Just beautiful! I realized after watching plenty of garden pictures online that what I love the most is a lot of shades green with just a little color here and there. I would love to have this garden at my house.
I love everything about this garden. It sort of combines my 2 favorite styles: a cottage garden and a more structured garden like the ones I saw in Italy.
Gorgeous. I love the idea of no lawn. So much more interesting and much better for the planet. And even though these are small spaces, you could spend hours wandering around and admiring everything.

Beautiful! I live in zone 8-9 in san antonio, texas. So plants are a challenge especially with the heat. I don't use drip irrigation but I should. Anyway our native plants take a pounding from heat even mulching doesn't help. I'm gonna have to resort to just cactus some day. So that's why I love to see what's going on in places like zone 6 and similar cooler climates.

the brunnera has the best foliage for shade! the edging is 'ever edge'. it is a bit pricey but the best on the market. no liner under gravel, but it is very thick layer of 6 inches or more.
I Love the hydrangea and combination in front of the deck. I am going to try and re-create that. It looks So beautiful my deck has nothing in front of it.❤️Thank you for this garden tour.

This is in zone 6, northern NJ. I will try to do a tour later in the season when hibiscus are in bloom :)

It’s ‘green velvet’ boxwood. Planted 18” apart on center. I love how it turned out. Good luck with your project!

Decks are so difficult to fit in the garden and bringing shrubs/plants up to its level always helps 😁
