Jalen has been good on defense this year. He’s averaged 24 since thanksgiving, 30 in January. He started like this but Sengun and Fred were struggling so they took the ball out his hand and he suffered from it. Once he got it back and actually had someone who pushed pace with him in in the starting lineup he’s back to it
Finally someone who watches the games. That’s exactly what happened. He was averaging like 29 in the first 5 games but Sengun was struggling, so they started spamming Fred/Sengun pnrs. Got Jalen out of his rhythm and he got knicked up.
Bingo. He started the season well then Udoka stopped prioritizing him as our best player (which he is) for Fred and Sengun. When you look at Jalen's stats when he shoots the ball at least 20 times a game, you can see that his efficiency is good and he always scores well when doing it also.
Jalen has been an incredible defender lol. He’s locked up stars 1on1 several times this season. If he was bad he would be attacked in PnRs and he’s not
Despite his inconsistent offense, JG has been consistent this year on defense. Last year, when he had those poor defensive efforts, he was benched immediately. Ime holding Green accountable for his defensive efforts really helped him develop into an immensely good defender. JG would be one of the best perimeter defenders on many other NBA teams. But having guys like Tari, Dillon Brooks, and Amen on the same team, his defense goes unnoticed
You guys are some of the most fair when it comes to analyzing Green but Zach Lavine being the ceiling for Green is unhinged. Zach Lavine was not this good at 22. Look at their respective 4th year advanced stats like BPM. Lavine had a literal negative VORP. "feel for the game"? wut. It isn't even in the same ball park. Come one dudes. Be reasonable.
It is not about Jalen Green being consistent. Ime Udoka should've made Jalen Green the Number #1 Option in the beginning. Alperen Sengun and Fred VanVleet have messed up the beginning of the Season with all those missed Game Winners.
My man Jalen knows how to trick you every year 😂this year he decided to be in allstar game so he is january jalen green , he is very talented at tricking for 1-2 months
WHEN MOST PEOPLE SAID TRADE JALEN GREEN BECAUSE HIS INCONSISTENT! I TOLD PEOPLE THAT THE PROBLEM WAS HE'S NOT THEIR NUMBER 1 OFFENSIVE OPTION! GUESS I'M PRETTY RIGHT!
At this point i only watch the nba talking heads to enjoy the Green criticism. Green has been a great defender this year. My guys watch the f-ing games before you record on a team.
Players had a Team Meeting and told Fred VanVleet he needs to take a backseat and be a spot up shooter and Jalen Green and Amen Thompson are Ballhandling and running Team Plays.
I like Jalen Green, as a pistons fan we’ve made a mini rivalry with him and Cade but genuinely I hope he performs wells cause he does have a lot of potential. My only thing is, is this time or the yearly trend of him playing like a top 25 guy for 3 weeks then back to just being a streaky guy?
Hes been good at the start of the season, was sick in November and started to ball again in December. It's not March yet but he's already playing like March Jalen but against top teams.

Jg is a top defender at his position this year.

Yeah, he locked up Jayson Tatum when we played them this year. He's been amazing this year
He low key is a point of attack, but that's because the rest of them dude are dogs on defense.
Jalen Green is a 22 year old emerging superstar in this league.
💯

He also was getting an unfavorable whistle which hurt his efficiency despite clearly getting fouled
Jalen has been really good on defense this year.

top 10 offense in 2025 lets go rockets. JG is a plus defender at the very least
We’re top 10 for the whole season not just 2025
Greens better than Lavine now and at age 22 Lavine was not doing what Jalen does
It is not about Jalen Green being consistent. Ime Udoka should've made Jalen Green the Number #1 Option in the beginning. Alperen Sengun and Fred VanVleet have messed up the beginning of the Season with all those missed Game Winners.
Zach Lavine is not even close to Jalen at age 22.
Zach Lavine got traded and gotten injured for many seasons.
This jalen green breakout year 🔥
My man Jalen knows how to trick you every year 😂this year he decided to be in allstar game so he is january jalen green , he is very talented at tricking for 1-2 months

These guys said maybe top 50. 😂😂😂
He’s top 50 rn
Sengun's defense has been beyond poor and is the worst defender on the team. Yet Jalen's defense is mentioned lol
January Jalen? Dissecting Jalen is pointless. He's playing like the best player on the planet
At this point i only watch the nba talking heads to enjoy the Green criticism.

Preppy boy is one of those nerds that will be wrong. Zach Lavine? Zach Lavine is not even close to Jalen Green at age 22.

Rockets supporter here, Pistons are one of my Favorite Teams. Cade and Ausar hope his health get better, Jaden Ivy hope he recovers.
Every year he has one month he goes off then he’s inconsistent the rest of the year
fallin for this shit again huh?
He’s been doing it since November so yeah
@ we just met and you already lying to me 🤦🏾♂️
@@betweendalinesnbapodcast3733 look it up for yourself. He’s been averaging 24 ppg since nov 27 on good efficiency
@@betweendalinesnbapodcast3733 is a fact. Literally go do your research
@@betweendalinesnbapodcast3733 fall for it? No one is trying to trick you. It's just hoops
I groaned like Drew did when I saw this title lmfaooo until he shows consistency I won't talk about anything pertaining to him lol
Very obvious these dudes don’t Watch the rockets. So many outdated takes
Second in the West
