I love schedule videos! The schedule we settled on during 6th grade for our only child was: (times are approximate, but generally pretty close to this idea) 9:00 about 10 min. each for spelling, vocab, math facts drills, typing, and Fix It grammar 10:00 Outside play/exercise 11:00 Math and writing 12:00 Lunch with video lessons for science, alternating with history documentaries 1:00 Rotating subject (each day a different subject) one of: LA, science experiment, history timeline and hands on project, health, and art 2:00 or 2:30-ish Musical instrument practice (two instruments) 3:00/3:30 Done Then after-school activities, and at some point independent silent reading for about 30 min., or longer if we don’t have a lot going on that day. And we do read aloud after dinner/before bed.
Such a great lay out.. I always love learning from you even though my daughter is older. I love how independent Brielle is... Kudos for all your hard work.

Sounds great! My kiddo is in 3rd this year and I created a 4 day schedule so I can make sure we're getting all the things we need to get done finished. I like the idea of the Monday meeting & might swipe that when my daughter is more independent.
I have not even watched yet but thank you so much I literally start Monday and it's my first time and I've been sitting here tying to figure out the schedule and this has been stressful and confusing so I'm so happy you uploaded this I know it'll be helpful so thank you in advance now let me go watch lol
Lots of trial and error ❤️ I’m in my second year and we kept things very simple the first year and played with our routine until we found what works for us 😊 my kids are still very young and I have one beginning preschool this year so I am sure I will have a lot of trial and error happening again this year!
How do you determine which curriculum you will use? My 10th grader just started homeschool. Trying to find a schedule. Also so social and active time. Im a little anxious since its starting to get cooler and less options for outside time.
Hi Brittany, I wanted to ask you something about the spelling lists you printed out from 180 days curriculum and Evan Moore. I was trying to get that list and just couldn’t find it. Could you send me the link or name you used to search for that please?
New subscriber! I love your style and explanations. Your curriculums are very comprehensive and I get a lot of good ideas from you💕. How long do you allow your children screen time/ technology time?
I’m new to your channel and one thing I’ve consistently noticed in your videos is what a beautiful smile you have.
Thank you so much 😊
