Your videos are like a treasure to me. I always keep the new ones, like got movies, for later. Your state of mind, and your view on music give me back hope in humanity. It is so refreshing to listen to someone who takes music from a fun and creative angle. To my mind your are one of the few , if not the only one that gets what music is , and art in general . So many channels are about technicals, so elitists an so full of themelves. So many lessons given by people who don't have a clue what creating means. But you get it . Every words you say is what I crave to hear , and fail to find . To me, Music is feeling. And sharing the emotions. I always noticed that I made best tunes ( even if they are poorly executed ones ) when I was under strong emotions. They are the ones that stand the test of time. Music is the release point , a way to give a shape to unexpressible things in me. And know I making it as a message in a bottle, like I 'm always talking to myself. But every new one is like gift sent through space to any alien spieces who could care. But you, you''ve got tremendous creative power , a world too share and people who enjoy it. Maybe is it a gift, or a contruct, or force of life, or more. Anyway, you have a beauty and the ability build beautiful ideas, play touching musics, rythms, sounds. You speak with your heart, with true honesty. . You could compress all other channels in few minor subjets. But yours , for me, is exceptionnal like waking up from the matrix ;-) . What could I say ? Bravo for all the videos you share . A simple "thank you" sounds thin. But with all my admiration: Thank you Cory.

Great video! I came across your content after someone recommended your CinePerc review during the glitchy sale a few months back, and your reviews have been some of the best videos I've seen for perusing sample libraries. Inspiring stuff. Glad to see you're posting videos again!

You always get my creative side excited each time I watch one of your vids. Thanks a bunch for making videos that only include the most fire libraries you've sorted through. Also, much respect for even composing your own custom demo tracks each time. You're fire at making music!!!

This is a really nice approach. I generally prefer to use audio 'loops' or phrases directly rather than going through a sampler; but I have to say, this is a great way to audition lots of different ideas, and so a great way to make the most of those moments of creative play as they build up over time. Thanks!

The point of this video is to make people more creative, but the reliance on Kontakt is very restrictive. I use loops and phrases made by other people all the time in my music and while I have loaded multisamples and loops into Kontakt before, I've found that throwing them onto the playlist where I can cut them up, add effects, resample them etc. gives me the best result in terms of turning something into something new.

I should just give up. I'm honestly tired and I'm struggling to find a point making these videos. I've been on the precipice of exiting this life for some years now and I can't shake the feeling of being utterly useless no matter what I do. I can't win this fight, man. I don't know how much longer I can hold on.

@@CoryPelizzari Aaaah no man, I'm sorry Cory. Wasn't my intention to come off as rude and belittling and I'm sorry that I insulted your effort! This *is* a good video and using Kontakt as a sampler *is* a good idea. I just wanted to share my process. Your videos are inspiring and unique and valuable resources for both professionals and beginners. Even this video made me consider using more loops and samples in orchestral productions.

@@CoryPelizzariI am not sure if I understand your post correctly, but this doesn't sound good. Please take good care of yourself! And get help, if needed.
I enjoy and value your videos, as many others do.
I send you my best wishes!

This is pretty cool, did not know you could do this. I make Multi patches some times tho i think that is similar. have you tried soundpaint player recently? they updated and you can do this real easy, you can have up to 4 patches for an instrument i think , maybe 8. I know you can set 8 of any patch to keyswitches too, it is pretty neat what they are doing.

Sampling is great, but being MIDI, why not simply use musicloops which is non destructive and can save and alter the MIDI info whenever you recall a preset?
