I would love to see a video how to maximize solar consumption in an RV / Boat where most of the power consumption is on the AC side. This helps combined with Ignore AC but still can't come up with a solution to consume all available Solar power. It would be nice if solar would power assist AC consumption when the batteries are full.
Hi I know what you say about the windpower hoever how is the mppt controller dealing with the ecessive voltage from the wind turbine as the voltage is well up and down how is the mppt compensating for this ? I thought you need some kind of rectifyer inline to help control it ? Thanks Troy
This still isn’t good enough to bring victron to feature parity with cheaper alternatives… solar priority needs to subsidize AC usage when the battery gets full. Most of RV equipment may be DC but the big loads are all AC. ESS is for “permanent” installations but its the only thing that comes close for RV’s with a lot of excess solar.

The video didn’t describe how to turn on the Sustain mode. Did I miss this?
Just go back into the menu and select “Press to stop” on the “Charging batteries to 100%” line.

also curious, I have an old wind turbine with heat dissipating spill resistors
Where can I find info regarding Victron's controllers and wind turbine compatability?

Yea what’s your go to product options
Ow this is an awesome feature! Can we also connect a physical button trough an IO?
theoretically yes, but thats not a standard setting option. With Node Red or such this could be done
Does sustain still trickle charge the aux battery with the inbuilt 2nd battery charger?
Very annoying background music! It really destroys the otherwise excellent presentation.
