Consider that K. Lumsy told us that K. Rool gave his boss keys to his toughest generals... Either K. Rool saw this cardboard cutout of himself, (Still unfinished, mind you) and thought it badass enough to warrant guarding a cell key, or he just gave it to a handful of kremlings who realized they now must fight the kongs with everything they've got and they panicked and threw this together on the spot
Considering the opening cinematic to this boss fight we see the kremlings put the pieces of the cutout together. I'm leaning towards, they just meshed something together. They did think their engineering would work. (same kremlings as we see equipping armadillo rematch with a cannon.) But when it broke apart, they panic.
It's also my headcannon that theese 2 kremlings are the ones steering the wheel, AND the judges for the arena. They saw with their own eyes what the Kongs were capable of.
I know this is meant to be a hilarious abrupt shift from Creepy Castle, but this boss still kinda terrified me back then. Mostly because of how overly loud it sounds. Even in this remix!
This is the exact type of chaoticness I wanted to see from a remix of this boss, and that artwork is astounding! You’ve done a great job throughout all these years, keep it up!
Awesome! Fav DK64 boss and theme, easily. I like your use of the traditional-styled cutout, if they ever remade this game they should keep it like that too. It just fits the Kremlings putting this hastily together, like a bootleg K Rool. I'd also like the 'ghost' Kremlings to be catapulted from KKO and use their sheets as parachutes... This game has so much remake potential!
That's so true, this game is so perfect and really deserves more attention, it's sad that Donkey Kong is such a forgotten genre.. imagine if rare hadn't been bought by microsoft, we might have seen Donkey Kong Contry 4, Banjo-Threeie and Metroid Prime 4 :(
@@demigods3559 Honestly, in a world with Crash Bandicoot's remakes and sequel (owned by Activision which is now owned by Microsoft) and where Banjo has joined Smash, they'd have to be naive to ignore this IP. Plus Banjo-Kazooie was released on Switch Online, and Crash on the Switch. Diplomacy can be stronger than exclusivity!
@@PhantomV13 yeah true on K. Rool and Banjo joining smash that was pretty awesome, and Microsoft's Rare has made Sea of Thieves which otherwise prob. wouldn't have happened but i feel like if Rare had survived in it's original form we would have already seen so much more..
It's since my N64 broke that I don't play this game, even on the emulator. But listening to this make me a bit nostalgic; I really need to play this game again. Nice art as usual, it's almost like how I imagined it. Keep going man, you're still the N°1 👏
Man this is so epic, I remember that fight like it was yesterday. I've been replaying DK 64 with your remixes in the background lol Excellent work my friend! 😎🎉
Such an epic remix, i love the varying between slow and fast and his voicelines cut in there work so well :D Nice work on King K. Rool again, i hope he returns for the next Donkey Kong Game! It's been so long...
You have improved your skills over the course of the years, looking back at the original which you still recorded with fraps and 30 sec clips ^^" Bin seit fast Anfang an dabei ^^ I've followed you for almost the entire time ^^
Oh thank you so much!! Yeah since I learned all thi stuff regarding music on my own I wanted to ask for some feedback from more advanced people :) Glad you like my work!
Love the change in tempo! It gives it a very unique feel compared to your first remix of it. Kut Out was definitely my favorite boss of the game, and surprisingly difficult. But why on earth is a giant standee shooting Fireballs! 😆
Oh my god I’m FINALLY getting the urge to play this again! I had 4 more Golden Bananas in my first play-through on my N64 and it wasn’t until I was 17 that I came back, GOT those bananas, got that Stupid Nintendo Coin and kicked K. Rool’s ass!

One of the cheapest and yet at the same time brilliant bosses Rare has created.
Had the same thoughts about him 🤣
Gotta love how terrified Lanky is, considering he's about to be launched into the void
It gives you the idea that you can fight as another kong if you miss as Lanky. That's the unique part (but you'll start over if you miss as Diddy)
I love that they literally made a cardboard cutout a boss 😂
Yeah thats a funny idea for sure 😁
What an interesting take with the instruments consisting changing.
Thank you😁
Probably my favorite boss in this entire game, and a great track too!
thank you :)

Cool idea man! Thanks for your nice words 😊 a remake would be so cool
I love how you add the boss sound effects to your remixes
yeah most of the time it adds some more texture :D

Absolute masterpiece, both the artwork and the remix. Definitely an instant favorite! Keep up the great work :)
Thank you so much! Glad you like my work! 😊
Not too scary as I remember him to be, but still conquered my childhood fears years ago!
Thank you! 😊
I am not scared I am just pissed off from this boss
I would understand if this boss kinda terrified you back then. Mostly because of the overly loud voice.
Wow this is amazing music right there and depends that’s giant king k rool jumps up and scare the life out of you haha
Thanks man 😊
Eeeeeeeeeeepic🙌
Incredible work! The urgency, wacky KutOut screams, instrumental hops! All glorious, one of my favorite DK 64 remixes already.
Ohh thats so nice of you my friend! Thanks a lot 😊
Man this is so epic, I remember that fight like it was yesterday. I've been replaying DK 64 with your remixes in the background lol Excellent work my friend! 😎🎉
Thats a cool idea 🤣👌 thanks for your feedback!
This is by far my favorite boss music in the game.
My good sir, you do not disappoint. You are brilliant.
😍🙏
Great job again! Love the art to and how the arms are taped on. I love how weird this boss is, and the noises it makes are great.
Yes some small details 😁 thanks a lot red!
Seeing this and the 1st decade old version is really impressive, good job :D
Thanks 😊
Such an epic remix, i love the varying between slow and fast and his voicelines cut in there work so well :D Nice work on King K. Rool again, i hope he returns for the next Donkey Kong Game! It's been so long...
Thanks my friend 😊 yeah I wonder when we will see him as a enemie again
Amazing!!!
As a question, you think you'll ever do a updated remix of mad jack / frantic factorys boss?
Hey there :) I did 2 versions of the mad jack boss battle already. They are a little older but you should find them by a search on my channel.
One of the best if not the best boss theme in this game, love it 💦
I like the pufftos battle quite much as well tho 😊
@@AstrothSounds Yaaah, that solo flut is something out of this world too 🙈
I like how this is quite different from the original (i like it so much better this is amazing)
This is absolute fire! I love it! Amazing as always! ❤️
Thank you so much 😊
I'm liking this msuic. Playing DK64 was one of my fondest memories growing up.
Same here 👍
This might be the finest take on that boss theme I’ve seen. Continue the great work. ❤️
Omg! This was my favvvv boss. You did a marvellous job!! :-)
Thanks a lot ☺️

Your music is soo good! I'm glad that you posted your channel in Vector U's discord, this is awesome! :D
Oh thank you so much!! Yeah since I learned all thi stuff regarding music on my own I wanted to ask for some feedback from more advanced people :) Glad you like my work!
This will make a good cover for any Goosebumps (Gänsehaut) book.
That could work 🤣👌
@@AstrothSounds IKR ? 😁
I remember being really scared of his laugh when I was little lol
Yeah that was quite scary back then. :D
Love the change in tempo! It gives it a very unique feel compared to your first remix of it. Kut Out was definitely my favorite boss of the game, and surprisingly difficult. But why on earth is a giant standee shooting Fireballs! 😆
Yeah thats the question 😁 but makes it even more weird 🤣 thanks a lot Ryan
You perfectly translate my many many rage quits as I played in donkey Kong 64 as child on n64 mobile emulator in school to music........
Amazing remix!!
Thanks mate 😁
I wonder who laughs more in their boss fights:
Army Dillo or this guy? 😆
ok i like this, not as intense as the original, but this is nice, kinda reminds me of the Puftoss remix you made
Thanks for your feedback :)
i never came that far in DK64 but ooooh well
Love it
Thanks!
Awesome Remix Your other King Kut Out Remix is 10 Years Old I feel a Bit old
yeah I get that :D thanks a lot!
Perfect!!!
thanks a lot!

Yes took me some years as well to complete the game :D
@@AstrothSounds how would you feel if they did the impossible and remade the game?
@@kanohu8983 If they do it the proper way a dream would come true :D what do you think?
Me seeing this for the first time is like YOU CALL THISS A BOSS BATTLE!!!??
just finished DK 64 101%

It’s definitely better than v1
