You would have to apply the threshold tool after resizing. Being non-vector, there's no way to preserve the image exactly after resizing. The threshold tool will give you back hard edges, summarizing gradients.
How would you have this effect but also have it for print. Once you do some over the top bitmapping resolution is fried. Any help would be great Cheers
Create a larger file at the start, for print I would recommend making the starting file to the desired print size and then playing with the bitmap options to get the result you want.
@@LouisMoss What I found to to get a really 8 bit looking text you have to lower the resolution super low. Maybe if i start with an overly large file then work down to 300 dpi, will that work? maybe this way isn't ideal for print.... (:
