PEDICURES are not only just beautiful and make a woman look neat and well put together but they are healing and maintain healthy feet and nails. Pedicures are prepared the usual way by removing existing nail enemel or nail polish and checking for any contraindications that might hinder the procedure.
The feet,legs and nails can be moisturied at the beginning of the pedicure to hydrate and nourish the nails bonding the layers of the nail plate togther.
-soak the client's feet in warm water with foot wash
-work on the left foot first remove leg fom water and dry the foot
- Remove nail polish starting with the small toe md file straight across
-using foot rasp or foot nail e-file rasp the foot to remove dead skin
-apply cuticle remover to the cuticles and massage it in
-Soak foot in water and repeat procedure to the other leg
-Push back the cuticles using orangewood stick or hoof stick
--scrape excess cuticles with the cuticle knife and trim the excess with nippers or use a nail e-fileto remove cuticles
-rasp the foot for the second time
-Apply foot scrub and scrub the foot only. Repeat movements on the right leg.
-Rinse the foot and apply cutucle oil to the cuticles and massage it in.
-Perform a foot and leg massage on both legs and feet.
-Remove massage medium gently with damp warm cloth or towel.
-Polish the nails as desired including nail art if desired!
