#Spoiler Tbh, I feel like the entire lyric of *We are as one* is the major spoiler of Cereza coming back such as "one voice will remain and *we will live again*" "Our voice is the same I'll be by your side again" "the soul/song(?) is the same *we will coming back again*" "We can't wait until this life has passed us by I feel the lunar strength with me can you see what can be when the *sights reunite*"
“To be continued…in a new generation” I can’t even imagine a Bayonetta game without…OUR BAYONETTA OBVIOUSLY?! There has to be some stuff left out like what about Balder and Loki? They’re going to bring back our Bayonetta on the next game watch.
They need to. No one is going to buy a game starting viola. Literally the series JUST started selling well. It would be suicide for Platinum to change their main character from the one everyone already loves
@@JohtoJonnyYT I honestly feel like people are shitting on Viola too hard. Of course she isn't going to be like Jeanne or Cereza. They went through the legit training and exercises to get where they are. Viola had the bare minimum at least and essentially had to find her own path forward. If Jeanne is truly alive in this Verse, Viola has someone who can teach her properly. Combining all the knowledge of Umbran Witches with her faerie lineage has huge potential.
@@JohtoJonnyYT Imagine Someone with grace of Ceraza and the Clumsiness of Luka, I have a feeling if it does have Viola as the main character in 4, She will about the age of Ceraza and a seasoned umbra witch by then, we already saw her getting started off throughout 3, 4 could show her as much more experienced but not as experienced as Ceraza, thou when you think about it theres a high possibility of Loki's return to the series in 4, after all wasnt he basically reborn at the end of 2? And it did say to be in continued in the generation, surely that must count Loki, thou I wonder if Enzos son Ed will have a role in 4, like maybe Viola, Ed and Loki forming some sort of team to basically save the day and fight villans like how Jeanne is cutie J
This makes me feel so much relief actually. I became mixed about the ending, even becoming slightly upset at it. Now, I realized that I competely misunderstood the final fight and ending(partly due to how hype it was lol). Thanks for the solild analysis. This put my heart at ease lol XD
@@JohtoJonnyYT Agreed! I like Viola overall, but I feel that the whole passing of the torch thing, making her Bayonetta in Pure Cereza's world was too soon. If they gave her another game to develop her character, and then do it in a future installment, then that would make more sense. It felt a bit forced...just a bit lol
@@JohtoJonnyYT Btw, do you plan on making a video covering the secret chapter in the game, with the Old Picture Book? Would love to here your thoughts on it at some point lol
@@zecruschanofficial I would play Viola's own game tbh. Don't mind some crossovers with Bayonetta or Devil May Cry. Plenty of people said this already but Nero and Viola on the same screen screams funny. Imagine the DmC crew went utterly confused by Cheshire going nyannyan on them.
@@zecruschanofficial Yeah if they're trying to do something similar to Nero in DMC, then hopefully they take some cues a bit closer to that too. Nero didn't just steal the spotlight and make it his own from then on suddenly. He shared it for 2 games, and I seriously doubt future DMC titles will go without Dante even still. They just elevated Nero up to comparable status. Instead of trying to replace a protagonist, they grew one to exist alongside the frontrunner, which is the best way to go about it in a series so heavily reliant on its charismatic protagonist imo
Basically: Everyone that died during the game are now alive after Cereza Bayonetta broke the balance of Singularity Balance, but this resulted in the cost of her own life. This also means that in Pure Cereza's universe, Viola is being taught by Jeanne since she is now the Bayonetta of that universe while Luka and Cereza are having the hottest vacation of their entire lives. Honestly, this makes more sense and alleviates the tension of the fact that "oh every single universe" is gone, but then seeing Bayo 1 and Bayo 2, reminded me a lot about No Way Home, so yeah all the other Bayonettas are alive in their universes and Jeanne is back to kicking ass as Cutie J as well as have another student in her school . Edit: I just call the Chaotic Rifts Gigunheim.
@@JohtoJonnyYT If we go by your theory when each universe is introuduced, by the end of the game when we see New York back to normal, it doesn't say "Alternate Verse No." on it. This could very well confirmed that it's Bayo 3's universe and Viola is now the Nero working at the Gates of Hell for her contracts.
I'm really not a fan of character deaths, so the ending really saddened me a lot, so much so that I had to step away from the game for several days to process it. However, looking at the events of the story in this way makes me feel a lot better about everything, so thanks for the video.
Honestly I don’t know how to feel about it in this game. We’ve already had many fake out deaths and even had a whole game about taking someone out of inferno to bring them back. Having a death seem final in this series is weird to me. Plus this means the only character we most likely won’t see again unless time travel is explored again is Luka since every version of him is dead now. Bearing in mind I played all these games for the first time in like the last 2 weeks so I’m very fresh to all this 😂
@@lilygreen221 absolutely this video did make me feel good in the sense that all the bayos and jeanne are alive and kicking like nothing happened but in the cost of the little girl we defended and traveled with since day one who is fabulous asf . Biggest punch in the face tbh is them pushing this viola on us who was JUST introduced while offing 2 characters that we loved since day 1 back in the ps3 and xbox 360 days . They could have done so much more and in a totally different direction. Cereza is half lumen and never got sealed away so thats over 500 years of adventure they could have explored and another clan of magic they could have worked with. This outcome is honestly a giant wtf. 😕
thinking about Singularity, thought he was totally fine as a concept, just lacked that classic Balder/loptr type exposition dump at the end to explain his evil plan. Some of his backstory is only found on his bio and documents, wich alot of players won't read, but essentially he was an artificial God of Chaos from the last game, not angel, demon or human, the title Singularity fits it. He started absorbing (no idea how he could contain so much energy) the power of Aesir divided into the multiverse, the reason he got so powerful in the first place is because Bayonetta had already sealed off Aesir and Jubileus, and the Demons for some reason don't attack Homunculi unless enslaved, there was no one to stop it from rising to power and attacking the multiverse with his Homunculi army (wich seem to be based on Buddhism , so the spiritual theme is not lost) creepily made from Human souls/remains. Its really similar to the android David from the Alien series, even in his Bioweapon research!(being a defective AI and all it was also probably acting as a Virus)
@@ciel4492 yes, I think all the variants of Bayo just break free from Singularity, cuz reverse he says so probably they are all back from their universe like nothing happened.
I was bummed by the ending, but this analysis and attention to detail video really made me see the ending more differently, and I actually like it now. Thanks.
When Bayo 1 Cereza touches onto Brave Cereza, Brave Cereza’s cracks (connected to the Left Eye) were sealed away, but while fused with B1 and B2 Cerezas, Brave Cereza however got cracked in the process, losing the Left Eye, and unleashing the bond between her and the other demons she contracted with, except Madama Butterfly. More importantly Ginnungagap is pronounced carefully as Ginn(like gin, the drink)-unga(from the pronunciation of bungalow, however, in one of the Fire Emblem games, it sounds more like oohnga, emphasizing on the U sound)-gap(like the clothing store we all know). In Norse mythology, Ginnungagap (old Norse: [ˈɡinːoŋɡɑˌɡɑp]; "gaping abyss", "yawning void") is the primordial void mentioned in the Gylfaginning, the Eddaic text recording Norse cosmogony. Ginnungagap is also described as a vast, primordial void that existed prior to the creation of the manifest universe.
Once Enzo is on the phone with his kids, who died in the prologue, and Rodin mentioning Luka, it was pretty clear that everything that happened in the World of Chaos (not counting Bayo and Luka going to Inferno, since Paradiso and Inferno exist separately) was undone in the ending.
This , makes me realize that cereza and luka were the only characters that het fucked in the end but jeanne along with all the other bayos are alive and well in their respective world . I doubt it but im hoping when bayo 4 happens ( if it does) its gonna be our bayonetta ( the O.G from part one) or another universe bayo going through adventures to dave cereza or something. or like a bayo thats note on the lumen side of things rather than umbra .
@@Issaviewer91 maybe with Jeanne Still alive now Viola is gonna be the main character with new mechanics to the franchise, and Jeanne being the OG gameplay you play in few character, or as an secret character.
In the ending cutscene it looks like Pure Cereza is going to hell alive as well after Luka came to her. It might have just been an effect for the scene with him, but if it is actually note worthy, they might be toughing it out down there together. If that is true, I kinda want to see a Cereza (and Luka) demon for Bayonetta 4.
Ha! This just lifted me up massively. Looking back now it all makes a lot of sense and there's much more hope for the plot of future installments. Thank you for this
Same. Got so mad and depressed seeing the ending but seeing this and all those details you pointed out, I feel a little bit better. Hopefully we get confirmation from the makers soon that they're all really alive and well. I just want all the other Cerezas, multiverses and from Bayo 1 & 2, and Jeanne all alive and back again. Also for Pure Cereza to just be safe and happy.
I really liked this and never thought of this. It makes the end more clear. I truly hope bayo and Jeanne are alive. I think 1 and 2 bayo went back to their timelines too. My thing is that why they made bayo 1 and 2 separate when they are the same and experienced the same. Also I’m confused about the whole arch eve and Adam thing.
1 and 2 actually seem to be different timelines. Love is Blue is that Bayos Scarborough Fair replacement, Bayo 2 never mentions Cereza, and calls Loki little one. Would be redundant for her to call two different people the same thing one after another
@@JohtoJonnyYT Never caught on that, but does that mean that bayo 2 is also a brave cereza or is she a sealed cereza that got woken up on a world where baldur was not possesed? After all, the game description of bayo 2 did say she had a similar upbringing to bayo 3. This does bring my understanding of the franchise on its head, and makes me question many things
@@CrasherLIX I think it has something to do with loki sending bayonetta back in time when loptar killed rosa and bayonetta opened the portal right before we see another bayonetta running in with Jeanne .
@@JohtoJonnyYT the thing is why would she remember killing balder? And remember how she forgot everything and gained all her memories back. It doesn’t make much sense. If she didn’t say that in the 2nd game I’d agree.
Wow this was the best breakdown I’ve ever heard of for this masterpiece. I originally cried throughout the entire ending and credits (I mean the song at the end doesn’t help). But the more I think and research the better I feel. Kamiya is a freaking legend. If a pure action game can bring these emotions then you know it’s a great game haha
you know, you’ve actually made this ending a lot better for me, but it still bugs me how vague as hell this was so not everyone really understands that Pure Cereza just reversed what Singularity did. Also, people have been saying that the Bayonettas we play in each of the games are actually different versions of her, which is further evidenced by how a Bayo youtuber named CreativeHandle found a model showing the placement of the Bayonettas’ moles. B1, B2, and B3’s moles are actually placed slightly differently, with B1’s placed the lowest and B3’s placed the highest. You can even see this when taking pictures of Bayo’s face in each of the games. Beauty marks, of course, don’t just travel around as we age, so that pretty much confirms the theory.
Thank you for this. I finished my first playthrough last night and have been caught in a state of existential dread all day but I think this may have helped me snap out of it
@Johto Jonny Thank you so much. I feel so much better after watching..Wasnt going to replay any Bayonetta games knowing the outcome of this one but now i may play this game
That explains why bayonetta got so powerful all of a sudden, she is the Cereza that awakened, and still has in her possession the left eye of darkness.
Thanks for making a video explaining this. I hope more people see this video and realize the story isn't as bad as they're making it out to be. I think other big thing causing a freak out is Cereza being "dead" and Viola being the new Bayo. I know they literally call Viola Bayonetta but I don't think they're just going to drop Cereza from the series. While it probably won't be the Cereza we saw in this game I think we will still see another Cereza Bayo in the future (or more than one), and I don't think Viola is going to be the new main character. I think it's just going to be a dual protagonist thing. Which I'm okay with as long as they make playing as Viola mostly optional. She's fun, but I want there to still be plenty of Bayo gameplay in the future.
I don't quite agree with your prediction of Cereza being the main character in the future. It was stated by the creators that Bayonetta 3 is meant to be the finale for Cereza's story. Any future Bayonetta games will likely have Viola as the main character (or maybe Jeanne if they do her spin-off).
@@gundamgamer7060 Well Bayo 1&2 are separate universes and all other Bayonetta’s are back in their own universes alive and well. But all Lukas are not. As they all merged with the Luka of Pure Cereza’s reality and are now in Hell.
I too thought a lot of this stuff was pretty outwardly implied, but I just finished the game a day ago. I knew people didn’t like it but I’m frankly shocked. It has some of the best gameplay and most diverse story in terms of settings next to Bayo 2
I honestly don't hate viola as a character. She's clumsy, cringe, and honest about who she is. All intentionally so. She's just trying to get onto her feet and I'm fine with that. I may hate how she feels to play but I don't hate her character. In spite of that, Viola does not have the same *amount* of charisma that Cereza did. She cannot hold a story on her own as she is right now. Thats not to say she has to be Cereza but she needs to be as big of a presence as Cereza. To contrast her with Nero, I was fully invested with his story from beginning to end and frankly he earned his right to be a main character in DMC 5 to me. He may not be Dante but he can definitely hold his own. Viola isn't there yet and if Viola is the protagonist of Bayonetta 4 then Platinum is just shooting themselves in the head.
This explanation was like a OH YEAHHHHHHHH I did NOT even consider it because I was kicking ass. This is why this cereza has the similar hair. We ALWAYS dealt in time. Peopel are seeing this as a straight through thing. The styles of this universe is also different enough as well.
Thank you so much for this video. Some things confused me but this helped me understand it better. Bayonetta 3 was superb and the absolute best of the series imo. It was a Day 1 buy for me and it was everything I wanted from this series, but it went further and it didn't disappoint! I beat it 3 times now and got everything in the game except Rodin's weapon because well..........I've given up on trying to beat him! I'm happy that 3 fixed alot of the issues I had with 2, the most important in that all of the cutscenes in 3 being actual scenes, not just still-scenes/pictures with them talking in the background, which 2 had way too much of and it made me think that 2 didn't have a good budget or something. The only time 3 used the still-scenes/pictures was when Bayonetta views flashbacks of her other selves, which was good. Not to mention the level of style, excitement, design, and action choreography of the cutscenes was a much higher degree of quality than almost all of 2. I loved the Multiverse and it was a good move introducing this as it opens many doors for the series now and it perfectly fits in with the World of Chaos being well.....chaotic, which perfectly symbolizes the Multiverse. I loved the different locations this game had from Japan, to China, to Egypt, and then Paris. Seeing alternate Bayonettas was simply fantastic. Even the island of Thule was cool and I wish we had gotten to explore a little of the Altar of the Sky because it had a very majestic design. The story could've been a little more explored because it did feel like alot of important story elements were left out and not properly explained. I don't know if this was done on purpose or if it was convoluted to the point where they missed things. Maybe both??? Either way, Bayonetta's story was always a bit all over the place, but it was easier to understand 1 and 2's as opposed to 3 I'll admit. None the less, the story was engrossing imo and with the help of videos explaining things and having played through it 3 times, I understand it a lot better now! I don't know if this is just me, but I thoroughly enjoyed that the chapters felt longer in 3 than it did in 2. Each chapter in 3 , to me, had more content and exploration then most of the chapters in 2 and I really enjoyed exploring all the different environments. I hated how 2 had chapters where it was just literally 1 boss battle and then it's over. It made 2 feel so incredibly short and cheap. I'm glad they decided not to do this again in 3 and almost every boss battle in 3 was epic, exciting, and kept you on your toes. The only boss I felt that way about in 2 was the final Balder fight in Inferno. I also enjoyed that 3 had much more bosses. This game's Final Boss was incredibly epic and severely made up for the lackluster anti-climatic final boss in 2. And this game's soundtrack was the best in the series, with the Singularity Definition OST being the best final boss track in the series. Viola was a nice addition to the series, I have no issues with her and her Fairy Masquerade Rage was cool, but I still abhor her infuriating Witch Time activation! That's the only thing I don't like about her. The frame rate issues didn't bother me because this is the Switch and we all know it's not gonna give out the same stable quality as the PS4 or PS5 so, graphics and frame rate wise, this was never a problem for me. I'm just grateful for Nintendo saving this franchise and allowing it to get to this awesome game being made. But if they ever released this on PS4 or PS5, I wouldn't say no to it. As for the ending, I personally loved it. The very beginning of the game showed the stakes being the highest it's ever been with Bayonetta from Viola's world getting killed by Singularity. This game wasn't going to end on a happy note with the extinction of alternate universes and Bayonettas/Arch-Eves dying all across the Multiverse being the backbone of it. What "Our Cereza" does in this final battle is grand and the ending was much more impactful because of it. As for Luka and her together, I have no issue with it because I never saw Jeanne as her lover, she was her sister/best friend. People saw there sexiness, innuendo, and lustful behavior as them hinting that they were in love with each other or maybe that Bayonetta was bisexual, I don't know and I don't care really. Imo, the sexiness, innuendo, and lustful behavior they express with each other is how they've always been, teasing and being proud of being sexy powerful women. You could interpret this either way you want, but whether she ended up with Jeanne or Luka, the other side would've raged and been angry so it's a lose-lose story element imo. Platinum just decided to go for Luka and that's fine with me. I also believe this gives Luka more importance in the grand scheme of things otherwise there would be no point in him being in the series after the first game as then he would just be the comic relief character which is already Enzo imo so we don't really need another one. All in all, I can't wait to see Bayonetta 4 in the future and I'm eager to see where and how they're gonna bring Bayonetta back. Viola saves her and Luka from Inferno or the Bayonetta from the first game's universe comes back into the mix. Who knows, but theres alot of possibilities and with the introduction to the Multiverse and Fairies, the future of the series is gonna be great!!!
You did an awesome Job dude. Appreciate it! But I'm still gonna be honest. I was actually hoping to hear somewhat of a confirmation that Viola is not the new Bayonetta from here on out, so I'm still pretty dissapointed. I absolutely hate the fact she inherited the name because, in my opinion, she lacks almost every single aspect of being Bayonetta, at least as we know her. She has no sexappeal whatsoever, she's goofy, insecure, anxious, awkward, noisy, immature and has a terrible character design that does not at all fit into this game. I know I sound harsh, but I feel like expecting to be happy when a large portion of the game's identity, an identity which I adore to no end since 2009, might change in the future, is a bit too much to ask. I still wanna make something clear: No offense to anyone who likes Viola. You're free to like what you want and I'm not here to judge anyone for what they like but I still wanna voice my opinion about my dissapointment about the ending.
I get your point, Bayo has a gigantic charisma that she doens't have, but who knows, it could be fun, and Bayo can still be playable. This allows as well Platinum to try new types of gameplay I guess
The problem of the game it's that this is terrible communicated through the game. I shouldn't need a 10 minute video to understand the narrative of a game. Another thing could be the lore... But a story needs to be understandable for the viewer.
There is one thing that annoy me a bit in the end... Calling a feral beast like Gamorah who, once the collar broke was out of control. While she could have called her best friend Madama Butterfly
You took words right out of my mouth😉 I knew the universes could not be gone permanently. Now in B4 Viola could actually team up with another Bayonetta again and also discover her fairy ties with more twilight creatures as enemies perhaps??
Okay, thanks for the video! I just finished the game today and was so sad (the ending credits are so emotional!) This really makes me appreciate the story more.
I know im late but something ive just realized is that even without Cerezas universe, there were still others alive as when Scarborough Fair bayo appears, singularity doesnt care yet when Love is Blue bayo appears he gets scared and says that she shouldnt be there.
Thank you for your analysis!!! I was also super depressed and down, just kept thinking, this can't be how things end!!! But you made me see the ending in a whole other prospective and 100% agree with you 😁
I'm kinda glad to see the ending may potentially be misunderstood. PtGs writers can get very crafty and have gotten craftier with Bayo 3. Not you had to analyse the visuals, but break down the dialogue too, which sometimes goes over people's heads if you're not paying acute attention. Hopefully your two suggested theories can somewhat give a new perspective for the ending we got.
I find it difficult to read the writers for Bayo. A lot of the stuff that happens seems to happen just because it'd create a cool scenario and they don't think much deeper than that, but on the other hand they also put in A TON of detail on their lore. On top of that you have factors like translation differences and such. Basically I mean it can be tricky as to what you're supposed to look deeply into and what you're supposed to not think too much about. They're writers who love the world they're writing about, but they also are writing for a high paced action game series and it seems like that priority can clash sometimes. Still, I think Jonny read into the right things in this case. I just sometimes wish it was a bit easier to follow for everyone who picks it up and not just the people who deep dive into it.
This is a small detail, but I believe that Cerezita did revive all of the Arch eves, since those last three souls she releases are her Jeanne, Bayo 1, and Bayo 2. I’m pretty sure the only reason why they had those three souls be released separately from all the others was for the dramatic effect of staggering when Jeanne came out to help and to have you wonder who those last two souls could be to foreshadow the big reveal of them being Bayo 1 and 2. That said, I find it kind of weird how they didn’t show Jeanne in the end credits scene if she was supposed to be alive, so I’m still not too sold on them actually being alive rather than just their souls materializing for a short time to help Cerezita fight Singularity.
@@Freddy-ff5pq The video argues that they died, were revived, and then used Ginnungagap (sp?) or some other spell to come to the same world as Cerezita was currently in, not that they never died to begin with.
@@josephsherby I didn't understand it like that. They never died. And one of the Bayos says it. The strongest Bayonettas were there. They used the The G... thing to go to this universe and help Cereza. They then returned to their world.
I pray to whoever is upstairs you are right as this makes me hate the ending so much less. I can take it as a bittersweet thing and hope the real bayonetta comes back for part 4
I feel like a lot of people are forgetting that she's over 500 years old, and this Cereza was never sealed away during the witch hunts; that's a pretty good run if you ask me. There's so many centuries she's lived through that they could explore in-depth in another game. I also think it would be pretty cool if she became a Madama, or some type of infernal, and contracted with Viola. I wasn't a big fan of the Viola segments and I definitely wouldn't want a Bayonetta game focusing on her and her crappy witch time parry bullshit. I suspect Platinum isn't ending the series or the Character of Cereza with this entry.
Totally agree they also could have expanded on her lumen sage side since she's half lumen. But 500 years there was SSOOO much they could have worked with rather than offing her for this punk rock swords woman that cant even make a contract with a demon nor control it properly. Heres to hoping the next game is another cereza who embraced the lumen side instead or even our o.g bayonetta trying to save the cereza of this game from hell. A jeanne spin off trying to save cereza is also a thing i feel should be addressed and it was told allegedly that the voice actress for jeanne said a spin off will happen starring jeanne as the main character . Just please Platinum games ,dont make viola a main anything lol. Keep her for a support and call it a day .
Mmmm there are some place to have an Arc where Rodin brought Viola back to Pure Cereza universe and go to hell in order to finally made a weapon from Bayonetta, he eventually succeed but while transforming into guns, she also turn into Madama Cereza ( find a better name for me pls ) and Viola has to defeat her in that form in order to have a pact with her and use masquerade with her new guns :p
ohhh, so when cereza releases all the other bayos/jeannes their realities were restored, and they're all back in their universes on the same rock as our cereza, fighting along side a destabilized version of her from their perspective. When they got hit by singularity and dissipated, their connection to our timelines cereza is severed and they all fell back to each of their respective earths.
This video has made me understand better than I could understand it myself. I am still convinced that Bayo 1 and 2 is the same Bayonetta though. As Bayonetta 2 only takes place a few months after 1. But thank you for this video it helps a lot. I have ADHD and a bad case of it at that. So as soon as I got confused all I kept thinking about was how does this all connect and it’s been driving me insane. Thank you. It isn’t much but you’ve got a sub from me.
So glad I could help! I suppose actually that 1 and 2 being the same or different is still up for debate on further analysis so you're correct in doubting the prospect!
I had my doubts about the game's ending the first time because I was struggling to grasp what just happened (I mean, high octane action + the biggest fan service = not enough brain power to process the narrative beats going on) and got caught up on the outrage from people who most likely felt the same way. This video however as helped me understand the ending more and I actually feel some relief and like you said - the truth is what we make of it. I can only assume that the drama that got stirred up over the VAs affected the perception of people in some way, unconsciously putting this game up higher than what could have been expected and then some, like fans expected some kind of amazing pay off if they stayed true to the game if they stuck with it but not getting that. But that's just my opinion.
Man, if only more people actually tried to THINK and look at all the lore you collect and really analyze like you did. We got all these people saying Bayonetta 3 “ruined” the characters and the story of the previous 2 when nothing was retconned and people also seem to be under the impression that Bayo will just suffer for eternity in Inferno when that’s just not what all the lore established up to this point about her and her connections says will likely happen. She’s dead, but she’ll do just fine in Inferno.
I can't believe I didn't catch bayonetta 1 doing the same thing she did to little cereza... like I did but it didn't register to me that it was because she remembered her or knew who she was
If Jeanne is alive, the game did a disservice by not showing her at the end because everyone who played the game believes that she is killed in the lamest way possible.
I think Bayonetta 1 and 2 Cereza are different because of the events of Bayonetta 2. The after credits of Bayo 2 most likely restarted the events of Bayonetta 1,especially sinced it showed the logo for it.
They are different Bayonettas, but the effect from Bayo 2 is the reason for Bayo 1 which results in Bayo 2 Without the Prophet in Bayo 2, there wouldn't be Bayo 1 because Balder would never be effected
@@marcel-pb2ul The grandmother paradox! Explains why those two were killed by Singularity much earlier as opposed to later since the death of those two would have ended many other realities
@@kelico8407 bit the other realities are not effected by the Events from the other games. Bayo 1 and 2 are not in the same World, but it explains it. Things in bayo 2 does not effect Bayo 1, but the Events that were Show are the same as in Bayo 2. The same things Happen in Bayo 3
The first time I saw the ending I was so saddened but now watching this analysis, I feel so much better. I'm very excited with Viola and her Faerie heritage because it opens a whole new realm of possibilities. Maybe in the next game (hopefully) it will be a major focus point.
" Maybe in the next game (hopefully) it will be a major focus point." Doubt it. Most people aren't really a fan of the character. Most it will get is a spinoff, not mainline game.
I just finished the game a few hours ago (instead of sleeping) and you just made everything click to me. Same as you, I was greatly saddened and my feelings were pretty conflicted after everything I saw (Which is actually a lot in such a short period of time), but now that I have seen this, I feel a little bit better with everything. Thank you very much for such an excellent work explaining what happened in this video. Can't wait to see more!
Thank you for your work! I could tell the game was telling us that the other Bayonettas and Jeanne's weren't really dead, but I was having difficulty piecing together exactly what the game was trying to say. This makes perfect sense. Would you mind explaining how Luca is suddenly a faerie king though? I'm totally lost on that one and feel like there wasn't nearly enough of an explanation for that.
I honestly think Bayonetta 3 is going to be very underrated in the future. It’s gameplay is too good, and it’s story has too much grey area to simply be dismissed as awful.
100% agree. I think this is a game that is criticized a lot now (there are things to criticize but not as much as people make it seem) but in the future, it will be appreciated more. It's the Syndrome of Misunderstood Sequel. Look at Bayonetta 2. This is a game that sure, it's pretty good and all and was overall well received... But in the Bayonetta community, many people criticized it because of the step down it took when it comes to gameplay and so on, and the discussion was always that Bayonetta 1 was better than 2. And now, we are seeing the exact same thing with Bayonetta 3, but instead of Bayonetta 1 now Bayonetta 2 is supposedly the best entry in the series. Once a Bayonetta 4 comes out, doesn't matter if objectively is the best game in the franchise... People will appreciate Bayonetta 3 more and be like ''Oh, i've always loved Bayo 3 since the beginning'' (which might not be true) and criticize harshly whatever they'll do in 4, with or without Cereza.
I actually think the Bayonetta 2 that we see is not the same one that we played as in the actual Game Bayonetta 2, for a simple reason: the version of Labolas that she summons, when looked at in the game's files on Infernals, is different from the Labolas we summon in Bayonetta 2 (in Bayo 2 he was a dog, in Bayo 3 they're a family of cats fused together). Other than that little nitpick, this did actually make me feel quite a bit better about the ending (minus the very out of nowhere romance lol)
Actually, viola is the name of the mother twins in Astral Chain. There's a couple hint in the game which suggest it. Apart from the fusion form in Astral Chain is a weirdly looking as werewolf. Their resemblance to viola is highly uncanny. Even the astral plane looks a bit like a masonry rift which suggest, there is an imbalance of once could be a worlds that is collapse and human ha to leave in the ark on Astral Chain story.
This is going to be a long essay so if you are too lazy to read this, that’s fine but don’t be upset if it is too long. I don’t want any complaints. So skip if you don’t want to read or if you don’t like what you see. You were warned. Now this video was a much more accurate way to discribe the ending. Props for Johto Johnny for this. And for all those haters of BayoxLuka, let me assure you, Luka kissing and being with Pure Cereza, does NOT mean anything for Bayonetta 1&2. As the video shows, Bayonetta 3 takes place mainly in the Time Displacement universe (Pure Cereza’s universe). And as we just saw Bayonetta 1&2 are separate timelines (which a timeline is a universe). Now in Bayonetta 1, we know Luka starts to like Bayonetta but she constantly rejects his advances in hilarious ways. And it was clear she wasn’t interested in Luka romantically. While she started to respect Luka, she didn’t take him too seriously. Cuz she knows he is a pervert and a try hard and she wouldn’t waist her time with him. Yes, he was helpful and kind, but that doesn’t outweigh the negatives for it to change Bayonetta’s perspective of him. It was clear that she doesn’t have a thing for him and her teasing was just her way of punishing Luka for how he was and how annoying his perverted antics were. I mean, her teasing and sexual nature is just a means to an end. She may see Luka as merely an acquaintance of some sort, but nothing beyond that. When Kamiya said "She teases Luka; like a toy, but will never commit, he'd die long before her” he was accurate to a tee. Which leads to the second game… In Bayonetta 2, she does less teasing and is a bit more harsh with her criticism towards him. Mainly cuz in that game he is depicted as a much more bigger baffoon than he was in Bayo 1. Though, it may have been due to what Kamiya said and wanted to ensure that. Mari Shimazaki (the character creator) even said Bayonetta treats Luka like a child and will likely never change her perspective. And in Bayo 2, we see from her perspective how she sees him. In a scene where she and Loki poke fun at Luka’s incompetence she refers to Luka as a “Little boy who risks everything for nothing”. Granted those aren’t the exact words but it’s basically what she implied. The fact she said that confirms two things; 1. She doesn’t see Luka as a man and sees him as childish and immature. 2. She finds his antics and his desperate attempts to woo her as a waist of time cuz she will never see him that way. For her Characterization this was done on purpose to show how smart she is and why she isn’t dumb enough to be swooned by a mortal man who she will eventually outlive and isn’t considered mature in her eyes. Luka was never intended to be Bayo’s “love interest” but more of a male character with a one-sided interest who helps show the audience as to why Bayonetta is smart, strong, independent and appealing. Bayonetta is a character that doesn’t need a love interest. And normally, doing so ruins the existing appeal of her to the fans. This UA-camr named simondomino made a video discussing Bayo’s character and the others within the series and it’s down right accurate to a tee. This video was made 3 years ago but it’s relevant to Bayonetta 1&2 seeing as they now take place in separate universes. But give him a watch. He makes fair points here. ua-cam.com/video/nVfs3b1Ukmg/v-deo.html And in Bayonetta 3, neither Bayo 1 or Bayo 2 mention him nor do we know anything about the Luka’s of their universes. Though as Johto Johnny said, they all merged with Time Displacement Luka due to Arc Adam (I hope I spelled that right), every Luka in the multiverse is gone. And it’s never shown if any of the other Bayonetta’s from alternate universes ever met nor know of Luka other than the one from Viola’s home universe. So if Bayo 1 and 2 are back in their home universes and every Luka in the multiverse is gone, then I guess that confirms it. It wouldn’t happen between them in Bayo 1&2 regardless. Not only does Bayo 1 and Bayo 2 show no interest in Luka romantically, but every Luka in the multiverse is gone now. So it wouldn’t have mattered either way. But the point is, what Kamiya said was true to a tee for Bayonetta 1&2. And seeing as Bayonetta 3 has established the first two games as separate realities, that makes sense. They have a different history with him in those realities. Pure Cereza’s feelings for Luka were different due to having a different history with him. Same with Wittingham Fair Bayonetta. Because according to the game, she and Luka’s history was drastically different. But again, this is proof of it. Bayo 1 and Bayo 2 have no romantic feelings for the Luka’s of their realities due to different reasons and history. They have a different perspective of him. Pure Cereza and Wittingham Fair Bayo’s history with their Luka’s changed things for them. I guess this is why Kamiya had Bayo 3 takes place in an alternate universe, to get away with changes without affecting Bayo 1 and 2’s continuity and establishment with the characters. Not officially true, but likely possible. So Kamiya didn’t completely change his mind on what he said. He was right on Bayo 1&2. Just made things different for Pure Cereza in 3. So Bayonetta 3 has not changed how we remember Bayonetta in the first two games.
I just finished the game yesterday and it was like a major kick in the balls.... it was a really good ending, but a depressing one. And i did got that luka headed to hell to protect carezas soul and that they now "live" in hell Also I got that if platinum games is going to continue the franchise it was gonna be with viola (as they say in game that bayonetta will continue with a new generation) I was searching if i missed anything that would change the ending or something (like if i got a bad ending) but then i get to this video and it makes sense, so it changes the ending completely!
You analysis really does help bring everything into context. Along with some solace that Mistress Cereza is safe for the most part within Inferno. I was also hoping that singularity’s death would’ve undone some of the damage it caused like how aesir did in Bayonetta 2.
One detail bothers me though, the fact that Cereza and Luka abruptly end up as soulmates despite not being together and having no child in this universe. It could be easily explained if we consider that Luka and Cereza absorbed all their alternate selves and realize they were made for one another in all possible timelines. For this reason, I prefer to believe that all the Bayos were temporary recollections who disappeared for good with the end of Cereza and Singularity. The only world to be mended being the one which didn’t get fully destroyed in the first place. Or most likely, they favored emotional impact over plot coherence and we should not think too hard about it.
tbf this is probably just a product of the game not showing pure Cereza's backstory entirely. Throughout the game it's made obvious Cereza and Luka seem to have a closer relationship than Bayo from 1 and 2 have with their Lukas, as Cereza sounds fonder and protective of him than the other Bayos and Luka banters with her and even teased her during his first appearance in this game, so the romance between them has probably just been something building up off screen for quite some time and just finally happened during Bayo 3. I think they were just too subtle about it in the writing, but I definitely picked up the vibe that these two have been dancing around the idea of getting together from the snippets we got from the game.
I theorize that Balder in Bayo1 was trying to prevent Singularity from existing in the first place, and in Bayo2, Loptr just so happened to be doing the EXACT same. Both obviously failed. This would explain why Inferno randos and Gomorrah went after 2nd Bayo.
THAAAAAAAANK UUUUUU I was so confussed and sad because of the ending! (but also extremely tired because I couldn't help myself and ended up playing untill 2 AM) And now I am crying again because you explained the ending to me, meaning that only pure Cereza is gone and all the Luka's. Not every bayonetta! I did not see the particle effects! So they all got teleported back to their own universes, not destroyed again by Singularity! I am so happy to hear this! ;^; Im no gonna cry some more WHEEEEEH!!!!
This video is awesome! I think most people completely misunderstood the ending, I was a little confused too but I watched another video and now yours and it makes so much sense! I don’t think many people are a fan of Viola’s parry but one thing I did that makes it way better is changing her controls to control set D, it makes the block button ZR instead of R so activating witch time is way more intuitive, also, cuz I’m sure platinum is gonna address the complaints of that people had with Viola, they can either do it by having a spin off where she grows as a character and her gameplay can be very different from this game, she’ll probably be trained to use bullet arts and be able to use other demons, and if people still don’t like her then they have a mostly restored multiverse with other Bayos and even the ones we played as in 1 & 2 to go and explore more. And we got Jeanne & Rodin that I think everyone would love full games based of them (especially Rodin that would be epic) so I think people need to chill on the Viol hate cuz there’s so many directions they could go in
Let me take a wild guess: I need to suck it up, accept that useless brat Viola as a new main protagonist (despite her shortcomings) and let her grow on me...which is NOT gonna happen!!! The last thing I need is a lecture from the Bayonetta 4 Coalition! If you ask me, I've already lost all hope for the Bayonetta franchise ever since the ending, which made me depressed and angry. Don't even think about guilt tripping me into buying Bayonetta 4 anytime in the future, because all I know is that renewing my love and respect for the Bayonetta franchise will not be good for me while I'm depressed, apathetic and sullen!
I didn't realize the whole "all the Bayonetta is existing in all universes" bit, or Luka's protecting Bayonetta, and it completely flew over my head that our character in Bayonetta 3 was the young Cereza from the 1st game (even though they definitely have the same braids). I did realize Luka and Cereza ceased existing though, that was obvious. I'd freak out if Cereza does make an appearance in Bayonetta 4 though, past flashbacks or being a secret character. It's heavily implied Viola will be the new protagonist/Bayonetta.
Viola taking residence in the pure timeline makes the most sense to me. When that location title thing said Manhattan New York, it wasn't labeled as an alternate universe. Also, since the pure timeline no longer has a Cereza to defend it and assuming that Viola's mom was revived it would make sense for her to leave her universe and defend the one that doesn't have its primary protector.
Love how because of Bayo 1 (My hands down favorite Bayonetta) Pure Cereza was able to learn from her and become so powerful. This video really did help me 'cope' with this ending, I was NOT at all happy with it at first, but you've made it make soooo much sense now. I'm just hoping the next game doesn't focus heavily on Viola. I found her character to be annoying and irritating to play, mainly because like, why play her when I can play as the strongest Bayonetta known in all existence. Either way the franchise goes, this has to be the best ending for an original character, well for Pure Cereza.
I am actually kinda glad that I saw some people react about "omg, like, everyone dies wtf" as a spoiler before I got to the ending because it made me think, "Wait really? Wow I wonder how?" When I got to the ending I almost pieced together pretty much everything pointed out here because of the pseudo spoilers about the mixed reactions to the ending made me more focused on the how and why. The only thing I didn't catch was how all the Adams are actually kinda in danger now. I like this ending a lot thanks to people that kinda didn't and that's kind of ironic. However, I will knock it some points just because of the polarizing reactions. Like, if it were a little more ironed out to show more of what is happening maybe more people could notice it's not as sad or apocalyptic of an ending. Reminds me of Jojo part 6... I get making the story more open for people to interpret but at least try to help people not get unintentional reactions to interpretations.
The only thing that bugs me is that the glowing blue that Luka and Cereza have when being pulled into inferno. That blue affect happened before when Luka sacrificed himself so Cereza and Viola could back to stop Singularity. Yet Luka showed up alive and well. Then when Luka and Cereza embrassed, Cereza's physical form came into being from her spirit.
I agree with most of what you said but the guns descriptions do not prove bayo 1 and 2 are from different universes from each other only that they are different from the one in bayo 3 (also scarborough fair doesn't have any mention of an alternate universe in bayo 2s description).
The guns was saying the Bayonetta you see at 3's start is different from the actual Bayonetta 1 version (despite having the same outfit). There could however be alternate timelines of Bayonetta having either her 1st game or 2nd game design within the same date, but I can't tell for certain (probably safe at least to say 2 had events after the 1st game, assuming that character was the 1st protagonist with new attire for 2).
When Cereza bowed during Let's Dance, Baby!, that's what steeled the finality of her being gone for me. I guess it also hurt so much because we played as her.
I just realized, and these are new theories. What if Brave Cereza’s cracked body became corrupted by her dark essence, unless it was a communication by Brave Cereza after her bonded kiss with Fused Luka? The Inferno (we all know) they were sent into is still the same Inferno, but possibly frozen due to the cryostasis kiss, and the hands of Inferno that took them in were frozen by it. Which leads to the point that their survival would be important for Viola to make sure they can eventually be saved, as well as undoing the Witch Hunts. It’ll be crazy if she will wield the power of a Strider, a Witch, and a Sage (because of her connection to Grand-Father Balder), with a bit of help of using the experiments Sigurd made to connect with the lost souls prior to the creation of Trinity of Realities, and with the help of Loki to go back in time of those events to undo what Bayonetta 3 (or perhaps the whole trilogy) did through both his powers and his cards, for there need to be more children like Cereza AND Viola without any judgment.
That is a really cool theory but unfortunately it's confirmed that inferno and paradiso don't have variants, only the chaos realm. That's why Rodin is actually the same one in 3 as the one in the previous games and you can see witches summon the same demons despite being in completely different chaos universes
@@feyernightblade2050 Seems that the Gates of Hell is a pocket dimension between the many realities in the multiverse, and only in the Chaos Realm, which is a known fact.
I couldn't help but notice that the forest in which young Bayo get's lost in, in the picture book chapter has a couple of plants or decorations very similar to strider Luka. That "to be continued...?" phrase and all the flashing images from what's to come tells me that we would definitely get DLC explaining more. It also brings my hopes up for extra story missions in which Viola literally goes down to hell to rescue her parents a la Bayonetta 2 style.

They need to. No one is going to buy a game starting viola. Literally the series JUST started selling well. It would be suicide for Platinum to change their main character from the one everyone already loves
@@JohtoJonnyYT so bayonetta 1 and 2 wasn't selling well before?
@@ingridragguette5476 Not well enough
Glad I could! Platinum seems to be leaving their options open but we all know we should have more Cereza, not Viola
I didn't even think about the Jeanne teaching Viola thing but yes probably! Depending on what timeline Rodin brought her to of course
@@JohtoJonnyYT If we go by your theory when each universe is introuduced, by the end of the game when we see New York back to normal, it doesn't say "Alternate Verse No." on it.

Arch might mean archetype
1 and 2 actually seem to be different timelines. Love is Blue is that Bayos Scarborough Fair replacement, Bayo 2 never mentions Cereza, and calls Loki little one. Would be redundant for her to call two different people the same thing one after another
@@JohtoJonnyYT Never caught on that, but does that mean that bayo 2 is also a brave cereza or is she a sealed cereza that got woken up on a world where baldur was not possesed? After all, the game description of bayo 2 did say she had a similar upbringing to bayo 3.

I finished my first playthrough last night and have been caught in a state of existential dread all day but I think this may have helped me snap out of it
So many people missed these details
@Johto Jonny Thank you so much. I feel so much better after watching..Wasnt going to replay any Bayonetta games knowing the outcome of this one but now i may play this game
@@TTVJOJO41323 so glad I could help!
Feel free to share it around! And yes I agree, Viola should only be a side character and nothing more
I don't quite agree with your prediction of Cereza being the main character in the future.
Honestly, this makes me feel much better cause I just finished the game an hour or 2 ago and I was sobbing.
Thank you for this breakdown analysis! I was going through the 5 stages of grief from the ending of this game!
I don't hate her either but I DO hate the prospect of replacing a unique character with a caricature we see in all other media
This is so convincing I genuinely hope that was what was going through their minds while writing this!
We can only hope
This explained everything well thank you for this
There is one thing that annoy me a bit in the end... Calling a feral beast like Gamorah who, once the collar broke was out of control. While she could have called her best friend Madama Butterfly
You took words right out of my mouth😉
I knew the universes could not be gone permanently. Now in B4 Viola could actually team up with another Bayonetta again and also discover her fairy ties with more twilight creatures as enemies perhaps??
this video made me re-value the ending entirely. thank you so much for this
So glad I could help!
I'll likely be in denial about our Bayonetta being dead for a while. It's just comforting to think she's still alive in some capacity.
Okay, thanks for the video! I just finished the game today and was so sad (the ending credits are so emotional!) This really makes me appreciate the story more.
Glad I could help! People really missed so much of this. Please share around to your friends!
This is such a great examination. This makes me feel better. If this is legitimate, then yes, Bayonetta 3 is the greatest Bayonetta so far.
I also realized when bayonetta releases all the arch eves you can see her beta design
Yep! All the scrapped designs from Bayo 1!
She didn't release bayo 1 and 2..they never died. Watch the video again
@@josephsherbyapparently you are right, singularity says "I've detroyed you" so yeah they died.
I pray to whoever is upstairs you are right as this makes me hate the ending so much less. I can take it as a bittersweet thing and hope the real bayonetta comes back for part 4
Thank you so much for yhe explanation! I can rest in peace now
I feel like a lot of people are forgetting that she's over 500 years old, and this Cereza was never sealed away during the witch hunts; that's a pretty good run if you ask me.
Bayo becoming a madama?? Ooooohhh that would be really interesting
@@Issaviewer91 I reaaaallllly hoped for a lumen bayonetta variant. Or that she at least got to know more about these other variants.. but eh
Nothing says that a game starring Viola as the main character wouldn't play like the usual Bayonetta though.
Great video I feel much better about that ending now! Hopefully we won't have to wait another 8 years for the next one
ohhh, so when cereza releases all the other bayos/jeannes their realities were restored, and they're all back in their universes on the same rock as our cereza, fighting along side a destabilized version of her from their perspective. When they got hit by singularity and dissipated, their connection to our timelines cereza is severed and they all fell back to each of their respective earths.
Correct!
I hope we get DLC that continues Viola’s story. Awesome video!🧡😍
This doesn't make me not hate what happens to Cereza but you cleared up a LOT of confusion I had about the ending, thanks for this.
Damn it, if Helena Tylor is not so greedy, this last scene with three bayonetta will make an epic scene.
Yeah i support this truth, its much more satisfying this way.
I can't believe I didn't catch bayonetta 1 doing the same thing she did to little cereza... like I did but it didn't register to me that it was because she remembered her or knew who she was
Surprise!
Im going to say it, there is going to be DLC.
Pls I hope so. And it better not be more viola shit
@@JohtoJonnyYT u hate viola?
@@JohtoJonnyYT I agree with you

If Jeanne is alive, the game did a disservice by not showing her at the end because everyone who played the game believes that she is killed in the lamest way possible.
I think Bayonetta 1 and 2 Cereza are different because of the events of Bayonetta 2. The after credits of Bayo 2 most likely restarted the events of Bayonetta 1,especially sinced it showed the logo for it.
They are different Bayonettas, but the effect from Bayo 2 is the reason for Bayo 1 which results in Bayo 2
Without the Prophet in Bayo 2, there wouldn't be Bayo 1 because Balder would never be effected
@@marcel-pb2ul The grandmother paradox! Explains why those two were killed by Singularity much earlier as opposed to later since the death of those two would have ended many other realities

That's actually my next video I'll be making so stick around!
@@JohtoJonnyYT Perfect thanks! Looking forward to that.
Thank you so much for this! After finishing the game I got so confused and depressed. This cleared out everything! Ty!
Wait ... So, our main character is sent to hell while leaving behind successor?
This is the same ending as Devil May Cry 5
I absolutely love this games story and great video 😭😭😭
Not the Gluck Gluck Gluck realm 😭
Kind of disappointed that Bayo 2 isn't actually a sequel. Just an alternate
I just hope there's going to be dlc, a side game or a fourth game that clearly explains things like this
Please bring back our beloved characters in Bayonetta 4!! Please let them be still alive!!
Good point on the demon point.
This definetelly clears things up, I liked the way it ended and this makes me feel even better about it.
Which leads to the second game…
In Bayonetta 2, she does less teasing and is a bit more harsh with her criticism towards him.
He makes fair points here.
ua-cam.com/video/nVfs3b1Ukmg/v-deo.html
And in Bayonetta 3, neither Bayo 1 or Bayo 2 mention him nor do we know anything about the Luka’s of their universes.
And i did got that luka headed to hell to protect carezas soul and that they now "live" in hell
Also I got that if platinum games is going to continue the franchise it was gonna be with viola (as they say in game that bayonetta will continue with a new generation)
I was searching if i missed anything that would change the ending or something (like if i got a bad ending)
but then i get to this video and it makes sense, so it changes the ending completely!
Yeah I thought I got a bad ending, too! Lmao so I needed to analyze it hard
I think they were just too subtle about it in the writing, but I definitely picked up the vibe that these two have been dancing around the idea of getting together from the snippets we got from the game.
she can send kid Viola from hell to Rodin to mature Viola to teach herself and then come back to life when plot said she has to
This game only made Viola likable enough to play BUT NOT TO REPLACE OUR BAYONETTA
I honestly wouldn't say it's the best story because it's too ambiguous.
Another greay video Jonny!
Just finished the game on Expert mode right now and yes I agree about what you said on this video.
More power to you Jonny
I theorize that Balder in Bayo1 was trying to prevent Singularity from existing in the first place, and in Bayo2, Loptr just so happened to be doing the EXACT same. Both obviously failed. This would explain why Inferno randos and Gomorrah went after 2nd Bayo.
Man.... I was confused when Bayo 1 said that Cry line to bayo 3. Damn, this makes so much sense now, I literally thought they ended the series!.
THAAAAAAAANK UUUUUU
I was so confussed and sad because of the ending! (but also extremely tired because I couldn't help myself and ended up playing untill 2 AM)
And now I am crying again because you explained the ending to me, meaning that only pure Cereza is gone and all the Luka's.
Maybe the plot for Bayonetta 4 will be similar to 2.
Going to Hell to restore Cereza.
Awesome vid. Made the ending a much more pleasant pill to swallow ❤️😭
Am I the only one who noticed that Lucaon's robe looks identical to young Balder's lumen coat except for the fairy wings that adorn his body?
Love how because of Bayo 1 (My hands down favorite Bayonetta) Pure Cereza was able to learn from her and become so powerful. This video really did help me 'cope' with this ending, I was NOT at all happy with it at first, but you've made it make soooo much sense now. I'm just hoping the next game doesn't focus heavily on Viola. I found her character to be annoying and irritating to play, mainly because like, why play her when I can play as the strongest Bayonetta known in all existence. Either way the franchise goes, this has to be the best ending for an original character, well for Pure Cereza.
Felt like I was watching Spiderman when all 3 Bayonetta's were together 😂😂
Yes they should have just made it clear instead of purposely being vague about it
they intentionally made the mole placement of all 3 bayo leads to be different. Kamiya just like to mind fucks with everyone
It can also be purely a gesture as a thank you since you bought, played and completed the game and made it that far
this is the video i needed to see! I feel like this makes so much sense and really clears things up, thank you
So glad I could help!!!
This also means that Balder was the initial wildcard that allowed this Cereza to defeat Singularity ! At least he did ONE good thing with his life.
I was legitimately bummed out after the ending… thanks for explaining the truth.
Man I hope your right. As much as I like Viola, I don’t think I’m ready to accept her donning the name Bayonetta. It’s just way too soon
