Thank you Sister True Dedication. That is one of the most beautiful and peaceful speech I’ve listened to. Ultimately, humans are facing an unpredictable calamity, and we are causing this to ourselves. I hope your speeches will reach world’s politicians somehow. The ending part where you suggested if we don’t make a change our civilization will end, should make the headline for awakening. If the world politicians have half a day to practice mindfulness and listen to your speech, they might re-think about their moves during war time and save the world.

@Nathalie Larzo... if only this were true in all cases. Unfortunately, it's simply a 'hit or miss', 50% chance that what you've noted will apply. The people who 'did all the right things' and STILL failed aren't here to refute what you're saying because... they didn't make it. They're either dead, or literally on the dark precipice, awaiting it. I'm nearly there, but I happen to have enough marbles left in my brain to bother posting about it. Not that anyone will listen. 🙄 Invisibility is the gift and curse of 'those who did all the right things and still failed'. It's all mostly LUCK. 90% or more of it, at least. And my 10% has *not* been enough because the universe just... didn't agree. 😊
Ted Turner was rich from the moment he was born. He had EVERY opportunity (by luck) which granted him avenues toward success. Sure, he had to do his 10%, but the UNIVERSE did the other 90%, lol. Don't think for even a single minute that ANYONE who is successful, famous, influential, etc. became so due to *anything* other than (mostly) luck. Difference is... that they get nowhere. 😕
I think we need to define what it means to quit. It IS okay to change course if the course is stewed in toxicity or you feel devalued (say, a job where you are not appreciated or even bullied etc.) I think winning is winning over your emotions and accepting them and responding to them in such a way that you can be a responsible, fully healed adult. You might leave avenues that are not truly good for you then. :)
