Thank you. I'll bet you could find some great stuff at the places you visit, but detecting there is probably off limits. Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it.
That was for VDI numbers only, not an in-ground test. I get nervous if I have to bury my gold coins. LoL. Gold rings up like pull tabs, so dig everything to get everything. Happy Hunting.
Not being rude Mike but couldnt you have done that with the 800 or even the 600? I found a nice heavy 14K gold chain with the AT Max using the storm coil about 3 yrs ago. Sorry but air tests dont prove anything unless if you swing at park grounds for surface finds. . Soil depth and mineral composition has big effect on signals. But then again i dont swing anymore, formerly known as Clarksville Diggers. Prepping & food storing has taken a lot of my time these days. Keep digging in dirt, one day you find the mother load my friend.
The test was only for VDI numbers using a new machine. It was not a depth test. Craig had a Nox800, I can link up with him and do an in- ground test using the same coins in the near future. Thank you for your comment.
The larger the coin, the the higher the VDI reading. Is the gold content the same in all coins? I have a 900 and no gold of any kind found yet. Thanks.
I am still debating with myself whether or not I will bury my gold coins for a test. LoL. I might wrap them in some cling wrap or something. The purpose of this video is simply for VDI numbers, not a depth test.
@@OMYAB_Adventures the point was that a gold object... coin, ring, etc would give different readings depending on what mode you are using. And you are correct... dig it all to get it all.
Hi new sub here, Brun Free sent me. 🦘🇦🇺I have a 900 and this was exactly what I was looking for thank you 🙏 I have a permission site where I now have a better chance to pick up my first gold sovereign 🤞😊
This video is only for VDI readings for the different modes of the Equinox900. It is not intended to be a depth test.
you should turn the sensitivity down next time so its only picking up gold and nothing else. 25% power would be fine and more accurate for the VDI.
Thank you for the video btw, there's not much info on the VDI numbers for the 900. It's appreciated.
Watching here my friend, sending love and support.I enjoyed watching your video.Have a great Day.thank you for this amazing video.
Thank you for taking the time to watch, I really appreciate your support.

Great Test Thank you for sharing
Not a lot of beating around the bush... just getting straight to the test.

I truly appreciate your support and I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Interesting readings. No telling what I've missed ignoring jumpy signals.

Howdy Mike🍻hope all is good with you👍💗👍

Enjoy searching
Thank you Beth 🥰
EXACTLY what I wanted to see!! THANKS!
Thank you, I'm glad you found it useful
Awesome demonstration, Mike, I'm glad you're enjoying the 900!❤
I'm getting used to it. It is the perfect beach machine.
Nice Nox! That is quite a collection of gold coins you have there!
Thank you very much. They are my long-term investment. LoL
Very Cool demonstration !
🪙🤤👍
Thank you, much appreciated
Very cool I own gold pieces but I have never found one
I found some gold when panning in NC, but not yet found any gold coins with the detector. A few gold rings, but not coins.
Yeah yeah gold coins but all I’m really thinking is that you UPGRADED!!! Way to go on getting a 900!
Indeed I did. The AT Pro is an excellent land machine but I needed something for salt water beaches. The Nox900 was the obvious choice.
Any chance of doing a video on the 900 with gold jewelry, rings, chains, pendants, etc?
Yes, absolutely. I will do in-ground tests with gold and silver rings, necklaces and pendants.

guess I gotta start digging those low numbers....and collect more foil, nails, and other trash. Thanks for the video.
You have to dig it all to get it all. I hope you find something very nice.

these were just air tests on gold coins. I plan to do another video using silver and gold jewelry on a salt water beach very soon.
I will enjoy watching that. Thanks from the UK.@@Metal-Detecting-NC
Cool coins to be able to test!
This was for VDI numbers only. I was not going to bury my gold coins to do a depth test
Hello there my friend
Hello Beth. Thank you for sending your friends to my channel.
Well, that’s good for surface gold. Hey, I know, why don’t you bury those coins about a foot deep and…….

@MetDetNC oh yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want to dirty these beautiful gold pieces.
You should do the same with the frequencys 4 to multi.
very nice and very clear thanks for sharing.... new sub from beth vergara
Thank you very much for your support. I hope you enjoy the content.
So essentially gold comes into at quite a few different ranges with thw numbers so we're just gonna have to dig it all

Saludos cordiales y un gran abrazo desde chile para usted compañero 🙋♂️🇨🇱🙏⛏️🗝️🤝👍
Gracias mi amigo. 👍
Great job Mike thanks for sharing. I usually use beach 2 on the beach with my 800 as it hits better on gold 👋👍
A buddy of mine with a Nox800 dug a 1 at the ocean. It ended up being a thin gold chain. Dig everything
@@Metal-Detecting-NC yes I have dug gold on 1 and 2 before
@@TeamLynchBMD Most people don't understand that a low signal can indicate gold

Thank you. I really hope you find some of that beautiful shiny stuff.
Mike you just won't look right without the AT Pro in your hands!
I use the AT Pro on land, but I needed a good salt water beach machine. The AT Pro does not like salt water wet sand at all.
