Excellent video! Have you read Dragon Magick Call on Your Clans to Help Your Practice Soar? I’m new to working with dragons and trying to pick out my first book on the topic. I’ve only worked with a dragon oracle deck so far and felt the call to learn more about dragons.
I have yes. It was a fairly good book as well, however it has a lot less magick in it than the other two she wrote. I will be doing a second video soon on more books for dragon magick, since making this one I have read a few more 🙂

No. I started mine and due to moving house had to stop. I start again but took about 8-10 months to fully complete it. I think all lessons should be done in your own time, at your own speed. We all learn differently and putting a time frame on things needlessly only adds to the pressure.

Hello! I have some trouble understanding your accent, can you or someone else write down the name of the books? Especially the second one I had troubele reading the cover when you showed it! I'm sorry english isnt my first language and i learned the Canadian accent rather than the english accent
We all have writers we like & don’t. I personal really enjoy her work, especially her dragon magick books. There aren’t that many books on dragon magick so I tend to read all the ones I can get my hands on. Hers are certainly some of the best.
@@TheCityWitchUK There definitely aren't a lot of dragon magick books. They all kinda have diffetent goals in mind. I just can't understand why her's are the best. I want to like them, truly. But in MDM, I can't get past the "guided meditations" that scream "controlled fantasy." How can there be room for individual, spiritual experience when you're told word for word what happens? In my personal experience, the best way to practice is to work directly with the dragons that would commune with you, and follow the rituals and practices they bless you with. No hatred is in my intent for my fellow practitioners, especially for followers of the dragons' sacred flame, but tell me about your experiences with Conway's practices, if you would.
I worked through all three of her dragon magick books. I honestly got more out of her ‘Dragon Magick’ book because you get to be creative while learning. You also figure out what type of dragon practitioner you are meant to be, Which I enjoyed discovering. Dancing with dragons is great for learning about the dragons and landing about the different types. For a beginner it’s excellent because you are guided every step of the way and told what you will need. Let’s face it, for beginners this is very comforting. As I am an advanced practitioner I tend to take what works for me and build my own practises around that. Experimenting along the way. I don’t mind guided meditations but I also enjoyed designing my own for dragon magick. If you felt that these mediations were not for you, you could do the same as me and design your own or another option is to travel to the realm of dragons and commune directly with them there which I also do.
@@azairiadraconis3039 I've read some Ascending Flame stuff, and I own one of her books, but that's a different system of magick than dragon magick. The most they share is a name (some of the time depending on who you ask) and some symbolism. None of the dragons I have worked with have suggested or mentioned work with Lucifer or Leviathan and the like, and I've never heard otherwise. I appreciate the suggestion though

I think the main thing is that your enjoying it. I know I did. And I often refer back to the lessons to connect with my dragons.

@@nelcorazs Then go with Asenath mason's books. They are really amazing. Not for beginners and can destroy you of you have the wrong intentions
