So, AppSheet Database is effectively Google Tables. That's good, but like a sap, I've been waiting for years now, since they announced that Tables was going to be released beyond the Beta version, and nowhere on the Table pages did it mention AppSheet. Glad to see they are making use of it. Now I need to delve in and see if it costs anything beyond the Google Workspace subscription.
I am using the Appsheet database for a complex app. It works well, but at the beginning I was infuriated by how the database assigns a KEY column. With a sheet you would UNIQUEID() to do this on a key or UUID col you manually create. In the DB this is done for you, but I have not been able to establish how to change this or its implications in app. REF links for exmaple, seem not to work unless that ROW ID key created automatically is the KEY.

can export the appsheet database to a CSV file?
copy and paste as a last resort. You could set up the app and then add a download action.
