In my 74 years on this earth I've witnessed a lot of great athletes come and go. No one...and I mean NO ONE...has captured my enthusiasm and heart like Caitlin Clark. From the genuine human goodness at her core, her fierce competitive instincts, her ridiculous 30 foot net burners, her mind-blowing passes, the class, the character, the phenomenon she has become, yet always taking the time to smile and sign autographs that may someday fuel a child's dream...she is a national treasure...and has earned and is worth of all the admiration and accolades that come her way. And the best is yet to come. 🙂

Ive never in my life looked forward to a single WNBA season until now solely because of CC and I still to this day find that so hilarious ☠🤣 she is THAT good and fun to watch like seriously
Just so you know, you’re not the only one! lol I have never watched a WNBA game in my life until this season and I watched every second of every Fever game! Oh, and what’s worse, I loved her recent training video, I keep up with the Draft predictions, I’m watching what European players are doing to see who they might sign in free agency or the draft and hoping they sign Satou Sabally!! So, I get it, never in a million years!
Hi Rachel, I'm 73 years old Japanese man and have been watching your channel from Yokohama, Japan. I found Caitlin Clark video several months ago on UA-cam. I didn't play basketball so much in my life except a little in the high-school class and wasn't interested in it particularly women's basketball. Basketball isn't a popular sport in Japan and very few professional players, all men exist since 2010? There are no women pros of basketball in Japan. So as a Japanese I'm very normal but now I've been looking for women basketball videos on UA-cam everyday particularly Caitlin Clark and occasionally comment like this. I think you are absolutely right about her role for Women's basketball and Women's sports. She is one of the GOATS of the college and WNBA but her influences beyond those small world. People like me who has no interest in Women's basketball through the life has been attracted with her play and herself. I think she is more revolutionary and gives bigger effect on the sports than MJ and women's lives at least in the US. MJ is great but NBA was already the big professional sport enterprise before MJ joined it. There had been a lot of GOATS before MJ and NBA was well established when MJ came but Caitlin is in totally different situations. WNBA has not been making enough money to support itself without NBA help and able to pay not-professional-sport-level salary for the players. The even couldn't afford charter flight before CC joined the league. She single-handedly change everything around her and it's just starting. I'll continue to watch her progress and your channel in 2025. Keep up your good job and let me know about CC and WNBA. I hope someday CC and you will visit Japan and talk to me face to face!
Hello, I'd like to speak about CC's global appeal from a personal perspective. I'm 78 and an old lady from England. I have never had any interest in basketball, my favourite sport is football (soccer) and my team is Liverpool. However, a couple of months ago a couple of CC's games popped up and I was entranced, she is so gifted and I just couldn't look away. If CC does come over to Europe, she will receive the biggest welcome. We love and appreciate skill and dedication and Caitlin has it in abundance.
Liverpool is my favorite team as well. I am an American living in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up playing soccer in the DC area. I am 66 now, and those days are long gone. I remember, though, when Pele came to America to try to popularize the sport. He took the country by storm, embracing and encouraging quite a few kids in the process. I had already been playing for years, but our leagues grew from 6 or 8 teams to 16 team leagues, 24 team leagues. It became a very real sport here from then on. There was always the promise of the next generation. Now, we are routinely ranked in the top 10-15 teams in the world. I see the same thing potentially with the introduction of this skinny girl from Iowa in basketball, a sport I never embraced as a player. I would occasionally follow it but didn't play it. Then Michael Jordan transformed the NBA. Now it is Caitlin's turn with the WNBA, assuming they allow her to. They are providing doubt that they WANT to let her be the force and face of the transformation of the league. They don't seem to get that this is likely a make or break thing for them. They go with it, or they go down without it.
I'm from the Philippines and I bought a wnba pass and had to wake up at 3am just to watch CC's games. Also, I'm in a gc with CC's fans from Australia, Africa and South America. Her games abroad will be sold out fast for sure.
@cosmikgirlx. The Philippines would be awesome! Many Americans might not know, but basketball is the national sport in your country. I know first-hand. I've been fortunate to travel there and found teenagers playing basketball barefoot 5-on-5 in the warm summer rain. Knowing that I was a foreigner, they invited me to join in. Recall hitting my first two shots...felt like Michael Jordan. But then proceeded to brick the next five...oh, well. At any rate, that would be a great starting point in southeast Asia.
@@brianwoods9552 oh yeah. You can see a lot of make shift basket courts here in the Philippines. You can really tell that we're a basketball country and are really passionate about it. It would be great if Fever can play one of their games here.

That's so crazy! I'm from cc's hometown, so I've always wondered if I'm so captivated by her because she's a hometown girl, or if she just THAT magnetic? It seems she just THAT magnetic! Lol
@@js77z Caitlin Clark has just started her professional career and she is already a big star in Europe. I know something about it because I am from Poland and there is a lot of talk about her here. She's a great athlete and person.
I'm an Iowan. I started watching CC in highschool via video clips. While her basketball skills are what everyone sees... as an Iowan, her interaction with the fans especially young girls and boys is what has elevated her. She is real, she is humble and she takes the time to interact and does so with joy. That is where she got a fan following, as much as her spectacular play on the court. No matter what happened, she has a smile and takes time to give back to the kids. She has become the best player on the court, and she has always been the best player off it.
In other words, she shows every sign that she's not forgotten where she came from and honors her roots and the hard work that got her where she is, core values she is willing to display for others to see and emulate.
I've been saying for the past year that staying at Iowa was the best choice that CC22 could have ever made. Playing for a legendary coach/school like UConn, South Carolina, LSU etc, the coach or program would've overshadowed her OR she would have never gotten enough credit because these schools often carry five or more McDonald's All-Americans. She was also blessed to have Lisa Bluder as a coach who leaned into Caitlin Clark...and structured the team around CC22's superpowers. The other aspect that many overlook is her charisma. Even if Juju, Hannah and Paige put up similar numbers none of them literally interacts with and ignites home crowds like CC22.
Caitlin, Iowa Hawkeyes, Indiana Fever ... It's a Cinderella story and keeps getting only better. She is a global Mega Star. Just look at all the comments you get on your podcast from all over the world. And needless to say I love your podcast and the way you present your topics. Keep it going Rachel.
I live in the Chicago area and remember that a female Bball player for Iowa was causing a ticket frenzy and tickets were going for thousands and was like what? Start watching in the final 8 and have watched every game since.
It’s still stunning to truly see how well Caitlin prepared herself for the business and media aspectsof the WNBA. She is involved in many projects that we haven’t seen yet. I think she is destined for something far bigger in life than having an amazing, successful basketball career.
I’m 62 from the land down under I’ve been watching Caitlin from her first year in college only through watching one video on utube and been watching since she’s taken that has gone into the fever to make everyone shine but I think Christie side didn’t know how to use her and the other players to her advantage so I hope the new coach does really well with them love watching you show
Because Caitlin transitioned to the WNBA so quickly after her college career ended it is easy to have her college career get lost in the conversation. When you combine the records and how she finished her college career and then the records and how she did in the WNBA, it is hard to think of anyone more impactful as an athlete in a single year. You were able to highlight both of her worlds. Great job.
I am a 64 years old french man residing in Haiti i used to watch the NBA when Michael Jordan played i am watching now because of CC and it feels the same she is something else by the i appreciate your comments 👏
It's scary to think of all the records she's made and broken, and add in the awards she's received, it puts her in a class of very very few atheletes who have excelled in their chosen sport.😊
When you think, there are elite athletes have not achieved this level in their entire career. But she has achieved this in just 2024. It is nuts. If the Fever can gather the right pieces around her, what could her career look like in 5 years time?
Like I said in the beginning of her rookie year in the WNBA I said "CAITLIN CLARK IS GOING TO BE THE MICHEAL JORDAN OF THE WNBA" and Caitlin has delivered just like Micheal Jordan other players are jealous of her success and just like Micheal Jordan she has taken her sport global!!! But NIKE has really screwed the pouch on Caitlin Clark though they could have made $billions with a CC22 shoe and clothing line!!
It's also about the off court stuff too. Her charitable foundation, her visits to Children's Hospital across the country, her speeches at schools to inspire kids, her scholarship foundation to help underprivileged kids get a chance to go to college they might not otherwise have a chance at, all of these also added to this award.
Merry Christmas everyone!! And sorry for the delay on RADmas. Can’t believe we only have one video left.. thank you for all the support, you guys are the best 😊!!
*UN VERDADERO PLACER !!!*FELICITACIONES POR TAN LINDO, GENEROSO Y SOLIDARIO GESTO DE SU PARTE PARA CON LOS MEJORES AMIGOS !!!* *ESPERO Y DESEO QUE ÉSA DINÁMICA, (Y EN DIFERENTES OPCIONES); SE VUELVAN UNA CONSTANTE DURANTE TODO EL PRÓXIMO AÑO*
I am from Canada, and before CC i couldnt name more the 5 wbna teams, i now know all the teams and even learning more about other players, (although only interested in CC), i also now know about this channel, and since learning about it, i dont think ive missed a single video or short, keep up the great work and great CC support and commentary 👏🏾
She didn’t need to be there tbh and she probably wouldn’t have played that much anyway being a rookie on an Olympic team. It’s better that she wait for 2028 so she’ll have a chance to be a starter and more polished as a player.
When the WNBA first started I watched a few games. If was so bad I stopped watching until I stumbled upon a Kaitlyn Clark highlight video. I started watching again and I was entertained. It is so much better than it used to be. I am now a fan again thanks to her.
Caitlin is one of those athletes who will do anything to be the best at her sport. Her sheer want and drive is phenomenal. An athlete of this caliber time is fleeting, and it is truly beautiful to watch. Thank you, Caitlin, for bringing me to basketball to witness all the things you will do in the future.
Caitlin Clark is just 22 years old and just in her 2nd year in WNBA this coming season. I'm sure more records and accolades will be bestowed on her. Whenever her 3s are falling in, we shout here in the Philippines "UWIAN NA". MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎇 TO ALL especially to you Ms. Rachel Ann.💖💖💖
I started watching because of Caitlin. She reminded me of watching Jordan and Walter Payton when I was a kid in Chicago. I fell for the Fever because all of them reminded me of the fire and heart my daughter and her teams played with. CC is the spark that reignited the passion of many, fans and her team. Kelsey and Erica keep hooping and showing us your magic. Aliyah and Lexie keep busting that work ethic and showing Youngins what they can be. Temi make us proud in San Fran❤. And CC and the rest, can't wait to see what you all have cooking for us in 2016. Merry Christmas.
I've never tuned in to WNBA before CC. And I cerrainly found your channel because of CC 😊 And now not only a fan of CC from the Philippines, but a fan of you as well ❤
Rachel, your coverage of the phenomenon that is Caitlin Clark has nothing short of amazing, It's obvious that you just "get it" Thank you for you show.
You watch CC with the kids after the game, or walking in, or at other events. She takes her time to let them know they are important. She deserves everything she is getting. Anyone who can not handle that, all I can say is, maybe you should change your ways. And then she does a lot of side things, and does not promote it, or talk about it, cause she is trying to help someone, not make herself the center of the universe. Most who have issues with Caitlin seem to have a deep need to be the center of the universe.
I am so thankful that by watching Caitlin in college and following her to the WNBA I have been introduced to so many great women players in the WNBA. Until I tuned in to see what Caitlin would do next at Iowa, in all honesty, I did not know the WNBA existed. But, now I know of, respect and appreciate the likes of Sheryl Swoopes, Maya Moore, Rebecca Lobo, Diana Taurasi, and so many more. Because of Caitlin, my life has been truly enriched.
I am living in Switzerland. If the Fever came anywhere in Europe I would do my best to get tickets for my grand-niece (9 years old and plays basketball) and myself to watch. Really hope it happens. Keep up the great presentations.
Like Caitlin I grew up in Iowa playing girls’ basketball and many other sports in high school and attended college there. I married at age 21 and moved to Indianapolis! I had another year to finish college, which I did at Butler University, where CC’s boyfriend Connor is now an assistant coach. We eventually moved to stints in Taiwan and Japan before returning to Indianapolis, where I still live. I became enamored with watching Caitlin Clark while visiting family in Iowa during CC’s junior year and watched her in the NCAA tournament that year and again in 2024. I attended my very first WNBA game this summer to watch Caitlin and the Fever. I became so mesmerized that I was like an addict, never wanting to miss a game. Now I’ve got my friends in Japan watching CC too!
I would love to see you do a video about your journey in following CC, from the time you first heard about her, first time watched her play, first time realizing she may be something special. Really enjoy your thoughts and insights ❤
Caitlin Clark deserves all these recognitions with out any doubt. She has the biggest global fandom out of all the WNBA players. She is a phenomenal.🤗✊👍
A 59 years old Swede, never ever cared about basketball. YT gave me a suggestion to watch a vid about CC in the beginning of the season. I have seen hundreds of YT-vids since then. :)
Caitlin deserves every award she's gotten. I watch her and didn't care one bit about women's basketball until the first moment I saw her playing. She is simply wonderful and the evident and obvious hatred and envy from the other players who are being schooled by her just enhances the thrill of watching Sport. However, Carrington's eye-poke is criminal and Caitlin did not deserve that, no one does!
I never watched more than a game or two previous years but probably 20 or more this year because it caught my interest and followed the whole league because of her. Actually became a Lynx fan. But even without all the interest I'd say she deserves it because she basically played 2 seasons. And was player of the year in college and 3rd in WNBA. These awards were a no-brainer.
Another great video - I agree with your assessment of why she won them 💯 on point as usual 😅 I’m a global fan based in Australia who has never watched or been interested in the WNBA until Caitlin arrived and I was totally unaware of her college record and following…
I am so glad I saw Caitlin's clips on FB and subbed to the W in time to watch her early enough to appreciate her growth through her rookie season. I will def sub once the play starts again. Merry Christmas Annamarie 🎄
Bring her to the Philippines!!! We love and adore CC22!!! 😊!!! We love and adore you as well.. very comprehensive and very fair in all your topics making it very interesting!! 😊
The reason Rocky was such a huge hit and such a beloved movie was not because he won, he didn't but because he went the distance when no one expected him to. He didn't pretend to be something he was not he was just a humble nice guy which resonated with people and while he is fictional CC has a lot of those same qualities. No, she didn't beat LSU or Carolina but most people were amazed she got Iowa to those final games and while she lost, she went down swinging and handled her defeats with grace and dignity. She wasn't manufactured she wasn't built up her game and demeanour just resonate with fans.
I started watching during the middle years of Bird/Magic. Incredible! Followed Michael from college into the NBA, all the way through! Michael is the only one who captured me like Caitlyn has! When he decided something, it happened! His will! I see that in Caitlyn! Now, he was both ends of the court, and while she is a pretty good defender, she will grow a lot there. He is elite. Yet she has Michael in passing, though he could have been there if he wanted, just like with 3's. Both were/are attacked by over physically play. The one big contrast I see is Michael never had to deal with so much crap from inside the league. And Caitlyn, above Michael, has overcome that crap to shine like a blazing star, reaching out directly to children... priceless!
😂 yessssss, well deserved,it doesn't matter what haters say, just makes Caitlin Clark even more profitable and raised her to be the most likable and more famous, keep on talking,I'm loving it. Only reason AJa or Reese is brought up is because they keep bringing it up...means more $$$$$$$ money 🤑🤑🤑 for Caitlin... awwwwsome ❤️
Your videos are always awesome...this has got to be one of my favorites...you knocked this one out of the park! Your analysis and breakdown has me realizing why I enjoy Caitlin in ways I never realized I did.
Add in she is a proudly great commentator. I listened to what she had to say a lot. Other players that speak on other teams at times are really not well spoken. Can’t wait for the first scrimmage game! Yeh. I enjoy it that much. Mid 50s guy. I live in Philly. … Saw Jordan play one time. It moved me spiritually…. Hope to see a C C play live as well.
It has been a perfect storm for CC when she decided to go to Iowa. Geno would not have allowed CC to shoot logo 3s or dribble the ball. So glad he passed up on her. There are some similarities to Jordan, but Jordan was on a different level. The whole world wanted to be like Jordan. Not only did Jordan put the NBA on the map, but he also put Basketball on the map.
The WNBA and some players are starting to look rather petty with their takes, comments etc on C#. If she & the Fever come to play an exhibition game in the UK I'd take my whole family to see her play. Such a perfect role model for my 19 year old daughter. Wifey managed to snag me a Fever Huddy & daughter got me a Fever Cap for Christmas so I am a happy old dude. Seasons greeting to you & your family & a peaceful & prosperous New Year. Keep up the content & hope your enjoying France.
Hi Rachel, thanks for another great video. I’m a huge CC fan from the middle east, from Saudi Arabia! Honestly, I’m only interested in her games! She is amazing Basketball player and even better person. I’m inspired by how she dealt with all the negativity , “ physicality” , and toxic behavior from the WNBA and some toxic players. She truly inspired me and gave me motivation to deal with some toxic stuff at work! If CC can raise above all this toxic negativity and come out a victor, then I should only strive to do the same thing and not let the toxicity around me dim my light.
Thanks for putting the Radmas videos out. I could get used to daily videos! You always find great content and I find myself looking for your video drop. Being a CC22 fan as well as a Rachel DeMita fan, I vote for daily drops as a way to enter the mainstream to become a Fever news drop. Happy holidays!!
It is very difficult for anyone to argue that the WNBA was doing GREAT, or even very good. or strong! 28 years of mediocre performance resulting in losing money hand over fist is not a great business model! Clark is the savior for the WNBA! Those women are just to prideful and arrogant to admit it!
that’s exactly it…like always you hit the nail right on the head..some people just don’t understand that Caitlin Clarks impact on a sport namely the WNBA was massive..all of the other athletes that were considered for these awards are great athletes but their impact paled in comparison to Caitlin Clarks impact plain and simple…if there is people on the moon they now know who Caitlin Clark is.
In my 74 years on this earth I've witnessed a lot of great athletes come and go. No one...and I mean NO ONE...has captured my enthusiasm and heart like Caitlin Clark.
2024 was the year I became a WNBA fan. Also, 2024 was the year I discovered Rachel Demita.
Yes she deserves every bit of the recognition !!!
Caitlin Clark is the face of basketball 🏀 both men and women.
2025 is going to be even crazier with our beloved Caitlin Clark can’t wait
With the NBA having so many unlikeable stars it makes sense. She carries herself well and is a great ambassador for the game overall
Speaking of "unlikable stars"! Do you have anybody particular in mind that you don't like in the NBA? Just curious!😂
It's also about the off court stuff too. Her charitable foundation, her visits to Children's Hospital across the country, her speeches at schools to inspire kids, her scholarship foundation to help underprivileged kids get a chance to go to college they might not otherwise have a chance at, all of these also added to this award.
YES! She deserves EVERY award. She brought the WNBA back to life. She’s a generational talent.
Merry Christmas everyone!! And sorry for the delay on RADmas. Can’t believe we only have one video left.. thank you for all the support, you guys are the best 😊!!
*UN VERDADERO PLACER !!!*FELICITACIONES POR TAN LINDO, GENEROSO Y SOLIDARIO GESTO DE SU PARTE PARA CON LOS MEJORES AMIGOS !!!*
*ESPERO Y DESEO QUE ÉSA DINÁMICA, (Y EN DIFERENTES OPCIONES); SE VUELVAN UNA CONSTANTE DURANTE TODO EL PRÓXIMO AÑO*
Happy new year, Rachel love from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Merry Christmas!
Caitlin Clark, you are the goat!
Caitlin rocks, most fanbase and mostly the best wnba player to be remembered and talked about for years.
Crown 👑 Caitlin Clark! She is Queen!!!🏀⛹️♀️
CC is huge in Australian BBall fans
Cannot agree more, Rachel, all great points. One of the best things I think CC does is evaluate teammates around her, making everyone better
You go Girl this 72 year old Marine loves your pod cast.
Glad you enjoy it!! And thank you for your service 🙏🏼.
@@donaldk.macbaird5248 Yes thank you for your service Semper Fi
I remember people at the Olympics asking why Caitlyn Clark was not there, that demonstrated she had already had a global impact!
Thank you, Rachel for sticking to your guns and staying with Caitlin Clark. Yes she is the face of basketball 🏀. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Bless you Rachel for helping out the dogs and cats.
Bruh, Rachel is so pretty!
With golf she also raised the numbers on 2 sports.
Am from the Philippines, not a bb enthusiast, but now watches CC games only and found your channel, all because of Caitlyn Clark.
Agree CC is the face of basketball. I’ll make time to watch her play and attend her games in person, not anyone else I would do that
Caitlin has a global fan base! ❤
Great points. And it truly was a perfect storm scenario for Caitlin and women's basketball .
CC Global success is PEAK!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Congratulations Caitlin Clark for your achievement and success. God bless you in all you do.
We love you Rachel and we thank you a lot for sharing things about the phenomenon called Caitlin Clark
❤❤❤❤❤❤🇵🇭
I luv cc22 from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I've never tuned in to WNBA before CC. And I cerrainly found your channel because of CC 😊 And now not only a fan of CC from the Philippines, but a fan of you as well ❤
Same here bro...I've never tuned in to WNBA before CC.
Good to see you!! Yes, congrats CC. No need to share it with anyone, it’s well deserved! What a year young lady 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Let’s go Fever!
Congrats again Caitlin, from your fans here in the Philippines
Love Caitlin and your show, saludos desde Bolivia
Rachel, your coverage of the phenomenon that is Caitlin Clark has nothing short of amazing, It's obvious that you just "get it"
Thank you for you show.
I’m so excited for W season. It’s so much better than the NBA right now.
For real! I tried to watch an NBA game yesterday and it was soooo boring!
I'm from the Bahamas and I love her
You watch CC with the kids after the game, or walking in, or at other events.
Well I like your comments bang on 72 new Zealand love it keep going. Happy new year Roger.
thanks for your help with the animals 😘
Rachel, I enjoy your commentary. Beautiful, smart and knowledgeable
Merry Christmas to all, Rachel, enjoying Christmas with your family is the most important thing, blessings, have a great time.Happy 2025
You were on this from the git-go! Love hearing your take on most things but especially women’s basketball.
I Love CC & your Chanel, I've been watching CC since NCAA, I'm from Indonesia.
About time❤❤❤ Merry Christmas Rachel from the Philippines🎉🎉
Caitlin Clark deserves all these recognitions with out any doubt. She has the biggest global fandom out of all the WNBA players. She is a phenomenal.🤗✊👍
A 59 years old Swede, never ever cared about basketball. YT gave me a suggestion to watch a vid about CC in the beginning of the season. I have seen hundreds of YT-vids since then. :)
She absolutely deserves it!!!!😊🎉❤ Merry Christmas Rachel!!!!❤🎅
She's a phenomenon
The sad thing is dat all the people in the WNBA Bubble can't see what the people outside the bubble of WNBA see 😂😂😂😂😂😎👊🏾🌲
They see it. They ignore the great, they love the hate.
One of your best videos
I'm from Indonesia. I watching WNBA again since Candace Parker because of CC this Year. Go CC👍🏾
Congrats Caitlin Clark your awesome!!!!!!! She deserves everything she is getting. Proud of Caitlin Clark!!!🎉🏀🪅🏀🎉🥰🥰
Caitlin Clark you deserve it congratulations
Clack has a gravitational pull on the sport of basketball that draws us in!!
Congrats CC! More Power! 🇵🇭
Yes CC deserves it❣️❣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bravo!!!! DeMita
Thank you so much!!! I’d love to get to the place where I’m uploading daily.. hopefully sometime soon 🙏🏼.
