Left Buckeye AZ last year sold at the top of market, he is so right-- we could not take the noise any longer, be warned it is bad, and we found out the model homes built by Standard Pacific, now Lennar had extra insulation, not available in other homes for the noise-live near Atlanta now, due to health issue for wife, needed to be near grandkids, but do not like it here at all, but hear no jet noise, just deer and copperhead snakes-if I remember these homes use to start in the 300k range few years ago.,
Yeah that would be challenging to live with on a regular basis. Definitely good to know so we can continue to pass on proper and honest information. Thanks for the comment!
Don't forget if you buy one of those homes in Goodyear you'll be forced to join an HOA. No thanks, I'll just stay put in my brick home in Phoenix surrounded by palm and citrus trees.
I hear you! That's why I love living in Phoenix as well. But some people would rather have a newer home at a smaller price point so that is one of the extra costs that go along with that.

So glad I live in one of the few greener parts of Phoenix (even if my particular condo is brown stucco). I have heard that all of the brown-stucco boxes built here in the last 30+ years are intended to "blend in with the desert." I suspect that the real reason is that brown stucco boxes won't show the dirt because, well, they're SUPPOSED to look like blocks of dirt - not to mention that builders probably get good discounts on tankers of brown paint. I know that it is too much to expect that builders ever show any unnecessary creativity that could possibly give a neighborhood what people back east, north, and west would call charm, but at least a little effort on the builders' part would be nice. The insides can be nice, of course, but let's be honest - homes and neighborhoods built since 1990 are, by almost anyone's standards, just plain ugly.

There is no restrictions on hours of flights, we would get woke up at 11 PM from the flights
