    I have a 2023 FXLRST in the white sand pearl. I have almost 1k miles on it. So far, it's the best bike I have ever owned. All my previous motorcycles were sportbikes. I don't ever notice the shorter bags unless someone mentions it on a UA-cam video. Nobody ever notices or comments about them in person. I use it as my daily since I don't own a car, and the bags really make a difference in my commute. I agree with what you said it's "the best cruiser."

    Man... you needed to do a test-ride video, standing in a show room doesn't do this bike justice.

    The offset bags are actually nice if you are planning to run. 2-1 exhaust because most of the best 2-1 exhausts have an up-sweep to them and are short. That way you don’t burn the bottom of the bag with the exhaust.

      I kept the two into two with V&H slip on's Eliminator 300 Sounds amazing and performance is fantastic.

    I don't think the asymmetrical bags are an issue. Stuff like that is pretty standard on tons of bikes with exhaust running only on one side of the bike. Motorcycles just aren't symmetrical 🤷‍♂

      Yea I've been riding my LRST sincr last year and when I tell my riding friends about them being different sizes most of them say they never even noticed. It's really not an issue imo

    Harley needs to come out with a chrome version, if they did I would buy one today! Plus I wish they would redesign the clam type bags so they open from the top like there cruiser bags, BMWs bags are designed that way and they suck! Yes I also agree with you, thinking I would rather have the gauges as well or at least a little bigger viewing , looks too small and out of place. a couple small changes for me and Im all over that one. Harley could also offer the larger bag for the right side in there parts catalog for anyone that changes out there exhaust would be a money maker for Harley as well.

    I get the idea of the bike and I really like them. For the price you basically have three options. The road glide standard, the heritage softail, and this bike. Since I have been spoiled by a touring bike before, I would probably go with the road glide standard.
    You can’t go wrong with any of these. I do believe the best do it all bike is the low rider st. It’s light for a cruiser, easy to handle, has a great seating position, you can tour on it, hot rod it, and that 117 doesn’t take much to get around 120 HP at the wheel.

    I appreciate the vide. I didn't know the dash could be changed. I still have to hear that speaker system first. Overall I think it's a great bike! 8m partial to the RGS though. I will definitely give this bike a test ride.

    I've had mine since September last year. Can't fault it, after I made some changes. Floorboards for mid mounts..as I'm too tall for mids..and a new duel seat..swapped out the standard slips ons for Screamning eagle slips on and thats it..

    Why anyone would want to take a Badass Bike like the Lowrider S, and turn it into a two wheel Minivan is beyond me! Get rid of the gold wing Fairing and the luggage on the back and then it'll look like a bike again!

    I e mowed over trading the RG for it but there are several things it needs to really make it a two up cruiser. I’m still torn but I looked at it the other day but it was 26900

    it should come with one muffler would not be that hard to do from factory so bags could be the same I cant stand those bags. I will take my road king performance bagger any day. and twice on Sunday. and I payed 23.000 for it I got a real good deal being that the dealer had it priced as a road king and not a road king special. yeah you don't see that everyday. LOL I cant believe they let it go for that. I saved 3.600 they where going for 26.900 with the RDRS/// Cant beat that..

    • @myronmosley2167
      @myronmosley2167 Рік тому

      It’s definitely not hard to do. If you can do it at home in your garage the factory can do it faster and cheaper than most people realize. Whoever told him it would’ve been too hard to change either doesn’t know what they’re talking about or straight up lied to him. Harley, the company, isn’t stupid, and they count on their core customers to be gullible, because they know that if they hold off on some features or some aesthetic design here and there, they know they can add those things to it later, call it a special or limited or whatever and bump the price up a few grand. That’s also why they still refuse to put LED turn signals on their bikes as standard. They know you’ll buy it anyways and 9 times out ten the customer will have the dealership install LED turn signals on the bike before it leaves the showroom floor, which is another couple hundred dollars they can milk out of the sale. Thank God for the revival of Indian or Harley would probably be trying to bring back shovel heads and hard tails. Lol

    If Harley put LED lights on, it would hurt the aftermarket LED light companies. And it would probably raise the price of the bike more than buying the lights aftermarket.
    Plus they probably would not be as good, so people would change them anyhow.
    Ride safe.

    • @RoadieWingZZ
      @RoadieWingZZ Рік тому

      Ummmm… if you were to hang out on many of the Harley touring forums, you’d hear a lot of guys complaining that the touring frame hasn’t “evolved” into the monoshock design (to accommodate longer suspension travel in the rear)…. that is now present on the LRST. How ironic that the guys who actually ride the big baggers want it to come with the monoshock Softail configuration 🤷‍♂️
