Sadly the Day of Defeat series which was WW2 died at DOD:Source, deserves a remake with the new engine as it was an excellent game, far more fun to play casually than CS.

They do allow visual mods. Just not in mm though. You can actually play in community servers. I mean, those servers can make you use skins you want. It's kind of the same. I play with a Minecraft Pickaxe as a knife and I'm loving it
they should sell visual mods as skins , for example springfield instead of ssg or something , dont change the stats just visual , would freshen the game up , valorent skins are light years ahead of csgo
@@yerniyazdossanov5992 but one is a new automatic rifle and another is a new variant for a good but still old rifle, most country adopted assault rifles or semi automatic rifles as soon as they could. While CSGO isn't a mil-sim, it doesn't even make sense for any sides in the game to use it.

This would be fun. Make it so it deals like 52 damage to every armored part of the body and make the headshot the same as the AK's. Also make the next bullet load a little bit slower as shown on this video, I think its too fast and would be OP. Make it cost like 2000$. If they added this Id love using this gun.
I really enjoy the look of this mod and I notice some of the comments take note that this weapon looks "out of place" (not in a negative way but simply that it looks outdated compared to the other "modern" weapons), but given the setting of CSGO, it actually makes perfect sense that the T side would have access to this weapon because many insurgent groups in real life are still using WW2 era weapons that were military surplus that were distributed after the war. I think seeing more of these "outdated" weapons to only the Terrorist team would be interesting, fun, realistic, and provide more contrast between the high tech heavily militarized Counter Terrorists and the underdog Terrorists using weapons from a different era.
the reload cancel by firing similar to the xm could be problematic since it somewhat negates the intended draw back of the weapon not having a full mag reload. other than that, seems prtty cool
Boy it would be so cool if they added more replacement weapons to the buy pool like they did with the CZ and R8 and m4. It would give more diversity for skins and they’d probably see a spike in player count again.
This sounds cool but be real valve is way to damn lazy to model a weapon like this. A better way to introduce a weapon like this would be to give a shotgun slug round alt fire. I actually think that sounds better bcz then you could also use it close range.

Here’s my idea for a gun like this. It would be a gun that acts as an alternative purchase to the scout. The scout is best for long range fights while this gun would be good for mid range fights. It would cost around the same as the scout, and the bolt action would be only slightly faster than the scout. The damage for this gun should be 1 head shot, and 2 body shots at close-mid range but drop off to 3 shots at longer ranges. Theoretically, the scout should still win in long range fights, but this gun would win in close to mid range fights, assuming body shots. It also should have no scope and super high accuracy. Basically this would be a good buy for force rounds.

Or limit ammo capacity to like 4 or 5 bullets and make it as unprecise as an AWP when moving and also make it expensive. There are lots of ways to make it not OP. But I guess I am just wishing for something that clearly will never happen. Especially with incompetent CS2 devs.

I always liked the idea of a scout-like bolt weapon whose gimmick was exceptionally accurate hip-fire with instant headshots and two-shot body shots.
Pros:you have no scope
