    I can’t be the only one that already knew the majority of these little know facts.

      Ohhh. One of my FAVORITE "little known 'Historical Facts'" I heard on one of these kinds of videos was someone (I have to assume they were homeschooled and is maybe in their first year of ACTUAL high school or maybe even college & they are just in AWE. OF. EVERRRYTHIIIIING..?!)
      ... for example, uhh. Joan of Arc. Yes, the fact that there was INDEED a teenage French girl who lead an army then was burned as a witch almost half a millennia ago was apparently just MIND BLOWING to a certain individual... I couldn't stop chuckling like, WHO doesn't KNOW THIS?!?! what is WRONG with people, gahh.
      I guess it STILL just never ceases to amaze me how stupid people are... 🤢🤮

      Every "little known fact" posted on Reddit is in fact very common trivia among people who like to read on occasion. The average reddit user is about as deep as a puddle and will keep regurgitating the same pablum over and over and over for the internet points. Everyone on reddit is perpetually stuck in "beginner-intermediate" phase of basically anything, and right around the time they gain enough knowledge to get past that point, they become much more interested in the the parasocial garbage that is the true focus of reddit, and instead just keep peddling entry-level slop for validation from the other smoothbrains on there

    The recycling plastic thing is true. Not that it is just to expensive to sort the plastic and make new things of it which be lower in quality anyway, but here in Germany we relay in Rubish-propelled Powerplants to ged rid of it, and create heat and electricety. The rubish has an low energy content anyway while it also have a relative high wather content. When they started to recycle plastic in early 90s, they had to start fiering aditional Gas , or even buy rubbish from other countrys to keep them running. Made it much more expencive

    For the 15th one you got to blame the British museum and Smithsonian for history being loss, also there may be more groups of historians that have erased history and or hidden it

    2:31 - story 4 - Nice! The ancients called it "the grand illusion", and claimed that people are not actually rational, but "compelled to pursue their karma" - so only people with good karma seem rational, while people with excess bad karma are known as NPCs. Now, the ONLY valid way to get rid of bad karma is via suffering (there may be some rituals too, but their ingredients and requirements make them unfeasible). The good news that such suffering can be 100% voluntary - just stand up and raise your hands - the pain will begin at 2 to 7 minutes in depending on how healthy you are, while the process of actual cleansing will start from the 28th minute - noticeable changes can be felt from as little as 2 accumulated hours of cleansing, provided one refrains from any and all intoxicants.

      @@visions91 How can you be sure that it was all the bad karma you had? If you have learned from that experience and manage to NOT repeat the same mistakes, then yes, all the bad karma related to that set of decisions has been destroyed.
      Now, that you mention it: The ancients claimed that sexual attraction and the desire to have sex are the shackles that bind us to this world, as in "for those, who had managed to conquer their sexual desires, the doors of Liberation become wide open".

    • @user-mn9wc5ru5w
      @user-mn9wc5ru5w Місяць тому

      I doubt you'll see this, but does that imply that those who are truly of rational mind have already fulfilled their suffering and should logically no longer suffer anything that isn't voluntary? This is a curious thing for me, because I've suffered in the last few years in some ways that I legitimately believe to be worse than virtually anyone I know personally, and although the processes I've gone through have made me deeply introspective and rational about the world around, I feel like my suffering is still echoing every day in my life with no sign of slowing down.

    • @user-tb7ml8kz7h
      @user-tb7ml8kz7h Місяць тому

      @@user-mn9wc5ru5w You misunderstood, which is expected for one with a heavy amount of bad karma, a.k.a. "a noticeably better than average person"...
      While it is true that in order to become rational, one has to have little to no bad karma, if you lack the knowledge as to what actions create bad karma, as most people do, over time you will, inevitably, create more bad karma for yourself.
      As to "voluntary vs. involuntary suffering" - the amount of happiness and misery you, and every other person, has to experience over the next chunk of time is set and known (not to me, or you, but to the mechanism that most people refer to as "luck"), Now, armed with that knowledge, you can engage in voluntary suffering BEFORE the involuntary suffering comes due, and if you manage to suffer enough, the involuntary suffering, a.k.a. "bad luck"/"personal drama"/"sudden disease"/"some other headache inducing unforeseen event" will not happen.
      Comparing yourself to other people is already a mistake - you are you - It was your unique set of decisions, desires, and actions, that brought you to the place you are at in your life right now.
      As to "I feel like my suffering is still echoing every day in my life with no sign of slowing down." - The ONLY cause of suffering is stupidity - you are suffering now because you were stupid in the past, and your current stupidity is the sole cause of your future suffering.
      So your carrying echoes of suffering from your past can only mean one thing - the lesson hadn't been learnt - you are still stupid - separate yourself, your "I am", from your stupidity (consider stupidity a disease, instead of a core part of your personality) - find out EXACTLY where/how you are stupid, and fix that problem.
