Make sure your phone doesn't get too hot while charging. If it gets hot after you plug it in, remove it for 5 minutes and let your phone cool down. And then plug it back. 5. Don't charge your phone in the car while it's out in the sun. 6. Don't leave your phone in the car glove box Or in the car While it's sunny outside. 7. Use a phone cooler while playing games On your phone. 8. Don't refrigerate your phone. It can damage it. 9. Avoid charging your phone wirelessly while it's hot. Peace and keep ur phone cool 🥶

To come around this problem, I just use a very thin leather case, no need to remove it while charging. just keep the fan on while charging. Not using the phone while charging helps a lot. also I noticed that with powerbanks, the phone tends to overheat so it is advisable to use official cable and adapter for charging (not just for the iPhone, but for any phone) I also use oneplus 9pro and it is the same story. it is not just for the iPhones

Would it be a good idea to exchange the battery or purchase any new iPhone? Also please clarify if I charge the battery from 30-80% two times a day, will that affect my battery in long run?
1. If the battery goes below 80% get it changed. 2. iPhone 7 is quite an old device however as your mom uses it I don’t think she will need the latest and greatest so you can make it last a few more years but getting a new one will be ideal. 3. Try to charge your phone once a day and try not to discharge it from let’s say 100/90-80% to 30-20% twice or more times a day if you do that it wears your battery out faster.
Bruh if you worry whether to charge phone once or twice this much it’s better don’t buy expensive phones such as iphone. The point of having a phone is comfort and use it however one like it. Now ofc don’t do activities which will affect too much in the long run

I charge my iPhone 14 pro between 30 and 80 % for past 6 month and yesterday mine battery health drop to 99% and I know all tricks but still drop it 1% though I used xr previously and i maintained 100% for a year but in 14 pro it’s won’t maybe with always on feature it can affect I guess but now I charge my iPhone over night and start my day with 100% battery rather than half ass battery and don’t let it down to 30% . And don’t worry it just a battery I find charging between 30-80% is really not worth as u need to charge twice a day and annoying sometime . Better plug it over night and use whole day and plug it again if drop to 30% to 50-60% and than charge overnight simple . Battery is just a thing and don’t waste mind and time thinking too much about it 😂
