We can’t keep dropping points late. FCC did lose tonight, but we could have been two points closer. Along with a match in hand we could theoretically be within five of Cincinnati. Instead we concede with the last kick of the game. Both goals probably had a combined XG of like .15 which is unfortunate, but still. At least that says the backline was pretty good again. Omar and Dave should be the pairing until either Kess comes back or Omar’s performances drop. At the moment it’s his spot to lose. And I’d be completely open to Matty RB and keeping DJ on the left. Farrell and Sweat tonight were pretty average. MAK has been missing tackles here and there that you’d expect him to make. But his passing has still been good and should be partnering Harkes from now on. Speaking of Harkesy, he was immense once again. Starting to become a mainstay in the XI. Passing, positioning, aggression, etc. Capi was Capi. Nacho was a bit quieter today but still very effective. Taking good dribbles and making good passes. For the MOTM, Chanc has officially announced himself. A brace in his second start, oh yes. Finds great spots and can take a man on. Especially after that first went in you could see his confidence go up levels. Started to be more willing to dribble, make telling passes, and drop deep to build attacks. What we saw was the second coming of La Pantera, just more mobile. With a showing of that magnitude, you want Onalfo to go into the office and settle the buy option immediately. Just great stuff and he’s only going to get better. Also having his wage be well below the DP threshold, it makes for an even easier decision. Giacs found great pockets but could have used some more service. You lose a lot not having him on the pitch which is something I think we’ve all come to notice. Buck and Bobby’s shifts were once again pretty dull, no particular fault of theirs. Though Vrioni should have stayed on. Chris got on the ball a few times and I’m sure wishing that he hit the chip attempt a bit cleaner. DJ showed some quality on the wing but shouldn’t get too used to being in that area. The Tommy substitution was pretty unnecessary overall and you could argue indirectly cause the equalizer. Added time would have ended at half before the equalizer. We just have to hold these results. And it won’t be any easier with three straight away. Tough locations to play as well. Considering a good road-trip in MLS nowadays is like 3 points, we have a serious task ahead. Believe in these boys till the very end!! GO REVS!!!!!!

Why tf did the revs player give the ball to Austin keeper at the end and give them a chance to come tie when he could have just kept going until the whistle?

I fail to see how a sub could add an entire minute to stopage time, yet the goal itself, which literally stopped the game for well over 30 seconds added only 2 seconds. Either this ref has literal time blindness or is just utterly incompetent (and based on MANY of the calls, or rather non calls throughout the game I am going with the second option) then there is absolutely no excuse for the game to have continued as long as it had. Once NE broke down the field the game should have ended. Plain and simple. It was already past the 3 minute mark. Utterly absurd.

@@brando7266 Attendance was 26,213. Not as high as the 36,235 they had against Miami (this was before Messi). There are 21 MLS stadium that are not even listed as being able to hold 26,213 people (well some can but not for MLS games). Of the "Soccer Specific Stadiums" only 3 have a capacity higher than 26k, and none higher than 36k. The vast majority of them would never have held even close to the numbers of either of these two games. But they sure would have "looked" packed!!!!!

@@SuperStro509 Looks can be, and often are, deceiving. Who care what your "perception" of it is when team X over there "appears" to have a "great" crowd yet can only sell out at 17k and only has 15k for the game in question. That's a crap crown in comparison to a 26k crowd and a hell of a lot of lost revenue (especially since the owner of the team already owns the stadium).
