That oven is a work horse. Never get rid of it, they don't make them like that anymore. My mom still has hers after dozens of years. She fixes it herself too because most items in those days were created to be easily fixed.
I think the wood looks fine, if paintd white itll look like a diner. Unless that is the intention I dont see white appealing for a cozy vitange home, afterall white and black tend to be modern aesthetic trend rn
@@SemekiIzuio painted cabinets, including white cabinets (doesn't have to be cold stark white), are pretty classic for cozy cottage, farmhouse, and vintage kitchens.
Looks so good and omg that OVEN!!! My granny got one when they first started making them and it STILL WORKS. That thing outlived her and will probably outlive me too.
It looks so good already!! 🥰 so so excited to see how it turns out! I just found your channel recently and absolutely binged almost all of your shorts 😂 I love remodeling and interior design, and your style is so fun and similar to my tastes! I’m definitely living vicariously through you in anticipation of modeling my house with my partner 🥰 So thank you!! Much love! 💕
I have used vinyl tiles and over time, you will replace individual tiles and not necessarily from damage. I still think they are a fabulous option, but they can be frustrating to upkeep, the older they get. If it’s a design you don’t want for more than a year or so, these are great! 😊❤
Pro tip-ask any home repair person or interior decorator… don’t use square base boards! They require massive cleaning and break down easier and don’t look as nice!
Seriously 150 bucks on a new stove would go a long way!! The energy cost for the stove alone will have that apartment sitting or you will get a no so great tenant !!!
Hey as of last year in a house that I was renting I had one of those Stoves and put it this way, she cooked like a BEAST!! They just DON’T make them like her ANYMORE😢
Omg I think matching floor boards would really tie it together - unless you’re planning on covering them up anyway in which case completely ignore my comment please
That adhesive has to be applied with a trowel and after it’s spread on the floor, you wait until it becomes clear and tacky to the touch. At that point, you lay the tiles down.
My dad is a tile setter he's been doing it for 40 years so I need to show him this because he's so old school, I don't think he knows this tool even exists!
I don't know if you care or if you get this comment. But in case you want to match or order anything to do with your oven I thought I let you know, it's not yellow. The color is Harvest Gold. Nice job on the floor.
Yes, it has to be applied with a ridged trowel and allowed to turn clear and tacky BEFORE laying the tiles down. The directions are right on the bucket!

No lies
There is a paint for ovens if you'd like to change the color. I've used it outdoors on old rusty grills and firepits and it stands the test of time.

Yes yes please listen to this person these never stop working!!!!
As long as it’s not a fire/gas hazard
Finally, someone who's making vintage designs instead of destroying them!
I am SO SO SO glad you kept the vintage counters, cabinets and stove omg
When people don't take away the personality of the house to make it sad beige>>>>
The blue and white looks cute with the yellow oven. I think the cabinets would look good painted white.
I totally agree, it will make it look bright, fresh, and spacious!
Or sanded and a light white wood color.
The tiles look blue, and a light sand color to me, if so a light sand color on the cabinets would look great.

Love the color combo! Looks great! 😊
The oven looked so outdated in the "before," but with the tiles it looks retro and cute 😊❤
Wow! That floor turned out so good! Amazing how much it changes the whole look of the place. Great job!
Your hluse literally looks like it got exploded in pastel and diy items! Love your creativity
We are OBSESSED with our Squares Bay Blue & Linen White LVT floor tiles in this space, it looks amazing!
Does dirt and crumbs get trapped between the tiles since there is no grout? 🤔
It looks amazing! I’m loving watching the progress.
Too little adhesive will cause tiles to pop off the floor when completely dried. Reapply with a little bit more.
Looks so good and omg that OVEN!!! My granny got one when they first started making them and it STILL WORKS. That thing outlived her and will probably outlive me too.
This is so cute. I can't wait to see the finished project.
My kitchen needs to be redone so im glad I came across your videos to give me motivation!!!
It really is a beautiful colour 🩵🤍
I love the contrast of the wooden cabinets with the soft colours of the floor tiles.
Love the floor tiles!

Beautiful 💖, very very good 😊
Love the oven! Great job on the floor :)
I love, love, love that stove, and I would have that in my house in a 💓
Beautiful!!!
This is lovely 😍
When I did my vinyl flooring I used a spatula at first and then switched to a paint roll for the glue. Really worked well for me.
Imagine if you hade the cabinets like a purple or light sage green tho-
It somehow fits better than whatever was there before maybe get to nostalgia microwave and toaster to get fun colors too.
Seriously 150 bucks on a new stove would go a long way!! The energy cost for the stove alone will have that apartment sitting or you will get a no so great tenant !!!
Agree. There’s retro and there’s just old. New appliances look much more appealing.
New would be more like $400+.
I LOVE your yellow oven!
Looks good😊 you could paint the oven with appliance paint. I've done it. It works 😊
Love these, please share your tool list for this particular DIy
That looks adorable
It looks great❤🎉
So cute!!!🥰
I did my kitchen floor exactly like this only in black and white. It’s a really cool retro look. Maybe you could spray that stove blue.
I love vintage if I could I really want a vintage house I love the stylr
I think it was seeing cuz u didn’t use one of those “comb” spatulas that help you regulate and even out the amount of glue
I hope you consider getting the stove repainted in a different color.
Idk if you’re keeps the brown, but with the yellow and blue, I swoon!
This reminds me of a Barbie sorta Kitchen
Love the floor. ❤
I love the colors. Where are these tiles from?
Ooooh I really like the colour
Looks like my dream kitchen
I have a similar one

THAT TOOL SAID QUINN! MY NAME IS QUINN!!!!
You can paint to stove with appliance paint ..
My dad is a tile setter he's been doing it for 40 years so I need to show him this because he's so old school, I don't think he knows this tool even exists!
Make me back in part 4 pls

Nice job on the floor.
Great!!!! U could paint the stove
They’ll never last being layed on thin adhesive spread like that. There’s a very specific way to spread out adhesive for it to hold a long time.

Love these tiles! Where are they from? :)
Omg i love
It looks like a 90s kitchen
You know it's a old apartment when the stove is yellow
more finger snapping transitions please =)
I like it ❤
I have vinyl tile at my work and it is very difficult to clean. Its not glossy like tile where dirt slides off.
Why don't you paint the kitchen furniture white? And the stove - you can also pait it with a vaporisator any colour! It would look great!
I’m so glad you didn’t gut that cute mcm kitchen. The floors are darling
WOW!!!!
When you have perfect floor
Do not add too much adhesive. It will seep thru the joints and make the floor impossible to clean.
I'm sorry, but as a child of the 70's I have to tell you the stove is "Harvest Gold". 😊
Who know a USEFULL machine could be the same name as me (the first one said Quinn eeeee)
