs. It's its only utility if you use flap as a flying character if I'm not mistaken.

@@Merry_Haddock Dumb miscellaneous fact. One of the Jack / Cactrot runners has a better reverse speed. I think it was Jack.
Cactrot also appears on the map before you unlock all the stages. Once you do you don't get to see it anymore. Neat little detail.
Spin out there's a technique to gain a speed boost too.

Not really, charging is very slow and easily countered by Megaflare or third level magic stone.
