It was very comforting for some reason, so this is great for me. I spend 3mths in hospital one 4 weeks in a Coma. I now suffer with PTSD. Rain sound is the only way I can fall asleep and stay sleeping. I can’t sleep at nights, so during the daytime I sleep with loud rain sound. I’m not sure if I really wanted to see how you captured the sound. All rain no thunder or lightning. It’s raining way too hard to not have a little rumbling of thunder. Keep doing your thing*
When I fall asleep I like to fantasize that I am on a boat with a tin roof, bobbing on an endless sea in the rain. I have a speaker on either side of my bed to lull me to sleep. I alternate with a blizzard video, where I pretend I am in a cave on a mountainside. I listen to pink noise videos while imagining I am in a cabin on a spaceship. I used to have racing thoughts in bed at night, but nature sounds allow me to calm my mind enough to fall asleep. After years of practice, I consider my sleeping habits to be a kind of self hypnosis.
