For anybody that doesn't have a potato ricer, I found the large holes on a normal cheese grater worked also :) - I just made these and they turned out wonderfully :D Thank you!
Raoul and Miriam are so wonderful! I was a vegetarian, but now, I'm vegan and these videos inspired me to create some of my own recipes. These recipes are amazing and I can easily prepare them in a short period of time, which is super convenient! I am a cardiologist and have crazy work hours. After a long day of work, I can relax with an awesome recipe and enjoy it with my kids. My 4 year old daughter loved helping me make this gnocchi and my 16 year old son thought it was great!
I think I've found my Happy-Channel. I can't stop watching your videos, and I laugh during every single one of them - your comments are hilarious! Your vids truly make me both happy and hungry, which is perfect. I seriously can't wait for it to become dinner-time, just so I can try out all of your wonderful recipes. From now on, whenever I'm feeling sad, I will come here and feel a lot better :) thank you for being amazing!
I made gnocchi for the first time tonight following your video tutorial and it turned out SO BEAUTIFUL! It's the first recipe I've found that has no egg, baking soda, or salt! It was fantastic. Made a gongonzola sauce with mushroom and spinach to go with it :) Thanks heaps! Your channel is so amazing!
Gurkiran Flora Very well done! :D Traditional gnocchi don't require all the ingredients you've mentioned, despite people keep adding them to the recipe for no reason. Thank you for watching! :)
Thanks Judy :-) We didn't know if this recipe was going to be considered too difficult to prepare, but apparently it was a great success! Looking forward to watch your next masterpiece
Great recipe! I made them for the first time today and both my 14mo and non vegan husband were blown away and had seconds! Love them, nice and chewy. To be fair I didn't measure the ingredients and put too little flour but hey, even like that they were great! Thanks for the recipe! Love your channel!
This is without a doubt the best vegan recipe channel I've ever come across! Thank you for giving me so many fancy low-fat recipes to spice up my repertoire! :D
I'm super happy to hear that. We work hard to deliver good recipes on a regular basis, and receiving such a nice comment surely made the day :-) Thank you very much for watching and for your support
So delicious! I made them last week, for one person it is a lot so I used your freezing method and have been slowly making my way through them, but omg, never buying gnocchis again! It is so easy and tastes so much better!
TheChemicalMuffin Great! I'm happy to hear that the instructions were easy to follow and that you managed to make the gnocchi so well :) Thank you for watching
Made this last night for the first time with a pre-made gluten free flour mix (for making white bread) and followed the recipe gram for gram. I realized only too late that the flour mixture did contain powdered egg. Will attempt this again soon with an egg free brand. I didn't have a ricer so I turned to my cheese grater. That idea worked a little bit, but ultimately failed because the potatoes were still too hot and broke apart on the grater. If I had allowed the potatoes to cool down first, the cheese grater might have otherwise been a perfect replacement for the ricer. In the end I mashed the potatoes finely with a fork. There were tiny chunks of potato in the dough, but that did not affect the end results which were smooth looking gnocchi with no visible potato chunks and a soft but not mushy bite. No issues while boiling except having to skim foam off the water's surface every now and then. I mixed the cooked gnocchi in with a well-seasoned tomato "ground beef" sauce I made from scratch. Everyone went for seconds. Definitely making this recipe a household stable for sure. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Chase The Bandit Thanks for sharing your experience about this recipe, I appreciate that. That might seem like a whole lot of effort for a recipe, but gnocchi are so delicious when properly made. I don't know if you already read about it, but you can press the potatoes through a metal sieve, which is a hard work, but it is possibly even better than the potato ricer option. Anyway, It seems that you enjoyed the recipe, which is all that matters for us, so thank you very much for letting me know and for watching this video :)
I am normally a bit lazy when I make gnocchi - I don't measure things exactly and use any potatoes I have in the house. I followed all your recommendations in this recipe and just made the BEST gnocchi of my life. Thanks again for another amazing recipe!
Lauren Jane I think it's totally ok to be a bit lazy in the kitchen. However, measuring ingredients is something that we always recommend as it allows you to obtain very consistent results at every single attempt. Thank you very much for letting us know that you enjoyed the recipe so much :)
TheVeganCorner yet another great video, thank you! Your videos are always very entertaining because of your wonderful sense of humour :) We also love your italian accent and how you pronounce every letter of English words (as you do in Italian) such as "fruit" and "juice" ;) Our beautiful Italian vegan friends here in Brisbane recently made us potato and pumpkin gnocchi from their nonna's recipe - buonissimo! They will love your channel too we're sure.
I have no Idea about why this comment was left unanswered. I sincerely apologise but I wasn't aware of it. Thank you for your kind words as usual, I don't really like my accent but I guess there is not much more I can do to fix it. You really are a great addition to this community, thanks ;)
The Vegan Corner we almost unsubscribed! ;) ha ha, no problem guys, you would find it challenging to keep up with all the comments! No don't try to fix your accent, it's PERFECT and sounds so unique, a delight :) By the way, our Italian friends that we mentioned above have been watching your channel and enjoy it very much. Thanks for your kind words xo
I just made the gnocchi, and I am eating them right now! Your instructions are very easy to follow, and the result is delicious! Great recipe! Thank you very much for posting!
I just made this recipe. I used freshly milled kamut flour instead of white flour and they are so yummy. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions.
Made this tonight. Awesome! Thanks for the CTFU recipe. Freelee brought me here and now I'm hooked. Very few places show low fat low salt recipes you guys rock!
Sam Moore Thanks! We try to do our best to help people to go or remain vegan- that's all! And we are happy to hear that you like our work. Thanks for watching :)
The Vegan Corner Freelee the Banana Girl brought me here too!~ really looking forward to making this delizioso recipe for dinner tonight!! x thank you for the recipe!
In Ukraine we also make these and we call them halushki. However I used your recipe for my first ever attempt because I diidn't want to use eggs. They turned out great! No idea what the eggs are for in the mix. Thank you for the recipe! I'll be making these again and again :) Pretty simple too!
could I also use spelt flour or coconut flour ? freelee brought me here and boy am I glad to have found you *_* !!!! i've watched 4 recipes already and you are my new favorite cooking channel! thank you!
I've never had problems making gnocchis. I also like to mash the potatoes and then leave them a bit to dry out a little. They always turn out delicious and practically melt in my mouth
I tried gnocchi Aldi they are really cheap and quite tasty, though it always comes with a smell of all the preservatives.. I am happy that I found this video, next time gonna make some by myself for sure.
I hope so! A family member tried doing it the way some books show it → with eggs! And he failed so if I manage to nail them it will be proof once again that nobody needs animal products :D
Thanks! I actually have finished them: they are DELICIOUS but the shape is weird 😁 I ended up using my hand like for Orecchiette! But anyway I had a question: I used white flour because I felt like I would get a weird consistency with wholewheat flour BUT I am really trying to avoid refined carbs (I'll make an exception for this once I guess 😁😁) Which non-refined flour could I use and still not screw up the consistency? Thanks a loooot for responding :)
***** Actually whole-wheat flour would work just as well, but I suggest you to sift it to remove the bigger pieces of fibre as they would compromise the gnocchi. You can also use some gluten-free flour such as buckwheat flour. However, pay attention to the quantity of flour you use, the more you add the gummier the final gnocchi will be. It is my pleasure to answer your comments, I'm here to help ;)
Ericka Nelson It is my job to make them simple, otherwise people won't try them out :D However, they not only look easy, they actually are- Guaranteed! Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment :)
"...don't be tempted by peeling and cutting the potatoes to speed up the process, as it won't work and you'll end up with potato soup... A BAD. potato. soup... And I'm quite sure nobody likes a bad potato soup...right?" Hilarious!
Just found your channel from Freelee. Have been wanting some new recipes to add to my vegan rotation of meals for my family! Great stuff! Oh..and I became a sub.
Gnocchi is one of those foods that make me wonder how people ever came up with it! However, I love its texture a lot! I might try this one time when I'm cooking with someone else, because it does seem like a lot of work (compaired to just steaming or baking potatoes that is). I get quite lazy with cooking haha.
Lazy with cooking? that's not possible...Your food always look so delicious! Gnocchi have an incredible texture and I really suggest you to try them when you have some spare time. Dinner for us is also steamed potatoes (or similar), as we have plenty things to do and rarely have the time to spend hours in the kitchen for ourselves. However we do spend hours to make and film these videos, but that's pleasure! :-) Thanks for watching
Freelee the Banana Girl brought me here and omg let me say I am just in love with your channel, I wish I had found it sooner! Ypu have earned yourself a new subscriber :)
Julia Smith I'm so happy to have you here, thanks for subscribing to our channel. Freelee is very kind and thanks to her we now have a much larger audience. In case you need any help with our recipes, feel free to contact us by leaving a comment. Thanks for watching! :)
This is, by far, the best explained gnocchi recipe! And I have seen a few! Thank you for it. I will try your recipe and add a wonderful sauce to make the gnocchi divine. Chanel subscribed!!!! Ci vediamo!
Wow that looks so delicious, and really economical! Thank you so much. Now I wanna video on what to serve it with or some kind of awesome vegan gnocchi dish! :) Thanks so much for the awesome content! Just found your channel.... time to watch videos for the rest of the night. Lol.
I watched it at freelees channel. It's perfect. It looks so delicious! I will try it today with adding some herbs =) Thanks and a thumb up from germany
FruitFullLife Thanks! We really tried to do our best here, as this recipe is really appreciated in Italy and all over the world. Thanks for watching and for your lovely comment :)
Yesterday, we made them for the first time. They were fantastic so we did a lot more today and had like one delicious gnocchi day. Thank you for sharing this! :)
I finally made them! The taste was great. However I didn't have any flour so I made my own from oats. It was a bit difficult to work the dough, and once cooked they kinda stuck together. Still, I really enjoyed them with a great mix of greens and mushrooms. Will definitely mak'em again. .. gracias!
There are two ways to do what you asked. One is to dehydrate the spinaches, grind them into a powder and mix them with the flour. The other one is to simply steam/boil the spinaches, drain them, thoroughly squeeze them (as you really don't want water in them) and then chop them as finely as you can. If you leave them into bigger pieces, the gnocchi won't come out as they should. Anyway, it is quite an easy task to make spinach Gnocchi, but again I probably wouldn't suggest you doing them at your first attempt :-) Thanks for watching and for your comment
Hey! I mashed them with flour and the mixture was great. Maybe it takes few more minutes, but it works out really good. Oh, and I also used buckwheat flour since I wanted my gnocchi to be healthier. :)
This looks amazing and completely do-able, but I don't have a ricer, could I just mash the potatoes and then mix it with the flour and continue or would that not work as well?
Anna Toler Sure thing! Mash them thoroughly with a fork and you should be fine :) Many people didn't have the ricer and managed to do a great job anyway. If you end up trying the recipe, please let me know how it turned out ;) Thanks for watching!
The Vegan Corner hi thanku so much for replying. I will cook this today for my family. I m hoping I can adapt n use ur recipes n change into vegan lifestyle. Thanku so much
We have a recipe for that which will be posted within a week. However, any sauce you would use for pasta will work for gnocchi as well! Some examples are; pesto sauce, tomato sauce, ragu bolognese sauce... The possibilities are endless :-) Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment!
Do you have a suggestion as to storing this overnight or for a few days? Should I make the individual gnocco and leave them in the refrigerator uncooked? Or cook them first and then refrigerate them?
hb wizard You can find extra info and tips in the description below the video :) Anyway your best bet is to cook the gnocchi for a 30-40 seconds and then freeze them, because if you simply freeze them uncooked they will fall apart whilst cooking. I hope this helps
Krestik Sunny That's a very kind comment, thanks! I'll try to do my best to keep the quality high so that I will never disappoint you ;) Thanks for watching and for your support!
The traditional shape is indeed totally unnecessary. In fact, many great chefs make gnocchi in the shape of pillows, with smooth surfaces. Of course it won't hold onto the sauce as much, but if I had to guess a difference in percentage I'd say that smooth gnocchi are only 10% worse than regular ones, so do go ahead and make them in any shape you like, as long as you keep them of a similar size to allow for proper cooking. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching
+Lisa Jacobson Hi! You can store the gnocchi in the fridge for a couple of hours max, because after that they become incredibly sticky and difficult to manage. If you want to freeze them, have a look at the tips in the description below the video :) Thanks for watching our videos
WOW this is so cool! Such a great option for a cooked vegan carb! Thanks for sharing :) PS: I always LOVE how you present the food that you are making. Your voice-overs are so entertaining and interesting.
There is no way to describe how happy I am to receive such a nice comment :-) Really, thank you! We always try to do our best to propose recipes that are easy to make yet special! Thanks for watching, we appreciate it very much!
Wow! gnocchi was one of my favourite dishes and i didnt think i could have it anymore since going vegan. Thankyou so much for this recipe it made my day :) haha.
Very happy to hear that, I really hoped that people would love this dish! I'm sure you'd be able to reproduce this recipe without any issue! Thanks for watching :-)
Hello! I really want to make this but I don't know what a potato ricer is. Can you mash the potatoes and mix it with the flour instead or is there another way to get the 'riced' potatoes? Thank you!
musicXstar98 There are several ways. Some people used a cheese grater, but one of the best options is to pass the potatoes trough a metal strainer :) I hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Hey just made this recipe, it's so yummy! There's a slight problem with the texture though, it's very slimy, not like noodles normally are. They fall apart kinda. Maybe not enough flour?
Audburry Slimy? First time I hear this in my life. Which flour did you use for the recipe? Anyway, if they fall apart there are two possible reasons: not enough flour, or potatoes not mixed well with the flour. I hope this helps and thanks for watching
Is it possible to prepare the dough and put it in the fridge or the freezer to use it on another day? And thanks a lot for the great recipe and your amazing videos in general! I am a big fan :)
JL336 Hi! Many thanks for your comment and kind words. There are some extra tips in the description box about how to freeze the gnocchi. I wouldn't recommend to place them into the fridge as they will become incredibly sticky and very difficult to manage. I hope this helps and thanks again for watching :)
bree cristofari You can try. Personally I've never tried so I can't be sure. You can also pass the potatoes through a metal sieve, but it will be hard work. I hope this helps, thanks for watching
The Vegan Corner I bought a potato ricer :)! thank you so much for your reply though, people really appreciate when you reply, it goes a really long way! keep doing what you're doing, your videos are awesome and very appreciated! have an awesome day!
Are there any herbs you could mix with this dough that you recommend? And in what measurements? I'm making this for my friends and I tonight! I can't wait :)
CaBobProductions How kind of you to prepare gnocchi for your friends :) Honestly, I wouldn't mix anything with the dough, as you would need a very high quantity of spices or herbs in order to taste them. You could mix some dried herbs just to make the gnocchi look nicer, but do not expect to obtain much extra flavour from them. For this quantity of dough, I'd go for 1 or 2 tablespoons of dried herbs (one that you like), or 1-2 teaspoons of spices. Thanks for watching
I added the ravioli to the list, but unfortunately the "to-do" list became very long and there is no chance we will be able to make every single recipe that people asked. Many thanks for watching and for your support :-)
This looks so delicious! I mean it's just pasta. But yknow. Pasta. Love me some good pasta. But what would you guys consider as the best way to keep the gnocchi fresh? Would you recommend freezing the gnocchi? As much as I'd like to eat it all in a day, I don't think I could.
Thank you for this recipe. I never cook with salt and so happy to hear you didn't either. I will be trying this, my father always made them, I am going to be daring and use GF flour... yikes.. lol. fingers crossed..
Lana Lay You should be able to do so, but the dough will be a bit more difficult to manage. I tried making gnocchi with gluten-free flours before and they came out good, but a bit gummier. I hope this helps
Thanks or watching and for your comment :-) You can try to mash the potatoes, but I can't guarantee they will come out the same. If the potatoes are not mashed properly they will not blend with the flour, and if they are mashed excessively, they will become very sticky and impossible to mix. If a ricer is not available, your best bet would be to pass the potatoes through a medium mesh sieve, and in that case it will be exactly like using a ricer, except from the fact that doing the gnocchi will become a sort of workout :-)
***** That is not a dumb question at all, don't worry. You basically treat the gnocchi like pasta and serve them with a sauce of your choice :) Thanks of watching
Although I've been eating gnocchi for decades, I never even thought of preparing my own until now. The previous two videos used chicken menstruation so I'm glad there is a vegan alternative.
When I lived in Italy, my favorite dish was gnocchi with stewed shredded wild boar. The first time I had it was in Firenze. But I had it all over Northern Italy where I lived once I found out how delicious it was! Any ideas how to replicate this vegan?
Coconut flour no, as it is not really 'flour'. However, other regular flours can be used instead, but the dough will be much more difficult to handle, especially if you've never done gnocchi before. Make a small batch first, to see if you like the process, and if you do, you'll make more next time :)
Just did these with the tomato sauce .. it was very good, but I used a gluten free flour which made things a bit harder.. but thank you soo much for the recipe I'm doing it again soon :)
م.بابونج Guten-free flours are strange beasts and in this case they make gnocchi a bit hard and gummy. Thank you for letting me know that you tried the recipe, very kind of you ;)
For anybody that doesn't have a potato ricer, I found the large holes on a normal cheese grater worked also :) - I just made these and they turned out wonderfully :D Thank you!
MegaDotz That's a great option as almost anybody has a cheese greater :) Thanks for sharing this tip with us and thank you for watching as well.
Thanks you genius!
I was looking for this comment thank you !!
I grated them on the fine cheese grater and they came out like in the potato ricer :)
Thanks! I don't have a potato ricer and I never thought about that!

Yesterday, we made them for the first time. They were fantastic so we did a lot more today and had like one delicious gnocchi day. Thank you for sharing this! :)
Dreamwood - Peaceful Mystic Rock Thanks for letting me know guys :) We always appreciate genuine positive feedback!
The Vegan Corner I think we would have made more, but we ran out of flour… ;)
Great recipe tried it at home, do you recommend any good sauces to the side of it?
Any sauce you like will work. Tomato sauce maybe? or a soup :-)
Adham I love your recipes! I subbed!
I've actually been thinking about making gnocchi! Thanks so much for this recipe. Love your videos, keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment :-) I'm happy to see you here and I hope you'll give this recipe a try.
I finally made them! The taste was great. However I didn't have any flour so I made my own from oats. It was a bit difficult to work the dough, and once cooked they kinda stuck together. Still, I really enjoyed them with a great mix of greens and mushrooms. Will definitely mak'em again. .. gracias!
Yay! Putting this on my list of things to attempt :) If I wanted to do spinach gnocchi, do I add cooked or raw chopped spinach to the dough?
There are two ways to do what you asked. One is to dehydrate the spinaches, grind them into a powder and mix them with the flour. The other one is to simply steam/boil the spinaches, drain them, thoroughly squeeze them (as you really don't want water in them) and then chop them as finely as you can. If you leave them into bigger pieces, the gnocchi won't come out as they should. Anyway, it is quite an easy task to make spinach Gnocchi, but again I probably wouldn't suggest you doing them at your first attempt :-) Thanks for watching and for your comment
Thanks!
This channel is so amazing! Thank you so much for all these amazing recipes!
+Penny R Thank YOU for watching them :)
Looks delicious! Thanks for the recipe. I'll be trying it this weekend!
+Jamie P You are welcome and thank you for watching our videos! :)
Looks great, I really want to try this recipe but I don't have a potato ricer, would it be ok to just mash the potatoes with the flour? Thanks!
Hey! I mashed them with flour and the mixture was great. Maybe it takes few more minutes, but it works out really good. Oh, and I also used buckwheat flour since I wanted my gnocchi to be healthier. :)
Sounds great, thanks! I still need to try this recipe so will try that soon :)
Yummy, thank you so much! I’m so making this! God bless
My four year old didn't want to eat his gnocchi, so I showed him this video while we ate dinner and now he's happily eating his gnocchi ☺️
I've made this 3 times and I love it so much best stuff in the world!
Margaret Blythe We make gnocchi quite frequently too, as they are pretty delicious. Thank you for your support
Were going to try this one out tonight! will let you know how it goes :)
Sounds perfect! If you do end up trying the gnocchi, I'll be happy to know how they turned out! :-) Thanks for watching
Went really well Gnocchi turned out excelante! Thanks for the recipe.
highcarbvegans Ⓥ Very happy to hear that :-D Thanks!
Hi how much flour to use for this recipe? I love to try this. thanku so much
andrew crago The ingredient list is in the description below the video. We always place the ingredients there, in every single video :-) Thanks!
The Vegan Corner hi thanku so much for replying. I will cook this today for my family. I m hoping I can adapt n use ur recipes n change into vegan lifestyle. Thanku so much
andrew crago I'm sure you will succeed, nothing to worry about :) Thanks again for your support!
Thank you thank you thank you! Plus I love your sense of humor
Ariana Banana Thanks! I appreciate the fact that you enjoy our work and the added humor as well. I hope you'll try some of our recipes and enjoy them.
The subtle humor adds a fantastic touch. I absolutely will. I'm so excited to make this gnocchi!
What kind of sauce would you prepare to accompany the gnocchi?
I hope this helps
thanks, very helpful. Love all your recipes!
hb wizard Thanks, it was a pleasure to help!
Can I make a gluten free version? Thank you
+Dulmal Mj We will share that recipe in the future. :)
Love your channel! Can't wait to try all the recipes :D thanks for all the work it takes to make these detailed and colorful videos. You rock!
Krestik Sunny That's a very kind comment, thanks! I'll try to do my best to keep the quality high so that I will never disappoint you ;) Thanks for watching and for your support!
I tried this recipe last week and my gnocchi were delicious, thank you!
I've never had this. What do u eat them with? Pasta sauce?
Sure any pasta sauce you like would work perfectly ;-) I'm sure you would love gnocchi, never heard of anybody who didn't like it.
is making the shape necessary? will it still cook properly if i skip this step?
The traditional shape is indeed totally unnecessary. In fact, many great chefs make gnocchi in the shape of pillows, with smooth surfaces. Of course it won't hold onto the sauce as much, but if I had to guess a difference in percentage I'd say that smooth gnocchi are only 10% worse than regular ones, so do go ahead and make them in any shape you like, as long as you keep them of a similar size to allow for proper cooking. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching
Do you have a video for a good vegan sauce for this??
***** Sure, there is a recipe for Tomato gnocchi on our channel :) I hope you''l enjoy it
My boyfriend and I love your channel! Can you store the the gnocchi dough in the refrigerator or freezer until you are ready to cook?
+Lisa Jacobson Hi! You can store the gnocchi in the fridge for a couple of hours max, because after that they become incredibly sticky and difficult to manage. If you want to freeze them, have a look at the tips in the description below the video :) Thanks for watching our videos
+The Vegan Corner Got it! Thank you!
+Lisa Jacobson My pleasure!
WOW this is so cool! Such a great option for a cooked vegan carb! Thanks for sharing :)
PS: I always LOVE how you present the food that you are making.
Love this. I have actually found a lot of vegan gnocchi at grocery stores, but most of them have mountain fulls of salt.
PERFECT !!!!!!!! Thanks for the recipe, so full on sooo many gnocchi
+cate marra Haha, that always happens to me as well :) Thanks for watching!
"Nobody likes a bad potato soup". I laughed :). Such a beautiful video!
:D Some humour never hurts, right? Thanks for watching and for your support
Hi Vegan Corner! Can we freeze the extra uncooked Gnocchi? or would it be better to boil it first and then freeze the extra Gnocchi?
TheNatural Crown You can certainly do so :) You will find that piece of info in the description below the video.
The Vegan Corner Thanks a bunch!
TheNatural Crown My pleasure!
Is it possible to use a cheese grader for the potatos if I don't have a potato ricer?
bree cristofari You can try. Personally I've never tried so I can't be sure. You can also pass the potatoes through a metal sieve, but it will be hard work. I hope this helps, thanks for watching
The Vegan Corner I bought a potato ricer :)! thank you so much for your reply though, people really appreciate when you reply, it goes a really long way! keep doing what you're doing, your videos are awesome and very appreciated! have an awesome day!
bree cristofari No worries, it is my pleasure :) Enjoy your day and thanks for your kind words
Hahaha I love watching videos with ur amazing sense of humour
Do you have any suggestions for someone without a potato ricer? Or is it a necessary thing to have
+Molly Hirrlinger Sure! You can either use a potato masher or mash the potatoes with a fork. But it is going to be a bit of a workout
I just prepared the dough and am looking forward to cooking these tonight! I just subscribed. :) your voice is very intriguing by the way!
You and your channel are amazing! :) ..just wanted to let you know 🌻
Are there any herbs you could mix with this dough that you recommend?
The Vegan Corner Thank you! :) I decided not to do the herbs, it was great anyways! Didn't need them at all :)
CaBobProductions Glad to hear that! Thanks for getting back to me ;)
That's a great recipe!!! Thank you soo much. Would you please O please share a vegan ravioli recipe?
I added the ravioli to the list, but unfortunately the "to-do" list became very long and there is no chance we will be able to make every single recipe that people asked. Many thanks for watching and for your support :-)
Hopefully it will come across. Thank you for all the recipe, It helps and inspire a lot :)
Yayyy i love italian food so so much! Will definitely try this! Thanks
Thank you :-) I hope you do try this dish, I believe it really represent Italy!
I am just finishing doing them...! They are delicious....! :-) thank you for the video!!!
Dominique Andre :-D A pleasure to hear! Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment with your feedback
Thank you for this recipe. I never cook with salt and so happy to hear you didn't either. I will be trying this, my father always made them, I am going to be daring and use GF flour... yikes.. lol. fingers crossed..
You can definitely dare, as it is indeed doable. It just requires a bit more testing/patience. Finger crossed ;)
My husband tells me I have the patience of a saint. So tell me what I need to know. My daughter is celiac so things have to be gluten free.
Would i be able to use rice flour for this recipe??
Lana Lay You should be able to do so, but the dough will be a bit more difficult to manage. I tried making gnocchi with gluten-free flours before and they came out good, but a bit gummier. I hope this helps
Can you make this by just mashing the potatoes? Any alternatives to the ricer? Abs thanks for sharing looks super yumm
TheVeganCorner thank youu :)
littleointment My pleasure! :-)
Just made these! I'm drying the rest for later. Thank you!
thankyou for this. this is my fave and ever since im turning vegan this should do the trick. do you think i can freeze some and save for later use ?
+martina lee You can find that piece of info in the description below the video :) Thank you for using our recipes!
How do you eat them once done? Sorry for the dumb question I've never heard of these before lol...
I have watched so many of your videos! So inspiring :)
Can you use coconut flour or any other type of flour that high in carbs and low fat
Coconut flour no, as it is not really 'flour'. However, other regular flours can be used instead, but the dough will be much more difficult to handle, especially if you've never done gnocchi before. Make a small batch first, to see if you like the process, and if you do, you'll make more next time :)
Ok Thanks and by the way if was hard to be vegan before I discovered your channel:)
You are welcome :) I'm happy to hear that it is now somewhat easier for you to be plant-based because of our recipes.
Thank you for letting me know that you tried the recipe, very kind of you ;)
I love your videos :)
I was wandering, can you store these in the freezer before cooking, or should you cook them then freeze them?
+BeautifulPengu That piece of info is in the description below the video :)
Pancake
Can I freeze them? If so before boiling or after?
